Série EUROPA 2022 (Mythes et légendes) sur lettre d'Ukraine

Dans un contexte compliqué à cause de cette inhumaine invasion du pays par l'armée russe débutée il y a 11 mois maintenant, la poste ukrainienne a toutefois réussi à mettre en circulation, le 22 novembre 2022, une très jolie série EUROPA (2 timbres) illustrant le thème des légendes et mythes ("Історії та міфи" en ukrainien).
Un grand merci Roman pour l'envoi en recommandé de cette magnifique lettre le 28 novembre 2022 depuis la ville de Lviv, affranchie avec cette série EUROPA ! 
A noter que Roman a utilisé ici l'enveloppe illustrée (tirage : 20000) associée à cette série EUROPA.
Ces 2 timbres (tarif permanent "A" - 37 UAH environ, tirage : 180000 chacun), conçus par Mykola Kochubey et imprimés chacun en feuillets de 6 timbres, sont consacrés à deux anciens dieux slaves, Svarog et Lada.
In a complicated context because of this inhuman invasion of the country by the Russian army, which started 11 months ago, the Ukrainian Post nevertheless managed to put into circulation, on November 22, 2022, a very nice EUROPA series (2 stamps) illustrating the theme of Stories and myths ("Історії та міфи" in Ukrainian).
A big thank you Roman for sending this beautiful letter, by registered mail, on November 28, 2022 from the city of Lviv, stamped with this EUROPA set!
To note that Roman used here the illustrated envelope (print run: 20,000) associated with this EUROPA series.
These two stamps (permanent rate "A" - approximately 37 UAH, print run: 180,000 each), designed by Mykola Kochubey and each printed in sheetlets of 6 stamps, are dedicated to two ancient Slavic gods, Svarog and Lada.

 

Svarog est le dieu du feu et de la forge. On pense que Svarog a créé l'Univers, la Terre, tous les animaux qui s'y trouvent et les gens, a établi des lois sur le mariage.
La première source écrite qui mentionne Svarog est la "Chronique des temps passés", la plus ancienne chronique slave orientale qui nous soit parvenue, compilée vers 1111. Svarog est associé à un signe en forme de croix - Svarga, qui est un symbole de sainteté, de pouvoir spirituel.
On retrouve ce signe sur le timbre illustrant Svarog, tenant une croix et une épée, au centre d'une course de chevaux.
L'autre timbre, ci-dessus à droite, est consacré à Lada, la déesse de la maternité, du printemps, de l'amour et du mariage. Selon la légende, elle était l'épouse du dieu Svarog et la mère de Lelya et Polel.
Dans la mythologie slave, Lada apparaît à l'image d'une belle femme décorée de roses et d'épillets. Son nom est mentionné dans les anciennes vesniankas ukrainiennes (un type de chanson de danse printanière).
Lada est représentée sur ce timbre, un enfant dans les bras et un ange à ses pieds, avec une danse ronde festive de femmes dans la partie inférieure, incluant le symbole de la double hélice de l'ADN - mouvement sans fin et processus d'évolution.

Svarog is the god of fire and blacksmithing. It is believed that Svarog created the Universe, the Earth, all animais on it and people, established marriage laws.

The first written source that mentions Svarog is the "Tale of Bygone Years", the oldest East Slavic chronicle that has come down to us, compiled around 1111. Svarog is associated with a sign in the form of a cross - Svarga, which is a symbol of holiness and spiritual power.

We find this sign on the stamp illustrating Svarog, holding a cross and a sword, in the center of a horse race.

The other stamp, above right, is dedicated to Lada, the goddess of motherhood, spring, love and marriage. According to legend, she was the wife of the god Svarog and the mother of Lelya and Polel.

In Slavic mythology, Lada appears in the image of a beautiful woman decorated with roses and spikelets. Her name is mentioned in ancient Ukrainian vesniankas (a type of spring dance song).

Lada is depicted on this stamp, a child in her arms and an angel at her feet, with a festive round dance of women in the lower part, including the symbol of the DNA double helix - endless movement and process of evolution.
