International Year of Soils and Light in Moldova

The United Nations General Assembly declared 2015 as the International Year of Soils and International Year of Light and light-based technologies.
Such as other postal administrations (Italy, Liechtenstein, Vatican or Israel, for example, for the International Year of light), the Post of Moldova has released on February 21, 2015, a series of two stamps devoted to these two international years ("Anul Internaţional al Solului" and "Anul Internaţional al Luminii" in Romanian).
Thank you very much Serge for this nice official FDC (print run : 500) regarding this series, with postmark from Chisinau, including the logos of these two international years (also present on the stamps).

Like this envelope, the two stamps (print run : 200,000 each) have been designed by Vitaliu Pogolşa and issued each in sheet of 8 stamps.
The International Year of Soils is therefore devoted to this vital space under our feet, where an infinite number of living beings proliferates, too often underestimated, essential to sustain life on Earth.
Thanks to these organisms, the soil is indeed able to form, maintain cycles of matter and energy flows between the atmosphere, groundwater and vegetation cover, and to be the base of the food production.
The International Year of Light aims to raise awareness of the importance, in daily life, of light and light associated technologies such as optics, and that have a key role in the development of the society.
To note that the second postal operator of Kyrgyzstan (Kyrgyz Express Post), whose stamps are designed and printed in Moldova, also plans in 2015 to issue a series devoted to these two international years.
