La Fédération Internationale de Philatélie (FIP) a été créée le 18 juin 1926 à Paris par les représentants de 6 pays : Allemagne, Autriche, Belgique, France, Pays-Bas et Suisse.
Dès le début, la FIP a œuvré pour promouvoir la collection de timbres et la philatélie, favoriser l'amitié entre les peuples, entretenir des liens avec le secteur philatélique et les administrations postales, et soutenir les expositions philatéliques par son patronage et sa reconnaissance.
Aujourd’hui, la FIP regroupe 90 fédérations nationales avec lesquelles elle organise des conférences, des séminaires pour les futurs jurés lors de ses expositions et structure l'évolution de la façon de collectionner et d'exposer en introduisant de nouvelles classes de compétition.
Enfin, elle parraine et coorganise avec les fédérations nationales les expositions mondiales (générales et spécialisées) qui sont de véritable "jeux olympiques" de la philatélie.  
The Fédération Internationale de Philatélie (FIP - International Federation of Philately) was founded on June 18, 1926, in Paris by representatives from six countries: Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. 
From the outset, the FIP has worked to promote stamp collecting and philately, foster friendship among nations, maintain ties with the philatelic sector and postal administrations, and support philatelic exhibitions through its patronage and recognition.
Today, the FIP brings together 90 national federations; with them, it organizes conferences and seminars for aspiring jurors during its exhibitions and shapes the evolution of collecting and exhibiting practices by introducing new competitive classes.
Finally, it sponsors and co-organizes—alongside national federations—world exhibitions (both general and specialized) that serve as the true "Olympic Games" of philately.

La FIP célèbre donc le 100ème anniversaire de sa création en 2026 et un certain nombre d'administrations postales ont émis ou vont émettre des timbres sur ce thème, la plupart en reproduisant le logo officiel de ces 100 ans : Belarus, Monaco, République dominicaine, Serbie, Thaïlande, Bulgarie, Russie, Slovénie, Roumanie, Brésil, Uruguay, Israël, Chypre, Jordanie, Pakistan, Espagne, Bosnie-Herzégovine (Sarajevo), Émirats Arabes Unis, Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon, Grèce... 
Le 18 juin 2026, la poste espagnole Correos a mis en circulation un timbre consacré au 100ème anniversaire de la FIP.
Ce timbre (2,65€, tirage : 65000) a été utilisé sur la lettre ci-dessus envoyée le 6 juillet 2026 depuis Alicante. Merci beaucoup Luis !
Ce timbre, incluant l'emblème de la FIP et le logo officiel de ce 100ème anniversaire dans la partie supérieure, a été conçu par Eire Terrero Cumbre (né en 1968), membre du mouvement USK (Urban Sketchers). Il a été réalisé lors d'une session organisée par le groupe USK Bahía de Cádiz pendant l'Exposition philatélique nationale de 2025. 
USK est une communauté mondiale de dessinateurs amateurs et professionnels (créée en 2007) qui valorise la pratique du dessin in situ d'après l'observation directe de la vie urbaine et quotidienne.
Ce timbre, peu lisible, semble représenté un stand de la poste espagnole avec en particulier un service pour obtenir des oblitérations...
A noter qu'en Espagne, la Federación Española de Sociedades Filatélicas (FESOFI) est membre de la FIP. 
The FIP is thus celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2026, and a number of postal administrations have issued - or will issue - stamps on this theme, most featuring the official 100th-anniversary logo: Belarus, Monaco, Dominican Republic, Serbia, Thailand, Bulgaria, Russia, Slovenia, Romania, Brazil, Uruguay, Israel, Cyprus, Jordan, Pakistan, Spain, Bosnia and Herzegovina (Sarajevo), United Arab Emirates, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Greece, and others.
On June 18, 2026, the Spanish Post Correos, issued a stamp commemorating the 100th anniversary of the FIP.
This stamp (€2.65; print run: 65,000) was used on the cover above, sent from Alicante on July 6, 2026. Many thanks, Luis!
The stamp—featuring the FIP emblem and the official 100th-anniversary logo at the top—was designed by Eire Terrero Cumbre (born in 1968), a member of the USK (Urban Sketchers) movement. It was created during a session organized by the USK Bahía de Cádiz group at the 2025 National Philatelic Exhibition.
USK is a global community of amateur and professional artists (founded in 2007) that champions the practice of drawing *in situ*, based on direct observation of urban and daily life.
The stamp design is somewhat indistinct but appears to depict a Spanish Post booth, specifically one offering cancellation services...
It is worth noting that in Spain, the *Federación Española de Sociedades Filatélicas* (FESOFI) is a FIP member.  

"George Sand (1804-1876)" stamp on FDC from France

Dans le cadre du Salon Philatélique ParisPhilex 2026 organisé à Paris du 11 au 14 juin 2026, la poste française a mis en circulation un joli bloc-feuillet (3 timbres à 4€) consacré au 150ème anniversaire de la disparition de la romancière, dramaturge et journaliste George Sand (1804-1876).
George Sand, de son vrai nom Amantine Lucile Aurore Dupin, est l'une des écrivaines françaises les plus emblématiques et prolifiques du 19ème siècle. Femme de lettres engagée, dramaturge et journaliste, elle a marqué l'histoire de la littérature tant par l'immensité de son œuvre (plus de 70 romans et une riche correspondance) que par son mode de vie résolument libre et indépendant, s'affranchissant totalement des conventions sociales de son époque.
Ses premiers écrits, à l'image d'Indiana (1832) ou de Lélia, dénoncent la condition des femmes mariées et revendiquent leur liberté affective et civile.
Ses romans champêtres sont ses œuvres les plus célèbres aujourd'hui, profondément ancrées dans le terroir de la région du Berry, comme La Mare au diable (1846), François le Champi (1848) ou La Petite Fadette (1849). 
In conjunction with the ParisPhilex 2026 stamp exhibition held in Paris from June 11 to 14, 2026, the French Post has put into circulation a beautiful souvenir sheet (featuring three €4.00 stamps) dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the death of the novelist, playwright, and journalist George Sand (1804-1876).
George Sand—born Amantine Lucile Aurore Dupin—was one of the most iconic and prolific French female writers of the 19th century. A committed woman of letters, playwright, and journalist, she left her mark on literary history through both the vastness of her body of work (comprising over 70 novels and extensive correspondence) and her resolutely free and independent lifestyle, as she completely broke away from the social conventions of her time.
Her early writings, such as *Indiana* (1832) and *Lélia*, denounced the plight of married women and championed their emotional and civil freedom.
Today, her most famous works are her pastoral novels—deeply rooted in the landscape of the Berry region—including *La Mare au diable* (1846), *François le Champi* (1848), and *La Petite Fadette* (1849).  

Influencée par les idées de justice sociale, elle met en scène la lutte des classes et la condition ouvrière et paysanne dans des romans sociaux comme Le Meunier d'Angibault.
Après s'être séparée de son mari, elle obtient l'indépendance financière grâce à sa plume. Elle n'hésite pas à s'habiller en homme (portant la redingote et le pantalon) et à fumer la pipe en public pour circuler librement dans Paris.
Elle a partagé la vie de grandes figures artistiques de son temps, notamment le poète Alfred de Musset (une liaison passionnée et tumultueuse à Venise) et le compositeur Frédéric Chopin.
Républicaine et socialiste fervente, elle s'est activement investie lors de la Révolution de 1848, rédigeant des textes politiques et défendant le suffrage universel. 
La partie droite de ce bloc-feuillet (tirage : 100000, conception : Emmanuel Vedrenne), incluant une réimpression du timbre consacré à George Sand émis en 1957 (18 FRF + 7 FRF, dessiné et gravé par Paul-Pierre Lemagny), figure sur la lettre ci-dessus, avec TAD Premier Jour de Paris, daté du 13 juin 2026.
Une citation de George Sand souvent associée à son roman La Petite Fadette ou à ses correspondances sur la passion amoureuse est mentionnée sur ce bloc-feuillet : "Il n'y a qu'un bonheur dans la vie, c'est d'aimer et d'être aimé".
Influenced by ideas of social justice, she portrayed class struggle and the lives of workers and peasants in social novels such as *Le Meunier d'Angibault*.
After separating from her husband, she achieved financial independence through her writing. She did not hesitate to dress as a man (wearing a frock coat and trousers) and smoke a pipe in public in order to move freely around Paris.
She shared her life with major artistic figures of her time, notably the poet Alfred de Musset (with whom she had a passionate and tumultuous affair in Venice) and the composer Frédéric Chopin.
A fervent republican and socialist, she was actively involved in the Revolution of 1848, writing political texts and advocating for universal suffrage.
The right-hand section of this souvenir sheet (print run: 100,000; design: Emmanuel Vedrenne)—which includes a reprint of the 1957 George Sand stamp (18 FRF + 7 FRF, designed and engraved by Paul-Pierre Lemagny)—was used on the cover above, with First Day cancellation from Paris dated June 13, 2026.
A quote by George Sand, often associated with her novel *La Petite Fadette* or her correspondence regarding romantic passion, is featured on the souvenir sheet: "There is only one happiness in life: to love and be loved."  

Euromed Postal 2026 (Traditional Mosaics in the Mediterranean) stamp on cover from Slovenia

Timbre Euromed Postal 2026 (Mosaïques traditionnelles en Méditerranée) sur lettre de Slovénie 

Pour rappel, le 9 juillet 2007 a eu lieu la première convention internationale de la poste méditerranéenne signée à Marseille. Depuis cette date, l'Union Postale pour la Méditerranée (PUMed), une union restreinte de l'UPU, a été créée le 11 mars 2011 et comprend actuellement les opérateurs postaux de 23 pays du bassin méditerranéen (incluant aussi le Portugal et la Mauritanie).
Depuis 2014, certains de ces pays émettent chaque année des timbres "Euromed Postal" illustrant un thème commun, les mosaïques traditionnelles en Méditerranée ("Tradicionalni mozaiki Sredozemlja" en slovène) en 2026.
Sauf erreur, 14 pays ont émis à ce jour des timbres "Euromed Postal" en 2026, dont la Slovénie avec un timbre (tarif "D" pour un envoi ordinaire international 1ère classe - 2,21€ actuellement) mis en circulation le 13 juillet 2026, utilisé sur la lettre ci-dessous, envoyée le 24 août 2026 depuis Kranj. Ce timbre (conception : Urša Jurečič, tirage : 23000) illustre une mosaïque romaine provenant de la villa maritima de Simonov Zaliv à Izola.
Après la conquête romaine de l'Istrie, une grande partie de ses terres fertiles fut intégrée à de vastes domaines appartenant à des Romains riches et influents. Le littoral, en particulier, était parsemé de *villae maritimae* - des villas en bord de mer servant à la fois de centres d'activité économique et de lieux de résidence. 
As a reminder, the first international Mediterranean postal convention was signed in Marseille on July 9, 2007. Subsequently, the Postal Union for the Mediterranean (PUMed)—a restricted union of the UPU—was established on March 11, 2011; it currently comprises postal operators from 23 countries in the Mediterranean basin (including Portugal and Mauritania).
Since 2014, some of these countries have annually issued "Euromed Postal" stamps featuring a common theme; the theme for 2026 is Traditional Mosaics in the Mediterranean ("Tradicionalni mozaiki Sredozemlja" in Slovenian).
As far as I know, 14 countries have issued "Euromed Postal" stamps in 2026 to date, including Slovenia. This stamp (design: Urša Jurečič, print run: 23,000) depicts a Roman mosaic from the *villa maritima* at Simonov Zaliv in Izola.
Following the Roman conquest of Istria, much of its fertile land became part of large estates owned by wealthy and influential Romans. The coastal strip in particular was dotted with villae maritimae, seaside villas that served both as centres of economic activity and as residences.  

L'une des plus belles villas de la côte slovène fut construite au Ier siècle avant J.-C. à Simonov Zaliv (la baie de Saint-Simon), près d'Izola.
Le domaine comprenait des terres agricoles fertiles, un port bien abrité et un complexe résidentiel situé sur un promontoire offrant une vue magnifique sur les falaises, le large et les sommets alpins.
Ses pièces prestigieuses étaient ornées de mosaïques ; la plupart d'entre elles arboraient, selon la mode de l'époque, des motifs géométriques composés de tesselles de pierre noire et blanche. L'une de ces mosaïques présentait une bordure au motif de guillochis, dont un détail figure sur ce timbre.
La finesse du dessin et la qualité exceptionnelle de l'exécution témoignent aussi bien du savoir-faire de l'artisan que du goût raffiné du commanditaire. Les habitants de la région ont toujours eu connaissance des vestiges de la villa enfouis sous la mer et les champs environnants. Ils furent mentionnés pour la première fois dans des descriptions d'Izola au 16ème siècle, tandis que les premières fouilles eurent lieu il y a un peu plus d'un siècle.
Aujourd'hui, les zones fouillées font partie d'un parc archéologique dont les mosaïques, conservées et mises en valeur, constituent l'une des principales attractions. 
One of the finest villas on the Slovenian coast was built in the first century BC at Simonov Zaliv (St Simon's Bay), near Izola.
Its estate comprised fertile farmland, a well-protected harbour and a residential complex on a promontory commanding magnificent views of the cliffs, the open sea and the Alpine peaks.
Its prestigious rooms were paved with mosaics, most of them decorated, in keeping with the fashion of the day, with geometric designs composed of black and white stone tesserae. One of these mosaics was bordered by a guilloche, a detail of which is depicted on this stamp.
Its refined design and superb workmanship bear witness both to the craftsman's skill and to the sophisticated taste of the person who commissioned it. The local inhabitants have always been aware of the remains of the villa lying beneath the sea and the surrounding fields. They were first mentioned in descriptions of Izola in the sixteenth century, while the first excavations took place just over a century ago.
Today the excavated areas form part of an archaeological park, whose conserved and presented mosaics are among its principal attractions. 

"Sigismund II Augustus 500th birthday" joint stamp with Poland on FDC from Lithuania

Timbre "500 ans de Sigismond II Auguste", commun avec la Pologne, sur FDC de Lituanie 

Après un premier timbre commun émis en 2018 consacré au 300ème anniversaire du couronnement de l'icône de la Mère de Dieu de Trakai (Lituanie), les administrations postales de Pologne et de Lituanie ont mis en circulation, le 1er août 2020, un 2ème timbre commun ayant pour thème le 500ème anniversaire de la naissance de Sigismond II Auguste (1520-1572), grand-duc de Lituanie et roi de Pologne de 1548 à 1572.
La version lituanienne de ce timbre (0,81€, tirage : 30000), conçu par Bożydar Grozdew, figure sur le FDC officiel ci-dessous, avec TAD (monogramme de Sigismond II Auguste) de Vilnius.
Ce timbre reproduit une partie d'une œuvre d'art (1867, Musée national de Varsovie) représentant Sigismond II Auguste et Barbara Radziwiłł, l'amour de sa vie, par Jan Matejko (1838-1893), considéré comme le plus grand peintre historique polonais. 
After a first joint stamp issued in 2018 dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the coronation of the icon of the Mother of God (Our Lady) of Trakai, Lithuania, the postal administrations of Poland and Lithuania put into circulation, on August 1, 2020, a 2nd joint stamp having for theme the 500th anniversary of the birth of Sigismund II Augustus (1520-1572), Grand Duke of Lithuania and King of Poland from 1548 to 1572.
The Lithuanian version of this stamp (€0.81, print run: 30,000), designed by Bożydar Grozdew, appears on the official First Day Cover below, with postmark (Sigismund II Augustus's monogram) from Vilnius.
This stamp reproduces a part of a work of art (1867, National Museum in Warsaw) featuring Sigismund II Augustus and Barbara Radziwiłł, the love of his life, by Jan Matejko (1838-1893), considered as the greatest Polish historical painter. 

Barbara, également née en 1520, est issue de la maison Radziwiłł, l'une des plus anciennes et riches familles lituano-polonaises. Vers 1543, une histoire d'amour se noue entre Barbara et Sigismond II Auguste, fils du roi de Pologne. Les deux amants s'épousent alors secrètement.
En 1548 après la mort de son père, Sigismond devient roi de Pologne et rend public son mariage secret avec Barbara malgré les injonctions de la Diète qui entend casser cette union jugée inégale.
Ce mariage, qui renforce le pouvoir de la déjà très puissante famille Radziwiłł en lutte pour le contrôle du grand-duché de Lituanie, rencontre également une forte opposition de la noblesse polonaise et de la famille royale, le frère de Barbara étant un ardent défenseur de la souveraineté de la Lituanie contre toute union avec la Pologne.
En 1550, Barbara est toutefois couronnée dans la cathédrale du Wawel de Cracovie mais meurt subitement 5 mois plus tard (soupçons d'empoisonnement par la reine mère, Bona Sforza).
Malgré cette fin tragique, l'amour entre Sigismond II Auguste et Barbara est considéré comme un exemple d'amour véritable depuis près de 500 ans et est accompagné de nombreuses histoires romantiques, de nombreuses œuvres ayant été écrites sur ce thème.
Barbara, also born in 1520, hailed from the House of Radziwiłł, one of the oldest and wealthiest Lithuanian-Polish families. Around 1543, a romance blossomed between Barbara and Sigismund II Augustus, son of the King of Poland; the two lovers subsequently married in secret.
In 1548, following his father's death, Sigismund became King of Poland and made his secret marriage to Barbara public, defying the Diet, which sought to annul the union on the grounds that it was a marriage between unequals.
The marriage—which bolstered the power of the already formidable Radziwiłł family as they vied for control of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania—faced fierce opposition from the Polish nobility and the royal family; notably, Barbara’s brother was a staunch defender of Lithuanian sovereignty and opposed any union with Poland.
Nevertheless, in 1550, Barbara was crowned in Kraków’s Wawel Cathedral, only to die suddenly five months later—amidst suspicions that she had been poisoned by the Queen Mother, Bona Sforza.
Despite this tragic end, the love between Sigismund II Augustus and Barbara has been regarded as a model of true love for nearly five centuries, inspiring numerous romantic tales and a wealth of literary works.

A noter que ce timbre ne comporte ni l'emblème de la FIP ni le logo officiel de ce 100ème anniversaire, mais une composition autour du nombre 100 (globes terrestres).
L'exposition philatélique internationale Boston 2026 World Expo s'est tenue du 23 au 30 mai 2026, et divers timbres et documents liés à Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon y ont été exposés (en particulier par Jean-Louis Desdouets, Loïc Detcheverry et Jean-Jacques Tillard), d'où probablement cette mention "Boston 2026" sur le timbre.

This stamp (€2.25; print run: 15,000), designed by Nathalie Detcheverry, was used on the cover above, with associated First Day cancellation.
It is worth noting that the stamp features neither the FIP emblem nor the official 100th-anniversary logo; instead, it displays a design centered on the number 100 (incorporating globes).
The Boston 2026 World Expo international philatelic exhibition took place from May 23 to 30, 2026, and various stamps and items related to Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon were displayed there (notably by Jean-Louis Desdouets, Loïc Detcheverry, and Jean-Jacques Tillard)—which likely explains the "Boston 2026" inscription on the stamp. 

"International Cat Day 2026" stamp set on FDC from Thailand

Série "Journée internationale du chat 2026" sur FDC de Thaïlande 

La Journée internationale du chat est célébrée chaque année le 8 août. Créée en 2002 par le Fonds international pour la protection des animaux (IFAW), cette journée a pour objectif de sensibiliser le public à la protection, au bien-être et aux droits des félins et vise à encourager l'adoption en refuge et une meilleure compréhension des besoins des animaux.
A l'occasion de cette Journée internationale du chat, la poste thaïlandaise a mis en circulation, le 8 août 2026 (2026 correspondant à l'année 2569 dans le calendrier bouddhiste), une jolie série (4 timbres) illustrant 4 des 5 races autochtones de chats officiellement reconnues comme patrimoine animalier national.
Les chats thaïlandais (environ 4,3 millions recensés) constituent en effet une part importante du patrimoine culturel de la Thaïlande, reflétant le lien étroit qui unit les thaïlandais à leurs animaux de compagnie.
Ces 4 timbres (5 THB, conception : Peachravut Pisutsak, tirage : 150000), imprimés chacun en feuillet de 10 timbres, ont été utilisés (certains en 2 exemplaires) sur la lettre ci-dessous avec TAD Premier Jour de Bangkok. Merci beaucoup Prachayakron! 
International Cat Day is celebrated annually on August 8th. Established in 2002 by the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), this day aims to raise public awareness regarding the protection, welfare, and rights of felines, while encouraging shelter adoption and a better understanding of the animals' needs.
To mark International Cat Day, Thailand Post issued a lovely set of four stamps on August 8, 2026 (2026 corresponding to the year 2569 in the Buddhist calendar); these stamps depict four of the five native cat breeds officially recognized as part of the nation's animal heritage. 
Thai cats—numbering approximately 4.3 million—indeed represent a significant part of Thailand's cultural heritage, reflecting the close bond between the Thai people and their pets.
These four stamps (5 THB; design: Peachravut Pisutsak; print run: 150,000), each printed in sheetlet of ten, have been used (with two copies of some) on the cover below, with First Day cancellations from Bangkok. Many thanks, Prachayakron!  

Parmi les races de chats ci-dessus, le Wichien Maat (Siamois), au pelage couleur crème et extrémités sombres. Présents en Thaïlande depuis plusieurs siècles, ils étaient historiquement vénérés dans les temples et réservés à la famille royale. Ils sont fusionnels avec leur maître et réclament beaucoup d'attention.
On trouve également le Suphalak (pelage marron cuivré et yeux couleur ambre), mentionné dans les anciens manuscrits thaïlandais sur les chats (le Tamra Maew). Ils ont frôlé l'extinction avant d'être sauvés par des programmes de préservation. Extrêmement affectueux, actifs et joueurs, ils adorent suivre les humains partout et agissent parfois comme de vrais "chats-chiens".
Puis le Korat (Si Sawat), au pelage gris argenté et yeux verts, originaire de la province thaïlandaise de Nakhon Ratchasima. Ils symbolisent traditionnellement la chance, la prospérité et de bonnes récoltes. Doux, observateurs et très intelligents, ils sont attachés à leur calme et se montrent profondément fidèles à leur foyer.
Le 4ème timbre montre un Khao Manee (pelage blanc pur et yeux vairons). Surnommés les "Joyaux Blancs", ils étaient jalousement gardés par le roi Rama V qui les considérait comme le trésor ultime du royaume de Siam. Très sociables, communicatifs et dynamiques, ils accueillent volontiers les visiteurs et s'adaptent facilement à la vie de famille.
Among the cat breeds listed above is the Wichien Maat (Siamese), featuring a cream-colored coat and dark points. Present in Thailand for centuries, they were historically revered in temples and reserved for the royal family. They form incredibly close bonds with their owners and demand a great deal of attention.
There is also the Suphalak (copper-brown coat and amber eyes), mentioned in ancient Thai cat manuscripts (the *Tamra Maew*). They nearly went extinct before being saved by preservation programs. Extremely affectionate, active, and playful, they love following humans around and sometimes act just like "dog-cats".
Then there is the Korat (Si Sawat), with its silver-gray coat and green eyes, originating from the Thai province of Nakhon Ratchasima. They traditionally symbolize good luck, prosperity, and bountiful harvests. Gentle, observant, and highly intelligent, they value tranquility and are deeply loyal to their households.
The fourth stamp features a Khao Manee (pure white coat and odd-colored eyes). Nicknamed "White Jewels," they were jealously guarded by King Rama V, who considered them the ultimate treasure of the Kingdom of Siam. Highly sociable, communicative, and energetic, they readily welcome visitors and adapt easily to family life.

Prachayakron also used eight other stamps (3 THB and 5 THB) on the back of his envelope above; these are part of a definitive series (four different stamps, designed by Mayuree Narknisorn) issued on August 8, 2025, depicting various types of traditional tricycles—such as classic *samlors* or motorized *tuk-tuks*—that are iconic symbols of Thai culture and street life. 

"History of France - Matignon Agreements (1936)" souvenir sheet on FDC from France

Bloc-feuillet "Histoire de France - Accords de Matignon (1936)" sur FDC de France 

La poste française a mis en circulation, le 15 juin 2026 (vente générale), le 15ème bloc-feuillet de sa série intitulée "Les grandes heures de l'histoire de France", consacré cette année au 90ème anniversaire de la signature des Accords de Matignon (1936).
La vente anticipée de ce nouveau bloc-feuillet (tirage : 200000), créé et gravé par l'artiste-graveur Nicolas Bical (né en 1989), avait lieu le 11 juin 2026 dans le cadre du Salon Philatélique ParisPhilex 2026 organisé à Paris du 11 au 14 juin 2026.
Ce bloc-feuillet, composé de 2 timbres (4,85€ chacun), figure sur le pli Premier Jour ci-dessous avec TAD de Paris (conçu par Nicolas Bical) représentant la façade de l'Hôtel de Matignon, résidence actuelle du Premier Ministre à Paris, où ces Accords historiques ont été signés dans la nuit du 7 au 8 juin 1936, sous l'arbitrage du gouvernement de Léon Blum, entre la CGT (syndicat des salariés) et le patronat.
Dans le contexte de la victoire du Front populaire (partis de gauche) lors des élections législatives en mai 1936, un immense mouvement de grèves avec occupation d'usines se répand partout en France pour pousser le gouvernement à agir. Affolé par l'occupation des lieux, le patronat accepte alors de négocier directement avec les syndicats. 
On June 15, 2026 (general sale), the French Post has put into circulation the 15th souvenir sheet in its series entitled "Les grandes heures de l'histoire de France" ("Great Moments in French History") dedicated this year to the 90th anniversary of the signing of the Matignon Agreements (1936).
The preview sale of this new souvenir sheet (print run: 200,000)—designed and engraved by artist-engraver Nicolas Bical (born in 1989)—took place on June 11, 2026, at the ParisPhilex 2026 philatelic exhibition, held in Paris from June 11 to 14, 2026.
This souvenir sheet, comprising two stamps (€4.85 each), was used on the First Day Cover below. It features a First Day postmark (designed by Nicolas Bical) depicting the façade of the Hôtel de Matignon—the current residence of the Prime Minister in Paris. It was here that these historic agreements were signed during the night of June 7–8, 1936, under the mediation of Léon Blum's government, between the CGT (a labor union) and employers' representatives.
Following the Popular Front's (left-wing parties) victory in the May 1936 legislative elections, a massive wave of strikes involving factory occupations swept across France, pressuring the government to take action. Alarmed by the occupations, employers agreed to negotiate directly with the unions.  

Ces accords comportent une augmentation générale des salaires de 7% à 15%, en particulier pour les plus faibles, la reconnaissance totale de la liberté syndicale et l'interdiction pour le patronat de discriminer un salarié selon qu'il est syndiqué ou non, la création de délégués élus dans les entreprises de plus de 10 salariés pour porter les réclamations ainsi qu'un engagement des syndicats à faire évacuer les usines et la promesse patronale de ne prendre aucune sanction pour faits de grève.
Bien qu'ils ne contiennent pas directement les célèbres lois sur les congés payés et la semaine de 40 heures, ces Accords de Matignon ouvrent la voie à leur vote rapide par le Parlement quelques jours plus tard. 
Le timbre à gauche ainsi que le fond du bloc-feuillet ont été conçus à partir d'une photographie montrant Léon Blum lors de la manifestation du 24 mai 1936 au Mur des Fédérés (cimetière du Père-Lachaise à Paris, symbole de la lutte pour la liberté, la nation et les idéaux des communards) qui a rassemblé 600000 personnes. 
Cette journée a accéléré la généralisation des grèves ouvrières dans la métallurgie parisienne et le reste du pays, menant directement à ces Accords de Matignon et aux grandes réformes sociales du Front populaire.
L'autre timbre du bloc-feuillet illustre ces français (un couple en vélo ici) qui ont pu profiter de ces Accords de Matignon pour partir en vacances. 
These agreements included a general wage increase of 7% to 15%—particularly for the lowest earners—full recognition of trade union freedom and a ban on employers discriminating against workers based on union membership, the creation of elected workplace representatives in companies with more than ten employees to voice grievances, and a union commitment to clear the factories alongside an employer pledge not to impose sanctions for strike actions.
Although they did not directly contain the famous laws on paid leave and the 40-hour workweek, the Matignon Agreements paved the way for their rapid passage by Parliament just days later.
The stamp on the left and the background of the souvenir sheet were designed using a photograph of Léon Blum at the demonstration held on May 24, 1936, at the *Mur des Fédérés* (Wall of the Federates)—located in Paris's Père Lachaise Cemetery and a symbol of the struggle for liberty, the nation, and the ideals of the Communards—which drew a crowd of 600,000 people.
That day accelerated the spread of workers' strikes across the Parisian metalworking industry and the rest of the country, leading directly to these Matignon Agreements and the major social reforms of the Popular Front.
The other stamp on the souvenir sheet depicts French people—in this case, a couple on bicycles—who were able to take advantage of the Matignon Agreements to go on vacation.
