"80 years since the birth of illustrator Eva Hašková" postmark on cover from Czech Republic

TAD "80 ans de la naissance de l'illustratrice Eva Hašková" sur lettre de République tchèque 

Depuis 1996, l'artiste graphique et illustratrice Eva Hašková a conçu 32 timbres (sauf omission) pour la poste tchèque (en particulier le timbre EUROPA 2012), révélant ainsi son énorme talent au plus grand nombre.
Mais Eva Hašková, née le 4 janvier 1946 à Kladno, diplômée de l'Académie des Arts, de l'Architecture et du Design de Prague, est aussi une grande illustratrice, une grande partie de son travail étant réalisée en utilisant un procédé en taille-douce combinant gravure et aquatinte.
Membre de l'association des graphistes tchèques Hollar (SČUG Hollar), elle a reçu de nombreux prix pour son travail au cours de sa carrière et a beaucoup exposé ses œuvres tant en République tchèque qu'à l'étranger. 
Le 4 janvier 2026, la poste tchèque a mis en circulation un TAD spécial (conception : Jan Maget) consacré au 80ème anniversaire (jour pour jour) de la naissance d'Eva Hašková. 
Since 1996, the graphic artist and illustrator Eva Hašková has designed a total of 32 stamps for the Czech Post (in particular the EUROPA 2012 stamp), revealing her talent to the greatest number.
But Eva Hašková, born on January 4, 1946 in Kladno, a graduate of the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, is also a great illustrator, much of her work being done using an intaglio process combining etching and aquatint.
A member of the Association of Czech Graphic Designers Hollar (SČUG Hollar), she has received numerous awards for her work during her career and has exhibited extensively both in Czech Republic and abroad.
On January 4, 2026, the Czech Post issued a special postmark (design: Jan Maget) dedicated to the 80th anniversary (day to day) of the birth of Eva Hašková.

Ce TAD, représentant une illustration de son chien Bob, a été appliqué par le bureau postal de Prague 012, sur la jolie lettre ci-dessus. Merci beaucoup Slavek ! 
Slavek a utilisé le timbre EUROPA (20 CZK) émis le 2 mai 2012 et conçu par Eva Hašková (gravé par Bohumil Šneider), en 2 exemplaires, illustrant cette année-là le thème "Visitez...", évoquant deux monuments emblématiques de la capitale tchèque : la tour du pont de la vieille ville à gauche et la Maison dansante ("Tančící dům") à droite. 
La tour du pont de la vieille ville, considérée comme un des édifices gothiques les plus beaux d'Europe, a été construite à la fin du 14ème siècle sur la rive droite de la rivière Vltava, servant de porte d'entrée au célèbre Pont Charles.
La Maison dansante a été la première construction à Prague, après la révolution de velours, conçue par de grands architectes internationaux (Vlado Milunić et Frank O. Gehry). Achevée en 1996, ce symbole de l'architecture déconstructiviste a été surnommé "Ginger et Fred" car ses 2 tours évoque une célèbre danse de Fred Astair et Ginger Rogers...
Abritant des bureaux, un café et un restaurant, cet édifice audacieux a suscité de nombreuses polémiques lors de sa construction.

Slavek used two copies of the EUROPA stamp (20 CZK) issued on May 2, 2012, designed by Eva Hašková (engraved by Bohumil Šneider). That year's stamp illustrated the theme "Visit..." and featured two iconic landmarks of the Czech capital: the Old Town Bridge Tower on the left and the Dancing House ("Tančící dům") on the right. 
The Old Town Bridge Tower, considered as one of the most beautiful Gothic buildings in Europe, was built in the late 14th century on the right bank of the Vltava River, serving as a gateway to the famous Charles Bridge. 
The Dancing House was the first one built in Prague after the Velvet Revolution, designed by leading international architects (Vlado Milunić et Frank O. Gehry). Completed in 1996, this symbol of deconstructivist architecture has been nicknamed "Ginger and Fred" because its two corner towers evoke a famous dance of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers...
Housing offices, a cafe and a restaurant, this bold building sparked much controversy during its construction... 

EUROPA 2012 (Visit...) stamp on cover from Faroe Islands

Timbre EUROPA 2012 (Visitez...) sur lettre des îles Féroé 

Pour rappel, le thème EUROPA choisi par l'organisation PostEurop en 2012 était "Visitez..." et a donné lieu à de plutôt jolies séries de timbres donnant envie de voyager ! 
Le 30 avril 2012, la poste des îles Féroé (Posta) a mis en circulation  une jolie série EUROPA (2 timbres) illustrant ce thème et en particulier un petit aperçu de ce que vous réservent des vacances actives aux îles Féroé : randonnées dans les paysages magnifiques et balades en mer.
Un de ces 2 timbres EUROPA (6,50 DKK, conçu à partir d'une photographie de Eyðbjørn Jacobsen) a été utilisé sur cette lettre officielle de la poste féroïenne (malgré la mention PP - Port Payé) envoyée le 11 septembre 2025 depuis Tórshavn, la capitale.
Ce timbre montre des touristes sur un bateau au large de Suðuroy, l'île la plus méridionale des îles Féroé. On y voit en particulier à gauche Beinisvørð, une falaise de 469 mètres de haut, la plus haute falaise de Suðuroy. 
As a reminder, the EUROPA theme chosen by PostEurop in 2012 was "Visit..." and resulted in some rather lovely stamp series that inspired wanderlust!
On April 30, 2012, the Faroe Islands postal service (Posta) issued a charming EUROPA series (2 stamps) illustrating this theme and, in particular, offering a glimpse of what an active holiday in the Faroe Islands has to offer: hiking through magnificent landscapes and boat trips.
One of these two EUROPA stamps (6.50 DKK, designed from a photograph by Eyðbjørn Jacobsen) was used on this official Faroese postal cover (despite the "PP - Postage Paid" marking) sent on September 11, 2025, from Tórshavn, the capital.
This stamp depicts tourists on a boat off the coast of Suðuroy, the southernmost island of the Faroe Islands. In particular, on the left you can see Beinisvørð, a cliff 469 meters high, the highest cliff in Suðuroy.  

Beinisvørð présente des falaises abruptes surplombant la mer et un versant verdoyant descendant vers le village de Sumba. Autrefois, les hommes de Sumba descendaient en rappel les pentes abruptes de Beinisvørð à l'aide de cordes à oiseaux (une technique appelée "síging" : un homme est suspendu à une corde épaisse, tandis que plusieurs autres la tiennent en haut) afin de capturer des oiseaux marins et de ramasser leurs œufs. Ces oiseaux et leurs œufs constituaient une source de nourriture importante pour les habitants de Sumba.
Au moins deux poètes féroïens célèbres ont mentionné Beinisvørð dans leurs poèmes. Poul F. Joensen (1898-1970) l'évoquait souvent comme l'esprit protecteur du pays. Hanus G. Johansen, chanteur et compositeur, a mis en musique plusieurs de ces poèmes, qui sont ensuite devenus très populaires et connus de tous les Féroïens, quel que soit leur âge. Janus Djurhuus (1881-1948) l'utilise comme symbole de l'indépendance féroïenne dans "Heimferð Nólsoyar Páls".
Beinisvørð features steep cliffs overlooking the sea and a verdant slope descending towards the village of Sumba. Men from Sumba used to rappel down the steep mountain side of Beinisvørð on bird lines (it is called "síging"; one man hangs on a thick rope, while several men hold it at the top) in order to catch sea birds and to collect eggs. Both birds and their eggs were important food for the people of Sumba in the past.
At least two famous Faroese poets have mentioned Beinisvørð in their poems. Poul F. Joensen (1898-1970) often referred to it as the guardian spirit of the country. Hanus G. Johansen, a singer and composer, set several of these poems to music, which subsequently became very popular and known to all Faroese, regardless of age. Janus Djurhuus (1881-1948) uses it as a symbol of Faroese independence in "Heimferð Nólsoyar Páls".

Dans le cadre de la foire internationale des collectionneurs "Sběratel" organisée à Prague du 10 au 11 septembre 2021, la poste tchèque a mis en circulation un entier postal rendant hommage au joueur tchécoslovaque de tennis Jan Kodeš (né en 1946).
Un grand merci Slavek et Maxim pour l'envoi de cet entier postal (tarif permanent "B" pour un envoi domestique standard jusqu'à 50g en mode économique - 19 CZK, prix de vente : 24 CZK, tirage : 2800) depuis cette foire "Sběratel" le 11 septembre 2021 !
Le timbre pré-imprimé (conception : Zdeněk Netopil) représente une boîte aux lettres historique, de couleur bleue, utilisée entre la 2ème moitié du 19ème siècle et le milieu du 20ème siècle, la partie gauche de l'entier postal incluant un portrait de Jan Kodeš.

The pre-printed stamp (design: Zdeněk Netopil) depicts a historic mailbox, blue in color, used between the 2nd half of the 19th century and the middle of the 20th century, the left part of the postal stationery including a portrait of Jan Kodeš.

 

Le TAD spécial "raquette et balle de tennis" (conception : Double Impact) rappelle que Jan Kodeš a remporté le tournoi de Roland-Garros à 2 reprises, en 1970 (victoire en finale contre Željko Franulović) et 1971 (victoire en finale contre Ilie Năstase).
Jan Kodeš a également remporté le tournoi de Wimbledon en 1973 et a été finaliste de l'US Open en 1971 et 1973. 
En 1973, Jan Kodeš, joueur professionnel entre 1966 et 1982, a atteint son meilleur classement à l'ATP (n° 5 mondial). Au cours de sa carrière, il totalise 420 victoires en simple, pour 244 défaites.
Il a été capitaine et le joueur le plus capé de l'équipe de Tchécoslovaquie de Coupe Davis entre 1982 et 1987 et est membre du International Tennis Hall of Fame depuis 1990.
A noter sur l'entier postal ci-dessus, la signature de Jan Kodeš qui était présent ce jour-là à cette foire internationale des collectionneurs "Sběratel".

The special "tennis racket and ball" postmark (design: Double Impact) reminds us that Jan Kodeš won the Roland Garros tournament twice, in 1970 (victory in the final against Željko Franulović) and 1971 (victory in the final against Ilie Năstase).

Jan Kodeš also won the Wimbledon tournament in 1973 and was a US Open runner-up in 1971 and 1973.

Le TAD spécial "fusée" (conception : Double Impact) comporte la mention "45 ans des cosmonautes Vladimír Remek et Oldřich Pelčák" en référence au programme Intercosmos que ces 2 hommes ont intégré en 1976.
Intercosmos est le nom du programme spatial soviétique visant à promouvoir la coopération internationale dans le domaine spatial à des fins pacifiques, principalement avec des pays européens du bloc de l'Est.
Vladimír Remek (né en 1948) effectue une unique mission à bord de Soyouz 28 (avec le soviétique Aleksei Gubarev), le 2 mars 1978, devenant la première personne non originaire de l'URSS ou des États-Unis à aller dans l'espace. D'après l'Agence spatiale européenne, ce vol représente l'entrée de l'Europe dans le vol spatial humain.
Lors de ce programme Intercosmos, Oldřich Pelčák (né en 1943) fut la doublure de Vladimír Remek.
The special "rocket" postmark (design: Double Impact) includes the mention "45 years of cosmonauts Vladimír Remek and Oldřich Pelčák" in reference to the Intercosmos program that these 2 men joined in 1976.
Intercosmos is the name of the Soviet space program aimed at promoting international cooperation in the space field for peaceful purposes, mainly with European countries of the Eastern Bloc.
Vladimír Remek (born 1948) carried out a single mission aboard Soyuz 28 (with the Soviet Aleksei Gubarev), on March 2, 1978, becoming the first person from outside the USSR or the United States to go into space. According to the European Space Agency, this flight represents the entry of Europe into human space flight.
During this Intercosmos program, Oldřich Pelčák (born 1943) was the backup of Vladimír Remek.

"World Tourism Day 2020" postmark on cover from Moldova

TAD "Journée mondiale du tourisme 2020" sur lettre de Moldavie

L'Organisation mondiale du tourisme (OMT) a institué en 1980 une Journée mondiale du tourisme, célébrée depuis, chaque année le 27 septembre.
Le principal objectif de cette Journée mondiale du tourisme est de faire prendre davantage conscience à la communauté internationale de l'importance du tourisme et de sa valeur sociale, culturelle, politique et économique.
La Journée mondiale du tourisme 2020, qui a pour thème "Le tourisme et le développement rural", est une occasion de rappeler que le tourisme donne aux populations rurales les moyens de protéger et de promouvoir leur cadre naturel, leur culture et leur patrimoine.
Comme en 2017 et 2018, la poste moldave a mis en circulation, le 27 septembre 2020, un TAD spécial consacré à cette Journée mondiale du tourisme ("Ziua Mondială a Turismului").
The World Tourism Organization (WTO) set up a World Tourism Day in 1980, celebrated every year since, on September 27th.
The main objective of this World Tourism Day is to raise awareness in the international community of the importance of tourism and its social, cultural, political and economic value.
World Tourism Day 2020, having for theme "Tourism and Rural Development", is an opportunity to remind us that tourism gives rural communities the ability to protect and promote their natural surroundings, as well as their culture and heritage.
 As in 2017 and 2018, the Post of Moldova has put into circulation, on September 27, 2020, a special postmark dedicated to this World Tourism Day ("Ziua Mondială a Turismului").  

 

Ce TAD (conception : Eugeniu Verebceanu) représentant 3 personnages stylisés dont un tenant un globe terrestre, a été appliqué sur la lettre ci-dessus, envoyée de Chişinău (MD-2000). Merci beacuoup Nicolae ! 
Cette lettre a été affranchie les 2 timbres EUROPA 2012 (émission le 18 avril) ayant pour thème "Visitez...", consacrés au splendide monastère de Curchi (4,20 L) datant du 18ème et 19ème siècle, et au complexe viticole "Mileştii Mici" (5,40 L), un des symboles de l'économie viticole moldave.
A noter cette vignette attenante consacrée à la route touristique des vins moldaves (vignette présente uniquement dans le carnet émis pour cette série), avec en particulier les complexes viticoles de Cricova, Mileştii Mici, Romanești et Purcari. 

Pour rappel, le festival du vin, qui a lieu chaque année depuis 20 ans au mois d'octobre dans le centre de Chişinău, est un rendez-vous important pour l'économie et le tourisme dans le pays.

This postmark (design: Eugeniu Verebceanu) representing 3 stylized figures including one holding a terrestrial globe, has been applied to the above letter, sent from Chişinău (MD-2000). Thank you so much Nicolae!

This letter has been franked with the two EUROPA 2012 stamps (issued on April 18) illustrating the theme "Visit ...", dedicated to the splendid Curchi monastery (4.20 L) dating from the 18th and 19th century, and to the "Mileştii Mici" wine complex (5.40 L), one of the symbols of the Moldovan wine economy.

To note this adjoining label devoted to the Moldovan wine tourist route (a label present only in the booklet issued for this series), with in particular the wine complexes of Cricova, Mileştii Mici, Romanești and Purcari.

As a reminder, the wine festival, which has taken place every year for 20 years in October in the center of Chişinău, is an important meeting for the economy and tourism in the country.

Ces 2 timbres font partie d'une série (6 timbres) émise le 16 décembre 1997, consacrée à la protection de sites architecturaux, la cathédrale Saints Constantin et Elena, de style néo-byzantin, consacrée en 1935 dans la ville de Bălți (0,10 L) et la cathédrale Saint Archange Michel, consacrée en 1837 dans la ville de Cahul (1,30 L) ici.

Nicolae completed his postage, to reach the current rate for a priority shipment up to 20g to France (L 11 currently) with 2 other stamps on the back of this envelope above. 

These two stamps are part of a series (6 stamps) issued on December 16, 1997, devoted to architectural conservation, to the Saint Constantine and Elena Cathedral, of Neo-Byzantine style, consecrated in 1935 in the city of Bălţi (0.10 L) and to the Saint Archangel Michael Cathedral, consecrated in 1837 in the city of Cahul (1.30 L) here.

 

"94th ALAI Congress in Prague" postmark on cover from Czech Republic

Je dois admettre que je ne connaissais pas l'Association Littéraire et Artistique Internationale (ALAI), créée en 1878 par Victor Hugo, une société savante et indépendante qui se destine à l'étude et à la discussion des problèmes juridiques découlant de la protection des intérêts de l'individu créateur.
Cette association vise en particulier à défendre les droits des auteurs et des artistes, qui participent aujourd'hui à la protection des droits fondamentaux de l'homme tels qu'ils sont reconnus par plusieurs instruments internationaux.
Du 18 au 20 septembre 2019, le 94ème congrès de l'ALAI était organisé dans le Grandior Hotel de Prague, où un bureau postal temporaire délivrait, le 19 septembre 2019, un TAD spécial.
I must admit that I did not know what the International Literary and Artistic Association (ALAI) was, an independent learned society, founded in 1878 by Victor Hugo, dedicated to studying and discussing legal issues arising in connection with the protection of the interests of creative individuals.
This association aims in particular to defend the rights of authors and artists, who today participate in the protection of fundamental human rights as recognized by several international conventions.
From 18 to 20 September 2019, the 94th ALAI Congress was held in the Grandior Hotel in Prague, where a temporary post office issued a special postmark on September 19, 2019.

Ce congrès avait en particulier pour thème la gestion des droits d'auteur, notamment ceux basés sur le blockchain, les big data, les problèmes et le géoblocage transfrontaliers...
Le timbre à droite (20 CZK), émis le 2 mai 2012, est le timbre EUROPA illustrant cette année-là le thème "Visitez...", évoquant deux monuments emblématiques de la capitale tchèque : la tour du pont de la vieille ville à gauche et la Maison dansante ("Tančící dům" en tchèque) à droite.

The stamp on the right (20 CZK), issued on May 2, 2012, is the EUROPA stamp illustrating the theme "Visit ..." that year, evoking two emblematic monuments of the Czech capital: the Old Town Bridge Tower to the left and the Dancing House ("Tančící dům" in Czech) on the right.

Bloc-feuillet EUROPA 2012 (Visitez...) sur lettre de Guernesey

Pour rappel, le thème EUROPA choisi par l'organisation PostEurop en 2012 était "Visitez..." et a donné lieu à de plutôt jolies séries de timbres donnant envie de voyager !
Le 1er mai 2012, la poste de Guernsey a mis en circulation une jolie série de 6 timbres (dont 2 incluant le logo EUROPA) permettant de découvrir la diversité des paysages du bailliage de Guernesey, dépendance de la Couronne britannique dans la Manche au large des côtes françaises.
Avec l'île principale de Guernesey, ce bailliage inclut également les îles d'Aurigny (Alderney), Sercq (Sark), Herm ainsi que d'autres petites îles.
Les 6 timbres de cette série, conçus par Mark Totty à partir de photographies de Karl Taylor, ont été également imprimés (en France par Cartor Security Printing) dans le joli bloc-feuillet utilisé pour affranchir la lettre ci-dessous envoyée de Guernesey le 1er avril 2019.
As a reminder, the EUROPA theme chosen by the organization PostEurop in 2012 was "Visit..." and gave rise to rather nice series of stamps making you want to travel! 
On May 1, 2012, the Guernsey Post issued a nice series of 6 stamps (two of which including the EUROPA logo) to discover the diverse landscapes of the Bailiwick of Guernsey, this British Crown's dependency on the Channel off the French coast.
Along with the main island of Guernsey, this bailiwick also includes the islands of Alderney, Sark, Herm and other small islands.
The 6 stamps in this series, designed by Mark Totty from photographs by Karl Taylor, were also printed (in France by Cartor Security Printing) in the beautiful souvenir sheet used to stamp the letter below sent from Guernsey on April 1, 2019.

Ces 6 timbres illustrent différents endroits situés sur les îles de Guernesey, Aurigny, Sercq et Herm, en particulier 4 sites côtiers constitués de plages : Vazon Bay à Guernesey (tarif "Lettre domestique" - 48p), Grande Greve à Sercq (EUROPA, tarif "Lettre Royaume-Uni" - 65p), Shell beach à Herm (tarif "Lettre large domestique" - 66p) et Bluestone Bay à Aurigny (EUROPA, tarif "Lettre internationale 20g" - 90p).
Les 2 autres timbres de cette série montrent un voilier au large de l'île d'Herm (tarif "Lettre large Royaume-Uni" - 98p) et "La Coupée", un isthme de 3 mètres de large dans sa partie supérieure, bordés des deux côtés par un à pic d'une centaine de mètres, reliant les 2 parties de l'île de Sercq appelées petite Sercq et grande Sercq (tarif "Lettre internationale 40g").
A noter que ce tarif "Lettre internationale 40g" n'existe plus actuellement à Guernesey mais uniquement des tarifs "Lettre Europe 20g à 100g" et "Lettre Monde 20g à 100g".
These 6 stamps illustrate different locations on the islands of Guernsey, Alderney, Sark and Herm, in particular 4 coastal sites consisting of beaches: Vazon Bay in Guernsey ("Domestic Letter" - 48p), Grande Greve in Sark (EUROPA, "UK Letter" - 65p), Shell Beach in Herm ("Domestic Large Letter" - 66p) and Bluestone Bay in Alderney (EUROPA, "International Letter 20g" - 90p).
The other two stamps of this series show a sailboat off the island of Herm ("UK Large Letter" - 98p) and "La Coupée", an 3 meters wide isthmus in its upper part, bordered on both sides by a peak of a hundred meters, connecting the 2 parts of the island of Sercq called Little Sark and Greater Sark ("International letter 40g").
To note that this "International Letter 40g" rate no longer exists today in Guernsey but only the "Letter Europe 20g to 100g" and "Letter World 20g to 100g" rates.

L'Organisation mondiale du tourisme (OMT) a institué en 1980 une Journée mondiale du tourisme, célébrée depuis, chaque année le 27 septembre.
Le principal objectif de cette Journée mondiale du tourisme est de faire prendre davantage conscience à la communauté internationale de l'importance du tourisme et de sa valeur sociale, culturelle, politique et économique.
La Journée mondiale du tourisme 2018, qui a pour thème "Le tourisme et la transformation numérique", est une occasion de faire mieux connaître la contribution potentielle des technologies numériques au développement du tourisme durable, plus responsable et inclusif, en particulier.
Comme en 2017, la poste moldave a mis en circulation, le 27 septembre 2018, un TAD spécial consacré à cette Journée mondiale du tourisme ("Ziua Mondială a Turismului").
The World Tourism Organization (WTO) set up a World Tourism Day in 1980, celebrated every year since, on September 27th.
The main objective of this World Tourism Day is to raise awareness in the international community of the importance of tourism and its social, cultural, political and economic value.
World Tourism Day 2018, having for theme "Tourism and the Digital Transformation", is an opportunity to raise awareness of the potential contribution of digital technologies to the development of sustainable, more responsible and inclusive tourism, in particular.
As in 2017, the Post of Moldova has put into circulation, on September 27, 2018, a special postmark dedicated to this World Tourism Day ("Ziua Mondială a Turismului").

Ce TAD (conception : Lilian Iațco) représentant le symbole de l'arbre de vie sur fond de globe terrestre, a été appliqué sur la carte ci-dessus, envoyée de Chişinău (MD-2012). Merci beacuoup Nicolae !
Cet arbre de vie stylisé est l'emblème du site Moldova Travel, consacré au tourisme en Moldavie, à travers le slogan "Moldavie, découvrez les routes de la vie".
Cette carte a été affranchie en partie avec un des 2 timbres EUROPA 2012 (4,20 L, émis le 18 avril) ayant pour thème "Visitez...", consacré au splendide monastère de Curchi ici. A noter cette vignette attenante consacrée à la route touristique des monastères moldaves (vignette présente uniquement dans le carnet émis pour cette série).
Les 3 timbres à 2,50 roubles ci-dessus (puis 2,50 L depuis le 1er février 2006) font partie d'une série de 4 timbres (conception : Pál Varga), émise le 20 juillet 1992, représentant un même motif d'avion supersonique, avec des couleurs différentes.
This postmark (design: Lilian Iaţco) representing the symbol of the tree of life on a globe background, was applied on the postcard above, sent from Chişinău (MD-2012). Thank you very much Nicolae!
This stylized tree of life is the emblem of the Moldova Travel website, dedicated to tourism in Moldova, through the slogan "Moldova, discover the routes of life".
This card has been franked in part with one of the two EUROPA 2012 stamps (L 4.20, issued on April 18) about the theme "Visit ...", dedicated to the splendid monastery of Curchi here. To note this attached label dedicated to the tourist route of the Moldovan monasteries (a label only present in the booklet issued with this series).
The 3 stamps at 2.50 rubles above (then 2.50 L since February 1, 2006) are part of a series of 4 stamps (design: Pál Varga), issued on July 20, 1992, representing the same motif of supersonic aircraft, with different colors.

L'autre côté de cette carte ci-dessus (n° 39/2018, conception : Corina Levco, tirage : 1000) évoque une des composantes majeures du tourisme en Moldavie, celle de la vigne et du vin.
Cette carte rappelle que la Moldavie a été désignée "Capitale mondiale du tourisme vitivinicole 2018".
Cette carte montre une vue des vignobles du domaine viticole de Purcari (sud-est de la Moldavie), un des principaux sites de production de vin du pays, avec Cricova et Mileştii Mici évoqués à travers les illustrations dans la partie inférieure.
The other side of this card above (No 39/2018, design: Corina Levco, print run: 1,000) evokes one of the major components of tourism in Moldova, vine and wine.
This card reminds that Moldova has been designated "World Capital of Wine Tourism 2018".
This card shows a view of the vineyards of the Purcari wine estate (south-east of Moldova), one of the country's main wine producing sites, with Cricova and Mileştii Mici featured on the illustrations at the bottom. 

Curchi Monastery 245th Anniversary - Special postmark from Moldova

245ème anniversaire du monastère de Curchi - TAD spécial en Moldavie

Selon certaines légendes, le monastère de Curchi aurait été fondé par Étienne le Grand au 15ème siècle mais la version la plus plausible reste que ce monastère a été fondé en 1773 par les frères Iordache et Mihail Curchi.
Ce monastère orthodoxe de Curchi dédié à "La Nativité de Notre-Dame", d'une rare beauté en raison des vergers et des forêts environnantes, est l'un des monuments les plus importants de l'architecture moldave en Bessarabie. Il est situé dans le raion d'Orhei, dans la vallée de Vaticiu, à 55 km au nord de Chișinău, la capitale.
Restauré entre 2002 et 2015, ce complexe architectural est composé de cinq églises, de deux caves, d'une forteresse, de plusieurs pièces auxiliaires, d'un verger et d'un ermitage (30 moines y vivent).
According to some legends, the monastery of Curchi was founded by Stephen the Great in the 15th century but the most plausible version remains that this monastery was founded in 1773 by brothers Iordache and Mihail Curchi.
This orthodox monastery of Curchi dedicated to "The Nativity of Our Lady", of rare beauty due to the surrounding orchards and forests, is one of the most important monuments of Moldavian architecture in Bessarabia. It is located in the Orhei district, in the Vaticiu Valley, 55 km north of Chişinău, the capital.
Restored between 2002 and 2015, this architectural complex is composed of five churches, two cellars, a fortress, several auxiliary rooms, an orchard and a hermitage (30 monks live there).

L'église baroque de la Nativité de la Mère de Dieu ("Nașterea Maicii Domnului"), la plus haute du pays avec ses 57 mètres, est représentée sur le TAD (conception : Lilian Iațco) mis en circulation le 21 septembre 2018 à Curchi (MD-3524) pour commémorer le 245ème anniversaire de la fondation de ce monastère.
Ce TAD a été appliqué sur la carte ci-dessus, affranchie en partie avec un des 2 timbres EUROPA 2012 (4,20 L, émis le 18 avril) ayant pour thème "Visitez...", consacré à ce même monastère de Curchi ici. Merci beaucoup Nicolae !
Ce même monastère, avant sa rénovation, est représenté sur le petit timbre ci-dessus (1,30 L) faisant partie d'une série (5 timbres) émise le 27 avril 1996, consacrée à différents monastères du pays.
Pendant la période soviétique, ce site a été désacralisé, laissé à l'abandon et transformé en hôpital psychiatrique...
Le 3ème timbre (4,40 L) ci-dessus fait partie d'une série (4 timbres) émise le 22 février 1997, consacrée à des compositeurs célèbres, le violoniste, pianiste et chef d'orchestre roumain Georges Enesco (1881-1955) ici. 
The Baroque Church of the Nativity of the Mother of God ("Naşterea Maicii Domnului"), the highest of the country with its 57 meters, is represented on the postmark (design: Lilian Iaţco) put into circulation on September 21, 2018 in Curchi (MD-3524) to commemorate the 245th anniversary of the founding of this monastery.
This postmark was applied on the card above, stamped in part with one of the two EUROPA 2012 stamps (L 4.20, issued on April 18) about the theme "Visit ...", with this same Curchi Monastery here. Thank you very much Nicolae!
This same monastery, before its renovation, is depicted on the small stamp above (L 1.30) being part of a series (5 stamps) issued on April 27, 1996, devoted to different monasteries of the country.
During the Soviet period, this site was desacralized, abandoned and turned into a psychiatric hospital ...
The 3rd stamp (L 4.40) above is part of a series (4 stamps) issued on February 22, 1997, devoted to famous composers, the Romanian violinist, pianist and conductor George Enescu (1881-1955) here.

"World Capital of Wine Tourism 2018" stamp on FDC from Moldova

Timbre "Capitale mondiale du tourisme vitivinicole 2018" sur FDC de Moldavie

Après la Georgie en 2016 et l'Argentine en 2017, la République de Moldavie a organisée, les 6 et 7 septembre 2018, la 3ème Conférence de l'Organisation mondiale du tourisme (OMT) sur l'œnotourisme (ou tourisme vitivinicole), en partenariat avec le gouvernement moldave et l'Office National de la Vigne et du Vin (ONVV).
La République de Moldavie était donc pour l'occasion la Capitale mondiale du tourisme vitivinicole 2018, à travers cette Conférence organisée au "Château Mimi" (fin du 19ème siècle, cf timbre EUROPA 2017), un des plus prestigieux sites de production vinicole du pays.
Le 6 septembre 2018, la poste moldave a mis en circulation un très joli timbre (5,75 L, tirage : 125000, conception : Corina Levco) célébrant cette Capitale mondiale du tourisme vitivinicole.
Merci beaucoup Nicolae pour ce joli FDC officiel (tirage : 600) concernant ce timbre, avec TAD de Chișinău !
After Georgia in 2016 and Argentina in 2017, the Republic of Moldova organized, on 6 and 7 September 2018, the 3rd Conference of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) on wine tourism, in partnership with the Moldovan Government and the National Office of Vine and Wine.
The Republic of Moldova was therefore for the occasion the World Capital of Wine Tourism 2018, through this Conference organized at the "Castle Mimi" (end of the 19th century, cf EUROPA 2017 stamp), one of the most prestigious wine production sites in the country.
On September 6, 2018, the Post of Moldova put into circulation a very nice stamp (L 5.75, print run: 125,000, design: Corina Levco) celebrating this World Capital of Wine Tourism.

Mileştii Mici est dans le livre des records pour la plus grande collection de vins au monde (1,5 millions de bouteilles) stockés dans des galeries d'une longueur de 200 kilomètres (120 km de galeries souterraines à Cricova).
Nicolae a également utilisé ci-dessus un des 2 timbres EUROPA 2012 (5,40 L) émis le 18 avril 2012, consacré à ce complexe vinicole de Mileştii Mici.
Cette Conférence sur le tourisme vitivinicole 2018 marque la reconnaissance officielle de la Moldavie en tant que destination œnotouristique majeure sur la carte touristique du monde. Le pays se classe parmi les 20 plus grands producteurs de vins, avec 1,8 millions d’hectolitres de vins produits annuellement, selon l'Organisation internationale de la vigne et du vin.
Avec une superficie des vignobles qui s'étend sur 4% du territoire du pays, la Moldavie a la plus forte densité de vignobles dans le monde et se place 6ème au niveau européen selon la surface des vignobles.
Rendez-vous en 2019 au Chili pour la 4ème édition de cette Conférence internationale.

Mileştii Mici is in the Guinness World Records for the largest collection of wines in the world (1.5 million bottles) stored in galleries of a length of 200 kilometers (120 km of underground galleries in Cricova).
Nicolae also used above one of the two EUROPA 2012 stamps (L 5.40) issued on April 18, 2012, dedicated to this winery in Mileştii Mici.
This 2018 Wine Tourism Conference marked the official recognition of Moldova as a major wine tourism destination on the world tourist map. The country ranks among the 20 largest wine producers, with 1.8 million hectoliters of wine produced annually, according to the International Organization of Vine and Wine.
With a vineyard area covering 4% of the country's territory, Moldova has the highest density of vineyards in the world and ranks 6th in Europe according to the vineyard area.

Merci beaucoup Ala pour cette jolie carte postale (conception : Corina Levco, tirage : 1000) éditée cette année par la poste moldave, affranchie avec la série EUROPA 2012 (2 timbres), envoyée le 25 mai 2018 de Chișinău (MD-2012) !
Le 18 avril 2012, la poste de Moldavie avait mis en circulation cette intéressante série de 2 timbres dans le cadre des émissions EUROPA dont le thème cette année-là était "Visitez..." ("Vizitaţi...").
Ces 2 timbres (tirage : 50000 chacun), conçus par Alexander Kornienko, ont été imprimés chacun en feuille de 10 timbres ainsi que dans un carnet (3 timbres de chaque + 2 vignettes).

On April 18, 2012, the Post of Moldova had put into circulation this interesting series of 2 stamps as part of the EUROPA issues, devoted that year to the theme "Visit ..." ("Vizitaţi ...").
These 2 stamps (print run: 50,000 each), designed by Alexander Kornienko, were each printed in sheet of 10 stamps and in a booklet (3 stamps of each + 2 vignettes).

A travers cette série, la poste moldave a choisi de nous faire (re)découvrir deux lieux importants du patrimoine culturel, religieux et économique du pays : le monastère de Curchi (4,20 L) et le complexe viticole "Mileştii Mici" (5,40 L).
Le monastère de Curchi (18ème et 19ème siècle) est un des plus importants complexes orthodoxes de Moldavie avec ses nombreux édifices et églises dont la cathédrale baroque (œuvre de l'architecte italien Rastrelli), la plus haute du pays avec ses 57 mètres. 
Le complexe viticole "Mileştii Mici", entreprise d'état créée en 1969, est un des symboles de l'économie viticole moldave. Plus de 1,5 millions de bouteilles de vin de haute qualité (un record mondial !) sont conservées dans un réseau de galeries souterraines de plus de 200 km !
Through this series, the Moldovan Post has chosen to make us (re)discovered two important places of country's cultural, religious and economic heritage : the Curchi Monastery (L 4.20) and the "Mileştii Mici" wine complex (L 5.40). 
Curchi Monastery (18th and 19th century) is one of the largest Orthodox complex of Moldova with its many buildings and churches including the Baroque cathedral (designed by Italian architect Rastrelli), the highest in the country with its 57 meters. 
The "Mileştii Mici" Quality Wines Complex, a state enterprise established in 1969, is a symbol of the Moldovan wine production. More than 1.5 million bottles of high quality (a world record !) are stored in a network of underground over 200 km-long tunnels !

L'autre côté de cette jolie carte ci-dessus, mêlant les couleurs du drapeau national et les traditions du pays, comme ces motifs évoquant la vigne (un thème également à l'honneur dans les lettres M et A).
Un couple en costume traditionnel figure dans la lettre V (une illustration similaire à celle de la couverture du carnet EUROPA 2012), les autres lettres évoquant la nature (cigognes, tournesols) et le patrimoine (forteresse de Soroca).
The other side of this beautiful postcard above, mixing the colors of the national flag and the traditions of the country, such as these patterns evoking the vine (a theme also in the spotlight in the letters M and A).
A couple in traditional costume is included in the letter V (an illustration similar to the one featured on the cover of the EUROPA 2012 booklet), the other letters evoking nature (storks, sunflowers) and heritage (Soroca fortress).

Bloc-feuillet EUROPA 2012 (Visitez...) sur lettre du Monténégro

Pour rappel, le thème EUROPA choisi par l'organisation PostEurop en 2012 était "Visitez..." et a donné lieu à de plutôt jolies séries de timbres donnant envie de voyager !
Le 17 octobre 2012, la poste du Monténégro "Pošta Crne Gore" a mis en circulation 2 timbres EUROPA (conception : Ana Pajović Kljajević), imprimés chacun en feuillet composé de 8 timbres + 1 vignette (tirage : 50000 chacun) ainsi que dans un même bloc-feuillet (tirage : 20000).
Ce bloc-feuillet numéroté (n° 13304) a été utilisé pour affranchir la lettre ci-dessous envoyée le 14 décembre 2017 depuis Podgorica, la capitale.

On October 17, 2012, the Montenegrin Post "Pošta Crne Gore" issued two EUROPA stamps (design: Ana Pajović Kljajević), each printed in a sheetlet consisting of 8 stamps + 1 label (print run: 50,000 each) and in one same miniature sheet (print run: 20,000).
This miniature sheet (numbered 13304) was used on the letter below sent on December 14, 2017 from Podgorica, the capital.

Deux des principales attractions touristiques du Monténégro sont à l'honneur sur ces 2 timbres : Sveti Stefan (0,95€) et la canyon de la rivière Tara (0,80€).
Ancien village fortifié de pêcheurs datant du 15ème siècle, Sveti Stefan est l'une des destinations les plus connues de la côte Adriatique, construit sur un îlot rocheux relié à la côte par un étroit isthme de sable. En 1960, sous l'impulsion de Tito, l'île est transformée en hôtel de luxe avant de tomber dans l'oubli pendant la guerre de Yougoslavie.
Le véritable trésor du Monténégro est sa ressource en eau, en particulier sa rivière Tara (144 km de long) qui passe dans un spectaculaire canyon sur environ 80 km, atteignant une profondeur maximale de 1300 mètres ce qui en fait le 2ème canyon le plus profond au monde après le Grand Canyon aux USA.
A noter sur ces 2 timbres ces feuilles incluant le logo EUROPA et la mention "Posjetite Crnu Goru" ("Visitez le Monténégro") ainsi que la présence de l'emblème de l'office du tourisme national.
Two of the main tourist attractions of Montenegro are in the spotlight on these two stamps: Sveti Stefan (€ 0.95) and Tara River canyon (€ 0.80).
Old fortified village of fishermen dating from the 15th century, Sveti Stefan is one of the most known destinations of the Adriatic coast, built on a rocky island connected to the coast by a narrow isthmus of sand. In 1960, under the impetus of Tito, the island was transformed into a luxury hotel before falling into oblivion during the war in Yugoslavia.
The real treasure of Montenegro is its water resource, in particular this Tara River (144 km long) which passes in a spectacular canyon on about 80 km, reaching a maximum depth of 1,300 meters which makes it the 2nd deepest in the world after the Grand Canyon in the USA.
To note on these two stamps these tree leaves including the EUROPA logo and the mention "Posjetite Crnu Goru" ("Visit Montenegro") and also the presence of the emblem of the national tourist agency.

First Moldova-Romania Postcrossing Meeting - special postmark from Chișinău

1ère rencontre Postcrossing Moldavie-Roumanie - TAD spécial de Chișinău

Le 29 juillet 2017, le bureau postal principal de Chișinău (MD-2012) accueillait pour la 1ère fois une rencontre Postcrossing entre des membres de Moldavie et de Roumanie.
Pour rappel, Postcrossing est un projet créé en 2005, consistant à envoyer et à recevoir des cartes postales (de façon aléatoire) en provenance du monde entier. A ce jour, ce site internet regroupe 688408 membres provenant de 211 pays ou territoires différents (plus de 42 millions de cartes reçues), mais reste plutôt confidentiel en France avec seulement 13179 membres...
Depuis 2011, une quinzaine d'administrations postales a consacré des timbres à Postcrossing, la Roumanie, l'Indonésie ou la Suisse cette année.
On July 29, 2017, the main post office in Chişinău (MD-2012) hosted for the first time a Postcrossing meeting between members from Moldova and Romania.
As a reminder, Postcrossing is a project created in 2005, allowing its members to send and receive postcards (from random people) from all over the world. To date, this website includes about 688,408 members from 211 different countries or territories (more than 42 million cards received), but is rather confidential in France with only 13,179 members... 
Since 2011, about 15 postal administrations have dedicated stamps to Postcrossing, Romania, Indonesia or Switzerland being the last ones this year.

A l'occasion de cette rencontre Postcrossing, la poste moldave a mis en circulation, ce 29 juillet 2017, un TAD spécial (conception : Maria Maximenco), symbolisant un timbre traversé par une rivière incluant le nom des 2 pays (sans doute une référence à la rivière Prout qui les sépare à l'ouest).
Un grand merci Nicolae pour cette jolie carte postale (n° 20/2013, conception : Alexandr Kornienko, tirage : 1000) incluant ce TAD, affranchie avec un des 2 timbres EUROPA (5,40 L) émis le 18 avril 2012 ayant pour thème "Visitez..." ("Vizitaţi..."), le complexe viticole "Mileştii Mici" en particulier ici !
L'autre timbre en haut à droite (1,20 L) fait partie d'une série de 2 timbres, émise le 16 août 2014, consacrée à des espèces de moutons, la race Karakul ici.
Le timbre en 2 exemplaires ci-dessus (1,50 roubles puis 1,50 L depuis le 1er février 2006) fait partie de la 1ère série courante moldave (5 timbres) émise le 24 mai 1992, représentant les armoiries du pays.
On the occasion of this Postcrossing meeting, the Post of Moldova put into circulation on July 29, 2017, a special postmark (conception: Maria Maximenco), symbolizing a stamp crossed by a river including the names of the two countries (probably a reference to the Prout river which separates them to the west).
A big thank you Nicolae for this nice postcard (No 20/2013, design: Alexandr Kornienko, print run: 1,000) including this postmark, franked with one of the two EUROPA stamps (L 5.40) issued on April 18, 2012, devoted to the theme "Visit..." ("Vizitaţi..."), the "Mileştii Mici" Quality Wines Complex especially here!
The other stamp on the top right (L 1.20) is part of a set of two stamps, issued on August 16, 2014, devoted to sheep breeds, the Karakul here.
The stamp in two copies above (1.50 rubles and then 1.50 Leu from February 1, 2006) is part of the first definitive series in Moldova (5 stamps) issued on May 24, 1992, depicting the country's coat of arms.
 

A noter que cette carte postale comporte la mention "Postcrossing" à gauche et qu'elle est consacrée aux collections du Musée national d'ethnographie et d'histoire naturelle de Chișinău, avec en particulier la reconstitution d'un intérieur traditionnel sur l'autre face ci-dessus, avec un métier à tisser, des tapisseries et différentes pièces de poterie.
To note that this postcard is marked "Postcrossing" on the left and is devoted to the collections of the National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History of Chişinău, with in particular the reconstitution of a traditional interior on the other side above, with a weaving loom, tapestries and various pieces of pottery.

Série EUROPA 2012 (Visitez...) sur lettre d'Albanie

Pour rappel, le thème EUROPA choisi par l'organisation PostEurop en 2012 était "Visitez..." et a donné lieu à de plutôt jolies séries de timbres donnant envie de voyager !
Le 21 septembre 2012, la poste albanaise (Posta Shqiptare) a mis en circulation une jolie série de 2 timbres EUROPA (tirage : 15650 séries) sur ce thème, conçue par Eni Veveçka et imprimée dans un même feuillet composée de 5 paires.
Ces 2 timbres se-tenant, incluant la mention "Vizitë në Shqipëri" ("Visite en Albanie"), ont été utilisés pour affranchir la jolie lettre ci-dessous envoyée le 9 février 2017 depuis la capitale albanaise, Tirana. Merci beaucoup Sabri !
As a reminder, the EUROPA theme chosen by the organization PostEurop in 2012 was "Visit..." and gave rise to rather nice series of stamps giving wanderlust!

Ce thème a permis cette année-là aux administrations postales européennes de faire découvrir des sites culturels ou naturels, comme le centre historique de Gjirokastër sur le timbre ci-dessus à droite (250 lekë) ou le château et la cité médiévale de Krujë sur l'autre timbre (30 lekë).
Le centre historique de Gjirokastër (situé dans la vallée de la rivière Drinos, sud de l'Albanie), inscrit au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO depuis 2005, est un exemple rare de style architectural typique de la période ottomane qui comprend une série de remarquables maisons à deux étages datant du 17ème siècle.
Située à 20 km au nord de Tirana, la ville de Krujë est connue pour son château (fin du 12ème siècle) et les batailles ayant opposé les troupes ottomanes au héros national Skanderbeg, né dans cette même cité en 1405. Ce timbre montre en particulier le musée Skanderbeg et les vestiges de la mosquée Sultan Mehmed Fatih.
This topic allowed the European postal administrations to make us discover cultural and natural sites such as the historic center of Gjirokastër on the stamp above to the right (250 lekë) or the castle and the medieval city of Krujë on the other stamp (30 lekë).
The historic center of Gjirokastër (located in the valley of the Drinos River in southern Albania), a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005, is a rare example of an architectural character typical of the Ottoman period that includes a series of outstanding two-story houses which were developed in the 17th century.
Located 20 km north of Tirana, the town of Krujë is known for its castle (end of the 12th century) and the battles between the Ottoman troops and the national hero Skanderbeg, born in this same city in 1405. That stamp shows in particular the Skanderbeg Museum and the remains of the Sultan Mehmed Fatih Mosque. 
 

"Orhei National Park" prepaid envelope from Moldova

Le 26 juin 2015, la poste moldave a mis en circulation sa 9ème enveloppe illustrée pré-timbrée de l'année, consacrée au parc national d'Orhei ("Parcul Național Orhei"), le 1er de ce type en Moldavie (suite à un vote du parlement en 2013).
Ce parc national (34000 hectares), s'étendant sur 4 districts moldave (Orhei, Straseni, Calarasi et Criuleni), constitue un ensemble naturel et culturel unique dans le pays, avec un écosystème et de nombreux monuments à préserver.
Un grand merci Nicolae de m'avoir envoyé cette enveloppe (de couleur verte bien sûr !) avec TAD Premier Jour d'Orhei (MD-3505) !
On June 26, 2015, the Post of Moldova has released its 9th prepaid illustrated envelope of the year, devoted to the Orhei National Park ("Parcul Național Orhei"), the first of this kind in Moldova (following a parliamentary vote in 2013).
This National Park (34,000 hectares) covering four Moldovan districts (Orhei, Straseni, Criuleni and Calarasi), is a unique natural and cultural entity in the country, with an ecosystem and many monuments to preserve.
A big thank you Nicolae for having sent me this envelope (green of course !) with the FDC cancellation from Orhei (MD-3505) !

Cette enveloppe (valeur nominale de 1,75 L, tirage : 10000), conçue par Alexandr Kornienko et vendue à un prix de 2,90 L, représente (en haut à droite) le logo de ce parc.
Nicolae a ajouté 2 timbres identiques (4,20 L) faisant partie de la série EUROPA émise en 2012 (le 18 avril) dont le thème était "Visitez..." ("Vizitaţi...").
J'ai déjà évoqué sur ce blog cette série EUROPA et en particulier ce timbre représentant le monastère de Curchi (18ème et 19ème siècle), un des plus importants complexes orthodoxes de Moldavie avec ses nombreux édifices et églises dont la cathédrale baroque, la plus haute du pays avec ses 57 mètres.
Ce même monastère, situé dans ce parc national, figure sur une des 3 illustrations à gauche sur cette enveloppe, ainsi que la rivière Răut et les impressionnantes falaises (région d'Orheiul Vechi) surplombant cette même rivière et le le monastère de Pestera, creusé dans la falaise par des moines orthodoxes à partir du 13ème siècle.

Nicolae added two identical stamps (L 4.20) being part of the EUROPA series issued in 2012 (on April 18) devoted to the theme of "Visit..." ("Vizitaţi...").
I've already mentioned on this blog this EUROPA set and in particular that stamp featuring the Curchi monastery (18th and 19th century), one of the largest Orthodox complex of Moldova with its many buildings and churches including the Baroque cathedral, the highest in the country (57 meters high). 
This same monastery, located in this Orhei National Park, is depicted on one of the three pictures to the left on this envelope, as well as the Raut river and stunning cliffs (region of Orheiul Vechi) overlooking that same river and the Pestera monastery, dug into the cliff by Orthodox monks from the 13th century.

J'avais déjà évoqué sur ce blog les séries EUROPA émises en 2012 par les 2 opérateurs postaux de la Fédération de Bosnie-Herzégovine de Sarajevo et de la poste croate de Mostar, consacrées cette année au tourisme à travers le thème "Visitez...".
Grâce à Edin (un grand merci !), voici cette fois la série EUROPA émise (le 26 avril 2012) par le 3ème opérateur postal du pays, la Pošte Srpske de la république serbe de Bosnie, utilisée sur cette lettre postée le 14 novembre 2013 de la ville de Doboj.
Comme les autres années, ces 2 timbres (conception : Božidar Došenović et Nebojša Đumić, tirage : 40000 chacun) ont été émis chacun en feuille de 8 timbres + 1 vignette centrale ainsi que dans un même carnet composé de 6 timbres (3 de chaque).
I had already mentioned on this blog the EUROPA series issued in 2012 by the two postal operators of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo and the Croatian post in Mostar, devoted this year to tourism through the theme "Visit ...".
Thanks to Edin (thank you so much !), here is this time the EUROPA set issued (on April 26, 2012) by the third country's postal operator, the Pošte Srpske of the Republika Srpska, used on this letter posted on November 14, 2013 in the town of Doboj.
As in previous years, these two stamps (design : Božidar Došenović and Nebojša Đumić, print run : 40000 each) were issued each in sheet of 8 stamps + 1 central vignette as well as in the same booklet consisting of 6 stamps (3 of each).

Le timbre à gauche (1 KM) représente un paysage caractéristique de la rivière Tara (144 km), qui marque à plusieurs endroits la frontière entre le Monténégro et la Republika Srpska.
Cette rivière est surtout connue au Monténégro (104 km) puisqu'elle coule dans le plus long canyon d'Europe. Comme le montre ce timbre, cette rivière est un paradis pour la pratique du rafting (les championnats du monde y étaient organisés en 2009).
Des projets controversés de construction de barrages pourraient menacer l'équilibre naturel de cette région dans le futur...
L'autre timbre (2 KM) évoque la randonnée pédestre, une des activités principales dans le parc national de Sutjeska (172 km²), le plus ancien parc national de Bosnie (créé en 1962), et en particulier dans le massif de la Zelengora (Alpes dinariques) ici.
Dominé par le mont Lelija (2032 mètres), cette région est caractérisée par la forêt de Perućica, une des dernières forêts primaires d'Europe, et par de nombreux lacs glaciaires comme le lac Gornje Bare sur ce timbre.
The stamp ont the left (KM 1.00) features a characteristic landscape of the Tara River (144 km), which marks the border at several places between Montenegro and the Republika Srpska.
This river is best known in Montenegro (104 km) since it runs in the longest canyon in Europe. As depicted on that stamp, this river is a paradise for rafting (the world championships were held here in 2009).
Some controversial plans to build dams could threaten the natural balance of this region in the future...
The other stamp (KM 2.00) refers to hiking, one of the main activities in the Sutjeska National Park (172 km²), the oldest national park of Bosnia and Herzegovina (created in 1962), in particular in the Zelengora mountain range (Dinaric Alps) here.
Dominated by Lelija Mount (2,032 meters), this region is characterized by the Perućica forest, one of the last primeval forests in Europe, and by a lot of glacial lakes such as Gornje Bare Lake on that stamp.

A l'occasion d'une réunion (à Brno) de l'association philatélique tchèque "Olympsport" ayant pour thématique le sport et les jeux olympiques, une flamme postale a été émise à Prague le 20 avril 2013.
J'ai eu la chance de recevoir les 2 plis ci-dessous oblitérés avec cette flamme spéciale. Merci beaucoup Slavek et Bret :-)
Cette association tchèque Olympsport est membre de la FIPO, la Fédération Internationale de Philatélie Olympique.
At the occasion of a meeting (in Brno) of the Czech Philatelic Association "Olympsport", specialized in the sport and Olympic Games topics, a pictural cancellation was issued in Prague on April 20, 2013.
I was lucky enough to receive the two covers below with this special cancellation. Thank you very much Slavek and Bret :-)
This Czech Association Olympsport is a member of the FIPO, the International Federation of Olympic Philately.

Olympsport met régulièrement en circulation ce type de flamme illustrée souvent consacrée à de grands champions sportifs tchèques.
Cette nouvelle flamme est consacré à Jan Matura (né en 1980), un sauteur à ski tchèque qui a remporté ses 2 premières victoires en coupe du monde en janvier 2013 à Sapporo.
Il sera sans doute un espoir de médaille pour la délégation tchèque lors des prochains jeux olympiques d'hiver de Sotchi en 2014. Cette flamme mentionne également que ces jeux débuteront dans 300 jours ! 
L'équipe tchèque de hockey sur glace sera également une des favorites du tournoi olympique, ayant été sacrée championne du monde à de nombreuses reprises, en particulier en 2010 en Allemagne, ce que rappelle ce timbre ci-dessus émis spécialement le 23 juin 2010.
Olympsport is regularly issuing such illustrated cancellations often devoted to major Czech sport champions.
This new one is devoted to Jan Matura (born 1980), a Czech ski jumper who won his first two World Cup victories on January 2013 in Sapporo.
He will probably be a medal hope for the Czech delegation at the upcoming Winter Olympic Games in Sochi in 2014. This cancellation also mentions that these games will begin in 300 days !
The Czech ice hockey team is also one of the favorites of the Olympic tournament, having been world champion many times, in particular in 2010 in Germany, what this stamp above specially issued on June 23, 2010 is reminding us.

J'ai déjà évoqué sur ce blog le timbre EUROPA 2012 ("Visitez...") utilisé sur cette carte ci-dessus émise lors de l'exposition philatélique internationale "Praga'88".
Ce timbre, émis le 2 mai 2012, représente 2 monuments célèbres de la capitale tchèque, la maison qui danse à droite et la tour de la vieille ville située à une extrémité du pont Charles, à gauche.
