Série "Admission de l'Albanie à la CEPT en 1992" sur lettre d'Albanie 

En 1992, l'Albanie est devenue membre de la Conférence européenne des administrations des postes et télécommunications (CEPT).
Créée en 1959, la CEPT (46 pays membres aujourd'hui) est une entité de coordination entre les organismes des postes et de télécommunications des états européens.
Le 15 septembre 1956 est émise la première émission (concernant 6 pays) de ce qui allait devenir les émissions EUROPA. En 1959, ces émissions deviennent communes aux pays participant à la CEPT, dont les initiales "CEPT" figurent sur les timbres à partir de 1960.
La chute du bloc communiste amène de nouveaux pays émetteurs à partir de 1990 pour atteindre 57 pays à la fin des années 1990.
La CEPT voulant dorénavant se concentrer sur les télécommunications, c'est l'association des opérateurs postaux publics européens, PostEurop, qui reprend la gestion des émissions EUROPA. Dès 1993 le logo de la CEPT disparaît au profit d'un nouveau logotype, le mot "EUROPA" penché vers la droite. 
In 1992, Albania became a member of the European Conference of Postal and Telecommunications Administrations (CEPT).
Established in 1959, the CEPT (currently with 46 member countries) is a coordinating body for the postal and telecommunications organizations of European states.
On September 15, 1956, the first issue (covering six countries) of what would become the EUROPA stamps was issued. In 1959, these issues became common to the CEPT member countries, whose initials "CEPT" appeared on the stamps from 1960 onwards.

As the CEPT wished to focus on telecommunications, the association of European public postal operators, PostEurop, took over the management of the EUROPA stamps. From 1993 onwards the CEPT logo disappeared in favor of a new logotype, the word "EUROPA" tilted to the right.  

L'Albanie émet des timbres CEPT-EUROPA depuis 1992 (500 ans de la découverte de l'Amérique), quasiment en même temps que de nombreux autres anciens pays du bloc communiste.
Le 15 avril 1992, la poste albanaise avait au préalable mis en circulation une série (2 timbres) consacrée à l'adhésion de l'Albanie à la CEPT.
Ces 2 timbres, incluant le logo de la CEPT et évoquant respectivement les postes (0,90 ALL) et les télécommunications (1,20 ALL), ont été utilisés à gauche sur la lettre ci-dessus, envoyée le 1er mars 2026 depuis Tirana. Merci beaucoup Sabri !
Sabri a utilisé un 3ème timbre (150 ALL) faisant partie de la série EUROPA 2023 (2 timbres, 1 bloc-feuillet, 1 carnet) émise le 27 avril 2024 (!), illustrant le thème de "La Paix - la valeur humaine la plus importante" ("Paqja - Vlera më e lartë e njerëzimit" en albanais).
Pour rappel, sur proposition de la poste ukrainienne, ce thème a été choisi par l'organisation PostEurop pour les timbres EUROPA 2023 en écho à l'agression de l'Ukraine par la Russie débutée en février 2022.
Pour illustrer ce thème 2023, PostEurop a organisé un concours au sein des pays membres et c'est le projet "Nœud de la paix" de la poste luxembourgeoise (auteurs : Linda Bos et Runa Egilsdottir - A Designers' Collective) qui a été choisi, parmi 29 propositions.
Étrangement, la poste albanaise n'a pas choisi de reproduire ce "Nœud de la paix" sur cette série EUROPA...  
Albania has been issuing CEPT-EUROPA stamps since 1992 (the 500th anniversary of the discovery of America), almost simultaneously with many other former communist bloc countries.
On April 15, 1992, the Albanian postal service had previously released a series (two stamps) commemorating Albania's accession to the CEPT.
These two stamps, featuring the CEPT logo and depicting postal (0.90 ALL) and telecommunications (1.20 ALL) services respectively, have been used on the left side of the cover above, sent on March 1, 2026, from Tirana. Thank you very much, Sabri!
Sabri used a third stamp (150 ALL) from the EUROPA 2023 series (2 stamps, 1 souvenir sheet, 1 booklet) issued on April 27, 2024 (!), illustrating the theme "Peace - the highest value of humanity" ("Paqja - Vlera më e lartë e njerëzimit" in Albanian).
As a reminder, at the suggestion of the Ukrainian Post, this theme was chosen by the PostEurop organization for the EUROPA 2023 stamps echoing the aggression of Ukraine by Russia which started on February 2022.
To illustrate this 2023 theme, PostEurop organized a competition within the member countries and the Luxembourg Post's "Peace Knot" project (authors: Linda Bos and Runa Egilsdottir - A Designers' Collective) was chosen from among 29 proposals.
Strangely, the Albanian Post did not choose to reproduce this "Peace Knot" on this EUROPA set... 

"1000 days of war in Ukraine" postmark on cover (EUROPA 2023 set) from Romania

TAD "1000 jours de guerre en Ukraine" sur lettre de Roumanie

Il y a un peu plus de 1000 jours, la Russie lançait (le 24 février 2022) ses bombardiers, ses tanks et sa haine sur l'Ukraine, espérant entraîner la capitulation rapide de Kyïv...
1000 jours plus tard, l'Ukraine est toujours debout, même si fortement affaiblie et meurtrie, et montre au monde entier ce que signifie le courage, l'honneur et le sacrifice.
Le 20 novembre 2024, le bureau postal 15 de Bucarest a mis en circulation un TAD spécial incluant cette mention "1000 jours de guerre en Ukraine" ("1000 de zile de război în Ucraina" en roumain).
Ce TAD rectangulaire en forme de timbre a été appliqué sur la lettre ci-dessous, affranchie avec la série EUROPA (2 timbres) émise le 9 mai 2023. Merci beaucoup Mihnea !
Pour rappel, sur proposition de la poste ukrainienne, le thème choisi par l'organisation PostEurop pour les timbres EUROPA 2023 était "La Paix - la valeur humaine la plus importante", en écho à cette agression du pays par la Russie.

1000 days later, Ukraine is still standing, even if greatly weakened and bruised, and shows the whole world what courage, honor and sacrifice mean.
On November 20, 2024, the Post Office 15 in Bucharest put into circulation a special cancellation including this mention "1000 days of war in Ukraine" ("1000 de zile de război în Ucraina" in Romanian).
This rectangular stamp-shaped postmark was applied to the cover below, franked with the EUROPA series (2 stamps) issued on May 9, 2023. Thank you very much Mihnea!

Pour illustrer ce thème 2023, PostEurop avait organisé un concours au sein des pays membres et c'est le projet "Nœud de la paix" de la poste luxembourgeoise qui avait été choisi, parmi 29 propositions.
Ce projet représente des cœurs entrelacés, et des mains aux doigts entremêlés, inspirés des nœuds d'amour celtiques. Les différentes couleurs renvoient à tous les pays du monde, unis par ce nouveau symbole de paix, une sorte de société fondée sur la coopération, dans laquelle les individus sont solidaires.
Ce "Nœud de la paix" commun est reproduit sur le timbre à gauche (11 L), l'autre timbre (7,50 L) représentant le tournesol comme symbole de paix mais aussi en référence à la fleur nationale ukrainienne. Les pétales jaunes du tournesol sont personnifiés ici par des colombes qui picorent les graines à l'intérieur de la fleur qui se transforment en continents.
Après ces 1000 jours de lutte, l'Ukraine résiste mais cela a un prix : 15574 tués et 25969 blessés dans la population civile, bien que les chiffres réels soient sans doute beaucoup plus importants. Et 15059 citoyens ukrainiens ont été déportés ou emprisonnés par les occupants russes. À cela s'ajoutent 6,7 millions de réfugiés dans le monde entier (dont 4,2 millions en Europe) et 3,5 millions de personnes déplacées. Gloire à l'Ukraine !

This project represents intertwined hearts, and hands with intertwined fingers, inspired by Celtic love knots. The different colors refer to all the countries of the world, united by this new symbol of peace, a kind of society based on cooperation, in which individuals stand together.
This common "Peace Knot" is reproduced on the stamp on the left (11 L), the other stamp (7.50 L) representing the sunflower as a symbol of peace but also in reference to the Ukrainian national flower. The yellow petals of the sunflower are personified as doves that peck at seeds inside the flower that turn into continents.
After these 1000 days of struggle, Ukraine is resisting but it has a price: 15,574 dead and 25,969 wounded among the civilian population, although the real figures are probably much higher. And 15,059 Ukrainian citizens have been deported or imprisoned by the Russian occupiers. Added to this are 6.7 million refugees worldwide (including 4.2 million in Europe) and 3.5 million displaced persons. Glory to Ukraine! 

"Olympic Games Paris 2024" souvenir sheet on FDC from Ukraine

Bloc-feuillet "Jeux olympiques Paris 2024" sur FDC d'Ukraine

Dans le contexte de l'agression russe en cours, l'équipe d'Ukraine post-indépendance participait pour la 8ème fois (depuis 1996) à des jeux olympiques d'été à Paris, des jeux organisés du 26 juillet au 11 août 2024.
L'Ukraine a envoyé à Paris la plus petite délégation de son histoire, 140 athlètes (72 hommes, 68 femmes) engagés dans 22 sports.
Dans ce contexte, la délégation ukrainienne a obtenu un résultat remarquable, avec 12 médailles (3 or, 5 argent, 4 bronze) remportées de façon paritaire (6 épreuves masculines, 6 épreuves féminines) dans 7 sports différents (escrime, athlétisme, lutte, boxe, canoë-kayak en ligne, gymnastique et tir).
Une des stars de cette équipe, l'escrimeuse Olga Kharlan (sabre), déjà médaillée en 2008, 2012 et 2016, a remporté 2 nouvelles médailles à Paris, l'or par équipe et le bronze en individuel. Olga Kharlan est depuis le début de cette guerre en première ligne pour défendre son pays et dénoncer cette agression russe. 
Against the backdrop of ongoing Russian aggression, the post-independence Ukrainian team participated for the 8th time (since 1996) in the Summer Olympics in Paris, held from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
Ukraine sent the smallest delegation in its history to Paris, 140 athletes (72 men, 68 women) competing in 22 sports.
In this context, the Ukrainian delegation achieved a remarkable result, with 12 medals (3 gold, 5 silver, 4 bronze) won equally (6 men's events, 6 women's events) in 7 different sports (fencing, athletics, wrestling, boxing, canoeing, gymnastics and shooting).
One of the stars of this team, fencer Olga Kharlan (sabre), already a medalist in 2008, 2012 and 2016, won two new medals in Paris, team gold and individual bronze. Olga Kharlan has been on the front line since the beginning of this war to defend her country and denounce this Russian aggression.

Le 19 juillet 2024, la poste ukrainienne a mis en circulation un très joli bloc-feuillet, composé de 6 timbres de forme triangulaire (2 x U - 15 UAH, 4 x F - 30 UAH), afin d'encourager l'équipe olympique d'Ukraine ("Олімпійська команда України") lors de ces jeux olympiques de Paris 2024.
Conçu par Serhiia and Oleksandra Kharukiv, ce bloc-feuillet (tirage : 100000) figure sur le FDC officiel ci-dessus, envoyé en recommandé, avec TAD de Kyïv. Merci beaucoup Roman !
Un hologramme de forme ronde figure au milieu des 6 timbres, regroupés en forme d'hexagone pour rappeler la forme géographique de la France, une carte (sans la Corse...) figurant également dans la marge en bas à gauche. 
L'emblème de comité national olympique ukrainien est aussi représenté dans la marge à gauche ainsi que sur chacun de ces timbres illustrant (de façon paritaire) 6 sports différents : haltérophilie, escrime, canoë-kayak en ligne, tennis, tir et judo.
Deux footballeurs figurent dans la marge en haut à gauche, rappelant que l'équipe masculine ukrainienne s'était qualifiée pour la 1ère fois de son histoire à un tournoi olympique à Paris.
On July 19, 2024, the Ukrainian Post released a very nice souvenir sheet, consisting of 6 triangular shaped stamps (2 x U - 15 UAH, 4 x F - 30 UAH), to cheer for the Ukrainian Olympic Team ("Олімпійська команда України") at these Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Designed by Serhiia and Oleksandra Kharukiv, this souvenir sheet (print run: 100,000) is present on the official FDC above, sent by registered mail, with cancellations from Kyiv. Thank you very much Roman!
A round hologram is featured in the middle of the 6 stamps, grouped in a hexagon shape to recall the geographical shape of France, a map (without Corsica...) being also featured in the bottom left margin.
The emblem of the Ukrainian National Olympic Committee is also featured in the left margin as well as on each of these stamps illustrating (in a parity way) six different sports: weightlifting, fencing, canoeing, tennis, shooting and judo.
Two footballers are depicted in the top left margin, reminding us that the Ukrainian men's team had qualified for the first time in its history for an Olympic tournament in Paris.

Le premier jour d'émission, Roman m'a également envoyé depuis Lviv cette carte postale (recto ci-dessus, verso ci-dessous) mise en circulation spécialement pour cette émission olympique.
Roman a utilisé ici le timbre "Canoë-kayak en ligne" (F- 30 UAH) extrait du bloc-feuillet ainsi qu'un des 2 timbres EUROPA (U - 15 UAH, conception : Maria Suslova) émis le 24 mai 2023, illustrant le thème "La Paix - la valeur humaine la plus importante".
L'illustration de cette carte ci-dessous est similaire à celle figurant sur l'enveloppe avec la présence du symbole de Paris, la Tour Eiffel. 
On the first day of issue, Roman also sent me from Lviv this postcard (front above, back below) put into circulation especially for this Olympic issue.
Roman used here the stamp "Canoeing" (F- 30 UAH) from the souvenir sheet as well as one of the two EUROPA stamps (U - 15 UAH, design: Maria Suslova) issued on May 24, 2023, illustrating the theme "Peace - the highest value of humanity".
The illustration of this card below is similar to the one on the envelope with the presence of the symbol of Paris, the Eiffel Tower.

Sur proposition de la poste ukrainienne, le thème choisi par l'organisation PostEurop pour les timbres EUROPA 2023 était "La Paix - la valeur humaine la plus importante" ("Mir - najveća vrijednost čovječanstva" en monténégrin), en écho à l'agression du pays par la Russie débutée en février 2022.
Ce choix sonne comme un rappel de la volonté qui avait présidé en 1950 à la création de l'Union européenne après la 2ème Guerre mondiale, résumée par Robert Schuman en une formule désormais célèbre : faire l'Europe pour faire la Paix.

Le 9 mai 2023 (Journée de l'Europe), la poste du Monténégro a mis en circulation un timbre EUROPA unique (comme cela est le cas depuis 2013), reproduisant ce "Nœud de la paix" commun.
Ce timbre (0,95€, tirage : 40000) a été imprimé en feuillet composé de 8 timbres + 1 vignette centrale, ainsi que dans un bloc-feuillet numéroté (tirage : 10000).
Le timbre et le bloc-feuillet ont été utilisé sur cette lettre envoyée le 31 juillet 2024 depuis Podgorica, la capitale. Merci beaucoup Antea ! 
Selon le rapport du jury de PostEurop, ce motif "Nœud de la paix" est une métaphore visuelle d'une société pacifique dans laquelle la coopération dans le respect de la culture de chacun est centrale. 
On May 9, 2023 (Europe Day), the Post of Montenegro put into circulation a unique EUROPA stamp (as it has been since 2013), reproducing this common "Peace Knot".
This stamp (€0.95, print run: 40,000) was printed in a sheetlet composed of 8 stamps + 1 central label, as well as in a numbered souvenir sheet (print run: 10,000).
The stamp and souvenir sheet have been used on this cover sent on July 31, 2024 from Podgorica, the capital. Thank you very much Antea!
According to the PostEurop jury report, this "Peace Knot" motif is a visual metaphor for a peaceful society in which cooperation with respect for each other's culture is central. 

EUROPA 2024 (Underwater Fauna and Flora) stamp on FDC from Türkiye

Timbre EUROPA 2024 (Faune et flore subaquatiques) sur FDC de Turquie

Pour rappel, le thème choisi par l'association PostEurop pour les timbres EUROPA émis en 2024, la faune et flore subaquatiques ("Su Altı Faunası ve Florası" en turc), met en lumière la biodiversité des eaux européennes qui souffrent de la surpêche, de la pollution et du changement climatique et qui doivent être protégées pour les générations futures. 
Le 9 mai 2024 (Journée de l'Europe), la poste turque a mis en circulation un timbre EUROPA unique (20 TRY, tirage : 100000) illustrant ce thème, en particulier différentes espèces de poissons, murènes, requins et coraux de la mer Méditerranée.
Ce timbre figure en 2 exemplaires sur le FDC officiel ci-dessous (tirage : 2500) avec TAD d'Ankara, envoyé le 10 juin 2024 depuis Istanbul. Merci beaucoup Tolga !
Tolga a également utilisé le timbre EUROPA (10 TRY, tirage : 100000) émis le 9 mai 2023 illustrant le thème de "La Paix - la valeur humaine la plus importante", en écho à l'agression de l'Ukraine par la Russie débutée en février 2022. 
As a reminder, the theme chosen by the PostEurop association for the EUROPA stamps issued in 2024, underwater fauna and flora ("Su Altı Faunası ve Florası" in Turkish), highlights the biodiversity of European waters which suffer from overfishing, pollution and climate change and which must be protected for future generations.
On May 9, 2024 (Europe Day), the Turkish Post put into circulation a unique EUROPA stamp (20 TRY, print run: 100,000) illustrating this theme, in particular different species of fish, moray eels, sharks and corals of the Mediterranean sea.
This stamp appears in two copies on the official FDC below (print run: 2,500) with postmarks from Ankara, sent on June 10, 2024 from Istanbul. Thank you very much Tolga!
Tolga also used the EUROPA stamp (10 TRY, print run: 100,000) issued on May 9, 2023 illustrating the theme of "Peace - the highest value of humanity", echoing the aggression of Ukraine by Russia started in February 2022.

Les 3 derniers timbres ci-dessus (5 TRY, tirage : 100000 chacun) constituent la série EUROPA (2 timbres) émise le 9 mai 2022, consacrée au thème des histoires et mythes, en particulier à l'épopée de Köroğlu, une légende importante dans les traditions orales des peuples turcs.
En turc, köroğlu signifie "le fils de l'aveugle" et fait référence à un célèbre troubadour dont la réputation s'étendit à tout le Caucase, mais aussi en Perse et en Asie centrale. Cependant, le thème commun à toutes les versions est celui du héros défendant son clan ou sa tribu contre les menaces extérieures. Dans de nombreuses de ces versions, Köroğlu gagne son nom de l'aveuglement par erreur de son père, un acte pour lequel il cherche à se venger et qui initie toute une série d'aventures. Il est décrit à la fois comme un bandit et un poète. Opposé aux riches, réfractaire devant l'autorité, il vient en aide aux pauvres.

The last three stamps above (5 TRY, print run: 100,000 each) constitute the EUROPA series (2 stamps) issued on May 9, 2022, dedicated to the theme of stories and myths, in particular the epic of Köroğlu, an important legend in the oral traditions of the Turkic peoples.
In Turkish, köroğlu means "son of the blind man" and refers to a famous troubadour whose reputation spread throughout the Caucasus, but also in Persia and Central Asia. However, the common theme across all versions is that of the hero defending his clan or tribe against external threats. In many of these versions, Köroğlu earns his name from the mistaken blinding of his father, an act for which he seeks revenge and which initiates a whole series of adventures. He is described as both a bandit and a poet. Opposed to the rich, resistant to authority, he comes to the aid of the poor.

A dove of peace prevents a bullet from hitting its target, with the European flag and ribbons displaying the colors of the Ukrainian flag and the word "peace" in several different languages in the background.

Les 2 timbres de cette série (150 et 250 lekë, tirage : 50000 et 10000) ont été imprimés chacun en feuilles de 48 timbres.
Les 2 mêmes timbres avec des valeurs différentes (150 et 200 lekë) ont été également imprimés dans le feuillet numéroté (tirage : 8000) utilisé sur la 2ème lettre ci-dessus envoyée le premier jour d'émission depuis Tirana.
Le timbre à droite est identique à celui figurant sur le bloc-feuillet, l'autre timbre représentant également une colombe de la paix sur fond de globe terrestre, avec des mains tendus dans la partie inférieure (dont deux aux couleurs du drapeau européen et ukrainien) et le slogan "Stop war". 
The two stamps in this series (150 and 250 lekë, print run: 50,000 and 10,000) were each printed in sheets of 48 stamps.
The same two stamps with different nominal values ​​(150 and 200 lekë) were also printed in the numbered sheetlet (print run: 8,000) used on the 2nd cover above sent on the first day of issue from Tirana.

Sur proposition de la poste ukrainienne, le thème choisi par l'organisation PostEurop pour les timbres EUROPA 2023 était "La Paix - la valeur humaine la plus importante" ("Rahu - inimkonna kõrgeim väärtus" en estonien), en écho à l'agression du pays par la Russie débutée en février 2022.
Ce choix sonne comme un rappel de la volonté qui avait présidé en 1950 à la création de l'Union européenne après la 2ème Guerre mondiale, résumée par Robert Schuman en une formule désormais célèbre : faire l'Europe pour faire la Paix.
Pour illustrer ce thème 2023, PostEurop a organisé un concours au sein des pays membres et c'est le projet "Nœud de la paix" de la poste luxembourgeoise (auteurs : Linda Bos et Runa Egilsdottir - A Designers' Collective) qui a été choisi, parmi 29 propositions.
Ce projet représente des cœurs entrelacés, et des mains aux doigts entremêlés, inspirés des nœuds d'amour celtiques. Les différentes couleurs renvoient à tous les pays du monde, unis par ce nouveau symbole de paix, une sorte de société fondée sur la coopération, dans laquelle les individus sont solidaires.

Le 27 avril 2023, la poste suédoise Postnord a mis en circulation un timbre EUROPA unique, reproduisant ce "Nœud de la paix" commun.
Ce timbre autocollant (tarif international 2023 jusqu'à 50g - 30 SEK, tirage inconnu), imprimé en roulette de 100 timbres, a été utilisé sur cette lettre envoyée le 13 décembre 2023 depuis la ville de Torslanda (faisant partie de la commune de Göteborg). Merci beaucoup Rune !
A noter que ce timbre, reproduisant étrangement ce "Nœud de la paix" de façon verticale (seule la poste slovène a fait de même), fait partie d'une série (5 autres timbres émis au tarif domestique) intitulée "Ensemble pour la paix".

This self-adhesive stamp (international rate 2023 up to 50g - 30 SEK, unknown print run), printed in a roll of 100 stamps, was used on this cover sent on December 13, 2023 from the town of Torslanda (part of the municipality of Gothenburg). Thank you very much Rune!

"Aureliu Busuioc - 95 years since his birth" postmark on prepaid envelope from Moldova

TAD "Aureliu Busuioc - 95 ans de sa naissance" sur enveloppe pré-timbrée de Moldavie

Considéré comme l' "homme orchestre" de la littérature moldave, Aureliu Busuioc (1928-2012), perpétuellement fasciné par la poésie, fut un grand maître de la parole. Dès ses débuts littéraires, il s'est avéré être "pas comme les autres".
En publiant son premier volume "Prafuri amare" ("Les poudres amères") en 1955, il s'est imposé comme une plume vigoureuse et leste. A cette époque-là déjà, le jeune écrivain laissait entendre qu'il allait dépasser le cadre de poète lyrique-satirique que les critiques lui avaient circonscrit.
Poète, prosateur, dramaturge, essayiste, journaliste, traducteur (littérature russe en particulier), Aureliu Busuioc fut un maître de la littérature et de la culture moldave.
L'ensemble de son œuvre porte l'empreinte de sa personnalité universelle, d'une vaste culture, non-ordinaire, élégante, ingénieuse, méditative, lyrique, satirique, douce, gaie, ironique, caustique et raffinée. 
Considered the "one-man orchestra" of Moldovan literature, Aureliu Busuioc (1928-2012), perpetually fascinated by poetry, was a great master of words. From his literary beginnings, he proved to be "not like the others".
By publishing his first volume "Prafuri amare" ("The Bitter Powders") in 1955, he established himself as a vigorous and nimble pen. Already at that time, the young writer suggested that he was going to go beyond the framework of lyric-satirical poet that the critics had circumscribed for him.
Poet, prose writer, playwright, essayist, journalist, translator (Russian literature in particular), Aureliu Busuioc was a master of Moldovan literature and culture.
All of his work bears the imprint of his universal personality, of a vast culture, non-ordinary, elegant, ingenious, meditative, lyrical, satirical, gentle, cheerful, ironic, caustic and refined.

Le 4 mai 2023, la poste danoise (PostNord Danmark) a mis en circulation, uniquement sous la forme d'un bloc-feuillet, ce timbre EUROPA commun (36 DKK) ainsi qu'un autre timbre (12 DKK), ne comportant pas le logo EUROPA.

The stamp on the right was designed from a stamp issued on May 4, 1970 (engraved by Povl Christensen) to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the end of the German occupation and the liberation of the country.

Le 9 mai 2023 (Journée de l'Europe), la poste hongroise a mis en circulation, comme de coutume ces dernières années, sa série de 2 timbres EUROPA (875 HUF chacun) sous forme de bloc-feuillet incluant 4 timbres (2 de chaque), avec un timbre reproduisant ce "Nœud de la paix" commun et un autre représentant le projet hongrois (conception : Boglárka Nádi) pour ce concours PostEurop.
Ce bloc-feuillet (tirage : 20000) a été utilisé sur cette jolie lettre envoyée en recommandé le 21 novembre 2023 depuis la ville de Kőszeg, située à l'extrême ouest du pays à proximité de la frontière autrichienne. Merci beaucoup Janos !
Le 2ème timbre EUROPA ci-dessus représente une jeune fille serrant dans ses bras une colombe, symbole de paix et de liberté. Le sourire et l'étreinte de la jeune fille expriment que la paix et la réconciliation entre les gens renforcent les relations et les communautés.
On May 9, 2023 (the Europe Day), the Hungarian Post put into circulation, as usual in recent years, its series of two EUROPA stamps (875 HUF each) in the form of a miniature sheet including four stamps (two of each), with a stamp reproducing this common "Peace Knot" and another representing the Hungarian project (design: Boglárka Nádi) for this PostEurop competition.
This miniature sheet (print run: 20,000) was used on this pretty cover sent by registered mail on November 21, 2023 from the town of Kőszeg, located in the far west of the country near the Austrian border. Thank you very much Janos!
The 2nd EUROPA stamp above represents a girl hugging a dove, the symbol of peace and freedom. The girl's smile and embrace together express that peace and reconciliation between people strengthen relationships and communities.

La Journée internationale de la paix a été instituée en 1981 par l'Assemblée générale des Nations Unies.
Chaque année, cette Journée est célébrée dans le monde entier le 21 septembre. L'Assemblée générale des Nations Unies a déclaré cette journée consacrée au renforcement des idéaux de paix, en observant 24 heures de non-violence et de cessez-le-feu.
Le thème de cette année 2023 est "Action en faveur de la paix : nos ambitions pour les #ObjectifsMondiaux", un appel à l'action qui reconnaît notre responsabilité individuelle et collective dans la promotion de la paix. La promotion de la paix contribue à la réalisation des objectifs de développement durable (ODD), laquelle créera une culture de la paix pour tous...
A l'occasion de cette Journée internationale de la paix ("Ziua Internațională a Păcii" en roumain), la poste moldave a mis en circulation, le 21 septembre 2023, un TAD spécial (conception : Olesea Rusnac) représentant une colombe de la paix tenant une branche d'olivier dans son bec.

Every year, this Day is celebrated around the world on September 21. The UN General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, through observing 24 hours of non-violence and cease-fire.

On the occasion of this International Day of Peace ("Ziua Internațională a Păcii" in Romanian), the Post of Moldova put into circulation, on September 21, 2023, a special postmark (design: Olesea Rusnac) representing a dove of peace holding an olive branch in its beak.

Cette enveloppe (tirage : 1500, conception : Eugeniu Verebceanu) a été mise en circulation le 18 juin 2021 à l'occasion de l'Année Internationale de la Paix et de la Confiance. Cette année avait pour but de réaffirmer la Charte des Nations Unies et les objectifs et principes qui y sont énoncés, tout particulièrement l'obligation de résoudre les différends par des moyens pacifiques et la volonté ferme de préserver les générations futures du "fléau de la guerre".
A noter également sur cette enveloppe un 2ème TAD en haut à gauche (conception : Eugeniu Verebceanu) mis en circulation entre le 1er avril et le 31 décembre 2023, avec son slogan "Eu iubesc Pacea!" ("J'aime la paix!"), en référence à l'agression russe en Ukraine.

The purpose of this year was to reaffirm the Charter of the United Nations and the purposes and principles set out therein, especially the obligation to resolve conflicts by peaceful means and the firm will to save future generations from the "scourge of war" .
Also note on this envelope a 2nd postmark at the top left (design: Eugeniu Verebceanu) put into circulation between April 1 and December 31, 2023, with its slogan "Eu iubesc Pacea!" ("I love peace!"), in reference to Russian aggression in Ukraine.

Série EUROPA 2023 (La paix) sur lettre du Kosovo

Depuis 2006 (le pays n'avait pas encore déclaré son indépendance et était sous administration de la Mission d'administration intérimaire des Nations unies au Kosovo), des timbres ayant le même thème que les séries EUROPA officielles sont mis en circulation chaque année par la poste du Kosovo (Posta e Kosovës).
De façon variable, ces timbres mentionnent (ou pas) le libellé de ce thème ou la mention EUROPA (ou EVROPA), sans toutefois inclure le logo EUROPA officiel, le Kosovo n'étant pas membre de l'association PostEurop qui gère ces émissions EUROPA.
Le 9 mai 2023 (Journée de l'Europe), 1 timbre et 1 bloc-feuillet ont été émis, consacrés au thème de la paix ("paqe" en albanais), sans faire précisément référence à "La Paix - la valeur humaine la plus importante", le thème choisi pour les timbres EUROPA en 2023.
Since 2006 (the country had not yet declared its independence and was under the administration of the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo), stamps with the same theme as the official EUROPA series are put into circulation every year by the Post of Kosovo (Posta e Kosovës).
Variably, these stamps mention (or not) the wording of that theme or the mention EUROPA (or EVROPA), without including however the official EUROPA logo, Kosovo being not a member of the PostEurop association, managing these EUROPA stamps. 
On May 9, 2023 (the Europe Day), one stamp and one souvenir sheet were issued, dedicated to the theme of peace ("paqe" in Albanian), without specifically referring to "Peace - the highest value of humanity", the theme chosen for the EUROPA stamps in 2023.

La poste du Kosovo n'a pas émis de timbre reproduisant le "Nœud de la paix" (projet proposé par la poste luxembourgeoise), l'illustration commune représentée sur tous les timbres EUROPA 2023 suite à l'organisation d'un concours par PostEurop.
Ce timbre et bloc-feuillet font référence à la paix à travers une colombe représentée sous la forme d'un origami, avec une branche d'olivier dans le bec, avec un globe terrestre, des fils barbelés, les 6 étoiles et les couleurs bleu et jaune présentes sur le drapeau du Kosovo dans le fond. 
The numbered souvenir sheet (€2.00) as well as the stamp (€2.00) of this series (print run: 13,000) have been used on the pretty cover above sent by registered mail on November 15, 2023 from the city of Prizren, located in the southern part of the country. Thank you very much Sabri!
The Kosovo Post did not issue a stamp reproducing the "Peace Knot" (project proposed by the Luxembourg Post), the common illustration represented on all EUROPA 2023 stamps following the organization of a contest by PostEurop.
This stamp and souvenir sheet refer to peace through a dove represented in the form of an origami, with an olive branch in the beak, with a terrestrial globe, barbed wire, the 6 stars and the blue and yellow colors present on the flag of Kosovo in the background.

Le 10 mai 2023, la poste de Macédoine du Nord a mis en circulation sa série EUROPA, avec un timbre reproduisant ce "Nœud de la paix" commun (100 MKD) et un autre (144 MKD, conception : T. Pocevska) illustrant une empreinte de main reprenant les mêmes couleurs.
Ces 2 timbres (tirage : 6000), imprimés chacun en feuillet de 9 timbres, figurent sur les 2 FDCs officiels ci-dessus et ci-dessous, avec TAD de Skopje mentionnant le thème de cette année, en macédonien et albanais, les 2 langues officielles du pays.
Selon le rapport du jury de PostEurop, ce motif "Nœud de la paix" est une métaphore visuelle d'une société pacifique dans laquelle la coopération dans le respect de la culture de chacun est centrale. 
On May 10, 2023, the Post of North Macedonian put into circulation its EUROPA series, with one stamp reproducing this common "Peace Knot" (100 MKD) and another one (144 MKD, design: T. Pocevska) illustrating a handprint using the same colors.

Le 10 juillet 2023, la poste azerbaïdjanaise a mis en circulation sa série EUROPA, avec un timbre reproduisant ce "Nœud de la paix" commun et un autre représentant le projet azéri (conception : Orkhan Garayev) pour ce concours PostEurop.
Ces 2 timbres (valeurs : 0,5 manat, tirage : 16000) ont été imprimés dans un même feuillet composé de 8 timbres (4 de chaque) ainsi que dans un même bloc-feuillet (valeurs : 1 manat, tirage : 5000 blocs-feuillets).
Un grand merci Mahir pour l'envoi, le 17 sepetembre 2023 depuis Bakou, de cette jolie lettre affranchie avec le bloc-feuillet et les 2 timbres se-tenant extraits du feuillet !
Le 2ème timbre EUROPA ci-dessus représente une allégorie symbolisant le fait que c'est l'amour qui sauvera le monde et la paix, à travers ces 2 colombes de la paix volant autour d'un couple d'humains en sursis.
Les gens commencent en effet à perdre leur humanité, leur amitié et leur amour, tout devient matériel. Le manque d'amour pour le monde, le prochain, l'environnement détruit l'harmonie et la paix, que nous devons protéger autant que l'amour...
On July 10, 2023, Azerbaijan Post put its EUROPA series into circulation, with a stamp reproducing this common "Peace Knot" and another representing the Azeri project (design: Orkhan Garayev) for this PostEurop competition.
These 2 stamps (values: 0.5 manat, print run: 16,000) were printed in the same sheetlet made up of 8 stamps (4 of each) as well as in the same souvenir sheet (values: 1 manat, print run: 5,000 souvenir sheets).

The 2nd EUROPA stamp above represents an allegory symbolizing the fact that it is love that will save the world and peace, through these 2 doves of peace flying around a couple of humans on borrowed time.
People begin indeed to lose their humanity, their friendship and their love, everything becomes material. The lack of love for the world, the neighbor, the environment destroys harmony and peace, which we must protect as much as love...

A l'occasion de la foire internationale des collectionneurs "Sběratel" (version "Podzim" / automne), organisée à Prague du 8 au 9 septembre 2023, plusieurs administrations postales ont mis en circulation des oblitérations spéciales.
C'est le cas de la poste de la Cité du Vatican avec un joli TAD représentant quelques monuments emblématiques de la capitale tchèque (pont Charles, église Notre-Dame du Týn...).
Ce TAD a été appliqué en bas à gauche sur cette enveloppe, envoyée le 22 septembre 2023 depuis la Cité du Vatican, affranchie avec la série EUROPA émise le 16 mai 2023. Merci beaucoup Maxim !
Cette série (tirage : 44000) est composée d'un timbre reproduisant le "Nœud de la paix" commun (1,25€) et un autre (0,10€) représentant le moment où le pape François lors de son audience générale du 6 avril 2022 a parlé d'un drapeau ukrainien exposé qui est arrivé de la ville martyre de Bucha, où un terrible massacre venait d'avoir lieu. A noter la mention "Aux côtés des Ukrainiens, un peuple noble et martyr" en italien sur ce 2ème timbre. 
On the occasion of the international collectors' fair "Sběratel" ("Podzim" / autumn version), organized in Prague from September 8 to 9, 2023, several postal administrations put special postmarks into circulation.
This is the case of the Vatican City postal administration with a pretty postmark representing some emblematic monuments of the Czech capital (Charles Bridge, Church of Our Lady before Týn, etc.).
This postmark was applied at the bottom left on this envelope, sent on September 22, 2023 from Vatican City, franked with the EUROPA series issued on May 16, 2023. Thank you very much Maxim!
This series (print run: 44,000) is made up of a stamp reproducing the common "Peace Knot" (€1.25) and another (€0.10) depicting the moment when Pope Francis during his general audience on April 6, 2022 spoke about an exhibited Ukrainian flag that arrived from the martyred city of Bucha, where a terrible massacre had just taken place. To note the mention "Alongside the Ukrainians, a noble and martyred people" in Italian on this 2nd stamp.

C'est le cas de la poste slovaque avec un joli TAD représentant un timbre sur lequel est posé un pigeon, sans doute en référence au bloc-feuillet commun Slovaquie-République tchèque émis récemment concernant le 30ème anniversaire de la création des administrations postales des 2 pays.

Le 1er juin 2023, la poste du Kazakhstan a mis en circulation un timbre EUROPA unique (500 KZT), reproduisant ce "Nœud de la paix" commun, imprimé en feuillet de 8 timbres.
Ce timbre a été utilisé à droite sur la lettre ci-dessus envoyée le 6 septembre 2023 depuis la ville de Petropavl (nord du pays). Merci beaucoup Sergey ! 
Pour rappel, la poste du Kazakhstan émet des timbres EUROPA depuis 2005 alors qu'elle n'est officiellement membre de l'association des opérateurs postaux publics européens PostEurop que depuis 2011.
