Je suis de retour après quelques jours en famille pour fêter dignement Noël !
J'espère que vous avez passé également de bonnes fêtes et je vous souhaite pour 2008 une année encore plus timbrée que 2007 :-))
Une fois n'est pas coutume, je partage cette fin d'année avec vous...avec des monstres !
Ces monstres du groupe de hard-rock "Lordi" viennent de Finlande et ont remporté le fameux concours Eurovision de la Chanson en 2006 à Athènes. C'est donc la Finlande qui a eu l'honneur d'accueillir ce concours cette année. Et pour l'occasion, la Poste Finlandaise a émis le surprenant bloc de 4 timbres ci-dessous. For once, I share with you this end of the year...with monsters !
These monsters from the "Lordi" hard-rock band come from Finland and have won the famous Eurovision Song Contest in 2006, in Athens. Finland has therefore had the honor of hosting the contest this year. And for the occasion, the Finnish Post Office issued the surprising miniature sheet of 4 stamps below. Helsinki a donc organisé ce 52ème concours du 10 au 12 mai 2007.
Le bloc autocollant, émis le 9 mai, est donc composé de 4 timbres ayant la forme originale de lumières de projecteurs. Deux timbres représentent le groupe Lordi : celui d'en bas représente le chanteur (timbre dessiné par lui-même !) et l'autre les 5 membres du groupe, tous aussi monstrueux les uns que les autres...
Le timbre du haut représente le logo argenté de ce concours avec un coeur rempli par un drapeau finlandais.
Le 4ème timbre représente des artistes (célèbres ?) ayant représenté la Finlande lors de précédentes éditions de ce concours.
Laila Kinnunen, Marion Rung, Kirka Babitzin, Katri Helena...vous les aurez peut-être reconnus ?
Tout en haut du bloc figurent les années et les lieux où ses chanteurs se sont produits.
C'était la première fois que la Finlande remportait ce concours et pour la petite histoire, c'est la Serbie qui lui a succédé cette année.
Un futur timbre ou bloc-feuillet du côté de Belgrade ??
Helsinki has organized this 52nd contest from 10 to 12 May 2007.
The self-adhesive miniature sheet, issued May 9, is composed of 4 stamps with an original light projector's shape. Two stamps represent the "Lordi" Band : the one at the bottom represents the singer (stamp designed by himself ) and the other one the 5 members of the group, all as monstrous than the others...
The stamp at the top represents the silver logo of this contest with a heart filled with a Finnish flag.
The 4th stamp represents artists (famous ?) who represented Finland at previous editions of this contest.
Laila Kinnunen, Marion Rung, Mirka Babitzin, Katri Helena...you will maybe recognize them ?
At the top of the block, the years and the places where these singers have performed.
It was the first time that Finland won the contest and for the record, this is Serbia who has won this year.
A future stamp or souvenir sheet to come from Belgrade ??
