Nouveaux courriers d'Inde

New covers from India

Some interesting letters received from India this evening.
The first one was mailed on June 6, 2008 from Mangalore (Karnataka state), south-west of India. Thank you very much Raghavendra :-)
The big size stamp down is dedicated to the Bandipur National Park. It is part of a set of five stamps issued on May 31, 2007, devoted to indian National Parks.

The stamp in the upper right, issued on October 12, 2006, celebrates the 100th Anniversary of the Madhya Pradesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This "Middle State" is located in central India, with Bhopal as its capital, with a population approaching that of France !

The latest stamp, issued on December 14, 2004, commemorates the Energy Conservation National Day. A Subject always as important in industrial world powers like India or China...
