Expo 2010 Shanghai - Special Czech m/s

La république Tchèque a été un des 189 pays à participer à l'exposition internationale de Shanghai organisée de mai à octobre 2010, dont le thème était "Meilleure Ville, Meilleure Vie".
A ce titre, le pays a conçu et construit un pavillon sur un terrain de 2000 m2, dont les murs extérieurs blancs sont recouverts de 63415 palets de hockey en caoutchouc noir (symbolisant à la fois les exportations tchèques et ce sport très populaire dans le pays), le tout constituant une carte de la vieille ville de Prague.
Les expositions à l'intérieur de ce pavillon avaient pour thème "La ville est le fruit de la civilisation".
La poste tchèque a commémoré la participation du pays à cette Expo en émettant, le 10 février 2010, un intéressant bloc-feuillet composé d'un timbre à 35 Kč.
C'est ce bloc qui figure à droite sur la lettre recommandée ci-dessous, posté le 7 mars 2012 de Prague. Merci beaucoup Bret :-)
The Czech Republic was one of the 189 countries to participate at the World Expo held in Shanghai from May to October 2010, with the theme "Better City, Better Life".
The country has designed and built a pavilion on an area of 2000 m2, whose outer white walls are covered with 63,415 black rubber hockey pucks (symbolizing both Czech exports and this very popular sport in the country), the whole constituting a map of Prague old town.
The exhibition inside the pavilion had for theme "The city is the fruit of civilization".
The Czech Post has commemorated the country's participation at this Expo by issuing, on February 10, 2010, an interesting souvenir sheet consisting of a 35 Kč stamp.
It is that sheet that appears to the right on the registered letter below, mailed on March 7, 2012 from Prague. Thank you very much Bret :-)

Celui à 12 Kč, émis le 9 février 2011 dans la séries "Beautés de notre pays", commémore le 950ème anniversaire de la fondation de la ville de Cheb, située à l'extrême ouest du pays.
Ce timbre représente une maison caractéristique du quartier de Špalíček (13ème siècle), l'église Saint-Nicolas ainsi que l'intérieur de la chapelle romane (12ème siècle) du château de Cheb.
L'autre timbre (21 Kč), émis le 5 octobre 2011, annonce la Journée Mondiale de la Poste ("Světový den pošty" en tchèque) célébrée chaque année le 9 octobre.
Il reproduit une allégorie de l'illustrateur slovaque Dušan Kállay avec Hermès, le messager des dieux, jouant du cor (symbole postal) sur un globe terrestre autour duquel des colombes transportent des lettres...

The 12 Kč one, issued on February 9, 2011 in the series "Beauties of our country", commemorates the 950th anniversary of the founding of the town of Cheb, located in the far west of the country.
This stamp depicts a typical house in the neighborhood of Špalíček (13th century), the St. Nicolas Church and an inside view of the Romanesque chapel (12th century) of the castle of Cheb.
