"The Blue Rider" in Germany - FDC

Le 9 février 2012, la Deutsche Post a émis un très joli timbre (1,45€) consacré au 100ème anniversaire de la création du groupe d'artistes expressionnistes "Le Cavalier Bleu" ("Der Blaue Reiter") à Munich.
Ce groupe réunissant de grands peintres allemands (Franz Marc, August Macke, Gabriele Münter...) mais aussi français ou d'Europe de l'est, a ainsi été fondé à peine 7 ans après l'autre grand groupe expressionniste allemand "Die Brücke" ("Le Pont").
On February 9, 2012, the Deutsche Post has issued a beautiful stamp (€ 1.45) devoted to the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the group of Expressionist artists "The Blue Rider" ("Der Blaue Reiter") in Munich, Germany.
This group, bringing together some great German painters (Franz Marc, August Macke, Gabriele Münter...) but also French or Eastern Europe artists, has been founded only seven years after the other important German Expressionist group "Die Brücke "(" The Bridge").

C'est ce timbre qui figure sur le pli Premier Jour ci-dessus avec un timbre à date de Bonn, évoquant une oeuvre de Franz Marc (1880-1916) intitulée "La tour de chevaux bleus" ("Der Turm der blauen Pferde") peinte en 1913. Merci beaucoup Igor :-)
Ce groupe "Le Cavalier Bleu", à travers les nombreuses expositions organisées en Allemagne et en Europe, a joué un rôle important en Allemagne dans le développement de l'art moderne au début du 20ème siècle.
Les activités du groupe prendront fin après la 1ère guerre mondiale, en particulier après la mort au combat des 2 peintres Franz Marc et August Macke...
Le timbre ci-dessus reproduit une oeuvre emblématique du groupe, intitulée "Cheval Bleu I" peinte en 1911 par Franz Marc, conservée à la "Städtische Galerie im Lenbachhaus und Kunstbau" de Munich.
It is that stamp that appears on the first day cover above with a cancellation from Bonn, featuring a part of the painting by Franz Marc (1880-1916) entitled "The Tower of Blue Horses" ("Der Turm der blauen Pferde") dating from 1913. Thank you very much Igor :-)
This group "The Blue Rider", through the many exhibitions held in Germany and Europe, has played an important role in Germany in the development of modern art in the early 20th century.
