Les 17 et 18 septembre 2011 a eu lieu à travers toute la France et près de 50 pays européens, la 28ème édition des Journées européennes du Patrimoine, avec pour thème cette année "le voyage du patrimoine".
Ces journées sont ainsi l'occasion de (re)découvrir de nombreux musées, sites et monuments publics ou privés parfois fermés au public le reste de l'année.
Afin de faire partager de façon originale son riche patrimoine architectural, la ville d'Aix-en-Provence (le seule en France) a eu la bonne idée d'émettre une vignette LISA spécialement pour cette occasion !
On 17 and 18 September 2011 took place throughout France and in almost 50 European countries, the 28th edition of the European Heritage Days ("Journées européennes du Patrimoine" in French), with "The Heritage's Journey" for theme this year.
These Heritage Days are an opportunity to (re)discover many museums, public or private sites and monuments, sometimes closed to the public the rest of the year.
In order to share through an original way its rich architectural heritage, the French city of Aix-en-Provence (the only one in France) had the good idea of issuing a LISA ATM stamp for this occasion !
C'est cette vignette qui figure sur les 2 documents philatéliques intéressants ci-dessus et ci-dessous envoyés d'Aix-en-Provence (Bouches-du-Rhône) lors de ce week-end culturel. Merci beaucoup Joël :-)Cette vignette, imprimée sur papier thermique de type LISA 2, mise en page par Bruno Ghiringhelli, reproduit une aquarelle de Jean-Marie Gassend, architecte et archéologue rattaché au CNRS d'Aix-en-Provence.
Cette aquarelle représente les principaux monuments de la ville avec de gauche à droite : la fontaine des Quatre Dauphins (cachée derrière le logo de La Poste sur la vignette...), l'église Saint-Jean de Malte (le plus haut clocher de la ville), le beffroi de l'hôtel de ville, le clocher de l'ancien couvent des Augustins, la cathédrale Saint-Sauveur et le palais archiépiscopal.
It is this ATM stamp that appears on the two interesting philatelic pieces above and below mailed from Aix-en-Provence (department of Bouches-du-Rhône) during this cultural weekend. Thank you very much Joël :-)
This LISA, printed on (type LISA 2) thermal paper, designed by Bruno Ghiringhelli, is reproducing a watercolor by Jean-Marie Gassend, architect and archaeologist attached to the CNRS in Aix-en-Provence.
This watercolor depicts the most important monuments of the city with, from left to right : the Fountain of the Four Dolphins (hidden behind the logo of La Poste on the LISA...), the Church of St. John of Malta (the highest bell tower of the city), the belfry of the town hall, the bell tower of the former Augustinian convent, the St. Sauveur Cathedral and the Archbishop's Palace.
Joël m'a également envoyé la jolie carte maximum ci-dessus, représentant le clocher de la cathédrale Saint-Sauveur (construite entre le 12ème et le 16ème siècle).A noter que cette vignette ci-dessus au tarif prioritaire intérieur (0,60€) comporte la mention "Lettre Prioritaire" contrairement à la précédente. Les distributeurs automatiques permettent en effet soit d'éditer une vignette en choisissant le montant (minimum de 0,55€), soit en choisissant un usage postal (lettre prioritaire vers la France, vers le monde, lettre verte...).
A noter enfin que la célèbre montagne Sainte-Victoire, maintes fois peinte par Paul Cézanne, a également été représentée à droite sur cette vignette.
Joël has also sent me the nice maxicard above, representing the bell tower of St. Sauveur Cathedral (built between the 12th and 16th century).
To note that this ATM stamp, including the Priority domestic rate (€ 0.60), includes also the words "Lettre Prioritaire" ("Priority Letter") contrary to the previous one. Vending machines indeed allow to deliver ATM stamps by selecting the amount (minimum of € 0.55) or by selecting the postal use (Priority Letter to France, to the world, Green Letter now...).
It is worth noting to conclude that the famous Mont Sainte-Victoire, repeatedly painted by Paul Cézanne, has also been represented on this LISA's right part.
