"Stop Covid-19!" stamp on FDC from Kyrgyzstan (KEP)

Timbre "Stop Covid-19!" sur FDC du Kirghizstan (KEP)

Comme tous les pays du monde, le Kirghizstan n'a pas été épargné par la pandémie de Covid-19 qui a débuté en Chine au début de l'année 2020...
Plus de 90000 personnes ont été contaminées dans le pays à ce jour et plus de 1500 décès ont été recensés, la campagne de vaccination ayant commencé début avril 2021 à partir de 150000 doses offertes par le gouvernement chinois.
Comme d'autres administrations postales, la Kyrgyz Express Post (KEP), le 2ème opérateur postal désigné (l'autre étant la poste kirghize) du Kirghizstan, a mis en circulation le 30 décembre 2020 un timbre "Stop Covid-19!" sur cette thématique.

More than 90,000 people have been infected in the country to date and more than 1,500 deaths have been recorded, the vaccination campaign having started in early April 2021 from 150,000 doses offered by the Chinese government.
Like other postal administrations, the Kyrgyz Express Post (KEP), the 2nd designated postal operator (the other being the Kyrgyz Post) of Kyrgyzstan, put into circulation on December 30, 2020 a "Stop Covid-19!" stamp on this theme.

 

J'ai eu la chance de recevoir le FDC officiel ci-dessus (tirage : 250) concernant ce timbre (150 KGS, tirage : 5000), conçu par Maxim Cerevcov, avec TAD de Bichkek.  
Ce timbre a été émis avec une surcharge de 50 KGS au profit de la fondation de bienfaisance publique locale "Help the Children - SKD", créée en 2007 pour fournir une assistance aux enfants souffrant de cancer, de maladies hématologiques et immunologiques et à leurs familles.
Cette fondation contribue également à créer des conditions de travail optimales pour le personnel médical, en première ligne pendant cette période de lutte contre la pandémie.
I was lucky enough to receive the above official FDC (print run: 250) regarding this stamp (150 KGS, print run: 5,000), designed by Maxim Cerevcov, with postmarks from Bishkek.
This stamp was issued with a surcharge of 50 KGS to benefit the local public charitable foundation "Help the Children - SKD", established in 2007 to provide assistance to children suffering from cancer, hematological and immunological diseases and their families.
This foundation is also helping to create optimal working conditions for medical staff on the front line during this period of fight against the pandemic.

 

Ce timbre a été imprimé (par Nova Imprim en Moldavie) dans le feuillet ci-dessus composé de 5 timbres (tirage : 1000 feuillets) et d'une vignette en bas à gauche.
Ce timbre représente une jeune panthère des neiges (Panthera uncia), considérée comme l'animal national du Kirghizstan, une espèce vivant en Asie centrale et particulièrement menacée (moins de 500 individus recensés dans le pays), luttant contre le virus.
La KEP a également mis en circulation la jolie carte maximum ci-dessous (n° MC-72, tirage : 250) concernant ce timbre, en rupture de stock (tout comme le FDC), ce qui n'est pas surprenant tant cette thématique est populaire actuellement...

This stamp was printed (by Nova Imprim in Moldova) in the minisheet above composed of 5 stamps (print run: 1,000 minisheets) and a label at the bottom left.

This stamp depicts a young snow leopard (Panthera uncia), considered the national animal of Kyrgyzstan, a species living in Central Asia and particularly threatened (less than 500 individuals recorded in the country), fighting against the virus.

The KEP also put into circulation the pretty maxicard below (No MC-72, print run: 250) regarding this stamp, which is sold out (just like the FDC), which is not surprising as this theme is very popular ...
