"Traditional dishes" stamp set on cover from Bhutan

Série "Plats traditionnels" sur lettre du Bhoutan 

Un grand merci Edwin pour cette jolie lettre du Bhoutan, envoyée le 10 novembre 2025 depuis Tsirang, l'un des 20 dzongkhags (districts) qui constituent ce petit royaume situé dans l'est de la chaîne de l'Himalaya, enclavé entre l'Inde au sud et la Chine (Tibet) au nord.
Le 9 octobre 2015, la poste bhoutanaise a mis en circulation une intéressante série constituée d'un feuillet (9 timbres) et d'un bloc-feuillet (2 timbres), illustrant différents plats traditionnels du pays.
Les 3 timbres (15 BTN chacun) de la partie supérieure du feuillet ont été utilisés sur cette lettre.
Le timbre au centre est consacré à un plat appelé "Sikam Paa", considéré comme le véritable plat national du Bhoutan. C'est l'une des spécialités bhoutanaises les plus populaires.
Le Sikam Paa est composé de porc séché, d'oignons, de tomates, d'ail, de gingembre, de piments et de navets séchés. 
A big thank you Edwin for this lovely cover from Bhutan, sent on November 10, 2025 from Tsirang, one of the 20 dzongkhags (districts) which constitute this small kingdom located in the east of the Himalayan range, landlocked between India to the south and China (Tibet) to the north.
On October 9, 2015, the Bhutanese Post put into circulation an interesting series consisting of a sheetlet (9 stamps) and a souvenir sheet (2 stamps), illustrating different traditional dishes of the country.
The 3 stamps (15 BTN each) from the upper part of the sheetlet have been used on this cover.
The stamp in the center is dedicated to a dish called "Sikam Paa", considered the true national dish of Bhutan. It is one of the most popular Bhutanese delicacies. Sikam Paa is made with dried pork, onions, tomatoes, garlic, ginger, chillies and dried turnips.  

Le timbre à gauche représente une sorte de curry de poisson à la bhoutanaise appelé "Ngya Tshoem". Ce plat se déguste idéalement avec du riz brun bhoutanais.
Le dernier timbre à droite illustre un plat appelé "Kewa Datshi", littéralement "pommes de terre et fromage", un autre délicieux plat bhoutanais, une sorte de sauce épaisse à base de pommes de terre, de piments et de fromage. Ce plat est souvent servi comme une soupe ou avec du riz.
The stamp on the left depicts a kind of Bhutanese-style fish curry called "Ngya Tshoem". This dish is ideally enjoyed with Bhutanese brown rice.
The last stamp on the right illustrates a dish called "Kewa Datshi", literally "potatoes and cheese", another delicious Bhutanese dish, a kind of thick gravy made from potatoes, chili peppers and cheese. This dish is often served as a soup or with rice.  

"Christmas 2025" stamp set and "Merry Christmas" postmark on cover from Luxembourg

Série "Noël 2025" et TAD "Joyeux Noël" sur lettre du Luxembourg 

Le 25 novembre 2025, la poste du Luxembourg a mis en circulation, comme de coutume, sa série "Noël 2025" (2 timbres), illustrant cette année l'atmosphère particulière des marchés de Noël aux nombreuses traditions.
Cette série à été conçue par l'artiste britannique Ben Carter (qui vit au Luxembourg), connu pour son style unique alliant langage visuel clair marqué par des éléments architecturaux et scènes reflétant une atmosphère particulière, ce qui se traduit par une ambiance festive restant toutefois élégante et équilibrée. 
Ces 2 timbres de bienfaisance (tirage : 110004), imprimés en France par Cartor Security Printing avec un vernis spécial "Glow in the dark", ont été utilisés sur la lettre ci-dessous envoyée le 18 décembre 2025 depuis Luxembourg, la capitale. A noter cet élégant TAD spécial illustré "Joyeux Noël" incluant différentes décorations d'arbres de Noël.
On November 25, 2025, the Luxembourg Post put into circulation, as usual, its "Christmas 2025" series (two stamps). This year's series illustrates the unique atmosphere of Christmas markets and their many traditions.
This stamp set was designed by British artist Ben Carter (who lives in Luxembourg), known for his distinctive style that combines a clear visual language marked by architectural elements and scenes reflecting a particular atmosphere, resulting in a festive yet elegant and balanced ambiance.
These two charity stamps (print run: 110,004), printed in France by Cartor Security Printing with a special "glow-in-the-dark" varnish, have been used on the cover below, sent on December 18, 2025, from Luxembourg City. To note this elegant special "Merry Christmas" ("Joyeux Noël") illustrated postmark, which includes various Christmas tree decorations.  

Le timbre à gauche (1,20€ + 0,10€) représente la grande roue de Luxembourg-ville, devenue l'emblème rayonnant du marché "Winterlights" pendant la période de l'Avent. En arrière-plan, la Gëlle Fra (Monument du souvenir) et la cathédrale Notre-Dame, symboles marquants de la capitale, se dressent dans un décor hivernal de Noël.
L'autre timbre (1,70€ + 0,15€) illustre la pyramide de Noël typique, qui symbolise la joie de l'Avent et la tradition, dans la ville d'Esch-sur-Alzette. Là encore, un bâtiment familier de la ville, la maison communale, est plongé dans une ambiance festive qui met en valeur le charme particulier de la période précédant Noël. 
The stamp on the left (€1.20 + €0.10) depicts the Ferris wheel in Luxembourg City, which has become the radiant emblem of the "Winterlights" market during Advent. In the background, the Gëlle Fra (Monument of Remembrance) and Notre-Dame Cathedral, prominent symbols of the capital, stand out in a wintery Christmas scene.
The other stamp (€1.70 + €0.15) illustrates the typical Christmas pyramid, which symbolizes the joy of Advent and tradition, in the city of Esch-sur-Alzette. Here again, one of the city's familiar buildings, the city hall, is depicted in a festive manner, highlighting the special charm of the weeks in the runup to Christmas.

Ci-dessus la carte spéciale envoyée par la poste luxembourgeoise à l'occasion de Noël et des festivités de fin d'année, incluant le timbre de Noël "Luxembourg-ville" et TAD Premier Jour "Pyramide de Noël d'Esch-sur-Alzette". 
These two stamps have been each printed in sheet of 12 stamps.
