Bloc-feuillet "Premiers timbres de la KEP, 10ème anniversaire" sur FDC du Kirghizstan
Le 18 novembre 2014, la Kyrgyz Express Post (KEP) mettait en circulation ses premiers timbres (circulaire de l'UPU validant sa création, moyens de transports).
Pour la première fois au monde, un second opérateur postal officiellement désigné d'un pays (l'autre étant l'opérateur historique, la Kyrgyz Post) proposait alors aux usagers et aux philatélistes ses propres timbres-poste, valables pour l'affranchissement, suite à validation de l'UPU.
Toutes les émissions de timbres de la KEP sont réalisées avec l'approbation et le plein soutien du gouvernement du Kirghizstan.
Avec quelques mois de retard, la Kyrgyz Express Post a célébré le 10ème anniversaire de l'émission de ses premiers timbres en mettant en circulation, le 27 juin 2025, un bloc-feuillet (avec millésime 2024) composé de 2 timbres (150 KGS chacun, tirage : 3400).
Ce bloc-feuillet, conçu par Daria Maier à partir d'illustrations de Nadezhda Kornitsel, figure sur le FDC officiel ci-dessous (tirage : 300), envoyé le 10 septembre 2025 depuis Bichkek, la capitale.
On November 18, 2014, the Kyrgyz Express Post (KEP) issued its first stamps (UPU circular validating its creation, means of transport).
For the first time in the world, a second officially designated postal operator in a country (the other being the incumbent operator, Kyrgyz Post) provided postal users and philatelists with its own distinct postage stamps as valid postage, following validation by the UPU.
All KEP stamp issues are produced with the approval and full support of the Kyrgyz government.
A few months late, the Kyrgyz Express Post celebrated the 10th anniversary of its first stamp issue by releasing, on June 27, 2025, a souvenir sheet (dated 2024) containing two stamps (150 KGS each, print run: 3,400).
This souvenir sheet, designed by Daria Maier from illustrations by Nadezhda Kornitsel, appears on the official FDC below (print run: 300), sent on September 10, 2025 from Bishkek, the capital.
Imprimé en Moldavie par Nova Imprim, ce bloc-feuillet illustre le processus créatif de la conception des timbres de la KEP à gauche et d'autres produits philatéliques (carte-maximum...) à droite.
La plupart des timbres de la KEP sont en effet conçus par de grands artistes (la plupart sont moldaves) comme Vitaliu Pogolșa, Vladimir Melnic, Oleg et Aliona Cojocari, Daria Maier, Lilian Iaţco...
Le timbre observé sous une loupe, à gauche sur l'enveloppe, fait partie d'une splendide série (4 timbres, conception : Vladimir Melnic) émise le 19 novembre 2014, illustrant la faune du Kirghizstan, une panthère des neiges (Panthera uncia) ici.
Les thèmes des émissions de timbres de la KEP sont toujours liés au Kirghizstan et mettent en valeur les richesses naturelles, la faune et la flore du pays, promeuvent son histoire ainsi que ses réalisations économiques, sociales et culturelles, et contribuent au renforcement de la coopération internationale du Kirghizstan avec les autres états.

Most KEP stamps are indeed designed by renowned artists (most of them Moldovan) such as Vitaliu Pogolșa, Vladimir Melnic, Oleg and Aliona Cojocari, Daria Maier, Lilian Iașco, and others.
The stamp viewed under a magnifying glass, on the left on the envelope, is part of a splendid series (4 stamps, design: Vladimir Melnic) issued on November 19, 2014, depicting the fauna of Kyrgyzstan, specifically a snow leopard (Panthera uncia) here.
The themes of KEP stamp issues are always linked to Kyrgyzstan and highlight the country's natural resources, fauna and flora, promote its history as well as its economic, social and cultural achievements, and contribute to strengthening Kyrgyzstan's international cooperation with other countries.
