Timbre et LISA "Salon philatélique de printemps - Salon-de-Provence" sur FDCs de France
Sauf erreur, la CNEP (Chambre syndicale française des Négociants et Experts en Philatélie) organise ce Salon philatélique de printemps depuis 1980, ayant lieu chaque année dans une ville différente, en alternance avec Paris la plupart du temps.
Après Paris en 2023, c'est donc une ville de province, Salon-de-Provence (Bouches-du-Rhône) qui a organisé ce Salon philatélique de printemps en 2024, du 4 au 6 avril.
Sauf erreur également, le premier timbre officiel émis par la poste française à l'occasion d'un salon philatélique de printemps date de 2007 (Limoges) sans toutefois mentionner ce salon (le 1er timbre le mentionnant date de 2013 à Mâcon). La première vignette LISA mise en circulation lors d'un Salon philatélique de printemps date de 2002 (Nîmes) a priori.
Lors de ce Salon philatélique de printemps 2024, comme de coutume, un timbre et une vignette LISA consacrés à cette ville de Salon-de-Provence ont été mis en circulation.
Unless I'm mistaken, the CNEP (French Trade Union Chamber of Philately Traders and Experts) has been organizing this Salon philatélique de printemps ("Spring Stamp Show") since 1980, taking place each year in a different city, alternating with Paris most of the time.
After Paris in 2023, it is therefore a provincial town, Salon-de-Provence (Bouches-du-Rhône) which organized this Spring Stamp Show in 2024, from April 4 to 6.
Unless I'm mistaken again, the first official stamp issued by the French Post on the occasion of a Spring Stamp Show dates from 2007 (Limoges) without however mentioning this show (the first stamp mentioning it dates from 2013 in Mâcon). The first LISA ATM stamp put into circulation during a Spring Stamp Show dates from 2002 (Nîmes) a priori.
During this Spring Stamp Show 2024, as usual, a stamp and a LISA ATM stamp dedicated to this city of Salon-de-Provence were put into circulation.
Ce timbre (1,29€, tirage : 702000), conçu et gravé par Christophe Laborde-Balen, et cette LISA (Lettre Verte - 1,29€, avec code matriciel ici, tirage : 25000), également conçue par Christophe Laborde-Balen, figurent sur la lettre ci-dessus envoyée le Premier Jour d'émission depuis Salon-de-Provence. Le timbre représente trois lieux emblématiques de la ville : la tour de l'horloge (construite entre 1626 et 1664), l'un des plus beaux campaniles de la région avec son horloge, ses 3 cloches et son mouvement indiquant les phases de la lune, le château de l'Empéri, dominant la ville ancienne, le plus grand château médiéval de Provence au 13ème siècle (il fut la résidence des archevêques d'Arles), encore aujourd'hui un des trois plus grands châteaux forts de Provence et la Fontaine Moussue, le symbole de la ville, qui existait déjà au 16ème siècle. Ce n'est qu'après la Seconde Guerre mondiale que les concrétions calcaires, puis la mousse et la végétation se sont développées, donnant à cette fontaine la forme d'un champignon.

The stamp features three emblematic places in the city: the clock tower (built between 1626 and 1664), one of the most beautiful campaniles in the region with its clock, its 3 bells and its movement indicating the phases of the moon, the Château de l'Empéri, dominating the old town, the largest medieval castle in Provence in the 13th century (it was the residence of the archbishops of Arles), still today one of the three largest fortified castles in Provence and the Fontaine Moussue, the symbol of the city, which already existed in the 16th century. It was only after the Second World War that limestone concretions, then moss and vegetation developed, giving this fountain the shape of a mushroom.

Le TAD associé au timbre représente le blason de Salon-de-Provence, un léopard tenant dans ses pattes un écusson avec une fleur de lys. En 1564, la ville reçoit le roi de France Charles IX et sa mère Catherine de Médicis et, à cette occasion, le roi accorde à la ville ces nouvelles armoiries.
A noter que les 2 machines de type NABANCO installées à Salon-de-Provence délivraient des vignettes LISA différentes (avec ou sans code matriciel), la vignette LISA ci-dessus (Lettre Verte - 1,29€) étant dépourvue de ce code matriciel.
Cette vignette (ainsi que son TAD associé) représente la façade de l'hôtel de ville de Salon-de-Provence, construite en pierres dorées, dans un pur style classique, à partir de la 2ème moitié du 17ème siècle.

The postmark associated with the stamp depicts the coat of arms of Salon-de-Provence, a leopard holding in its paws a shield with a fleur-de-lis. In 1564, the city received the King of France Charles IX and his mother Catherine de Medici and, on this occasion, the king granted the city these new coats of arms.
To note that the two NABANCO type machines installed in Salon-de-Provence delivered different LISA ATM stamps (with or without matrix code), the LISA above (Green Letter - €1.29) being devoid of this matrix code.
This LISA (as well as its associated postmark) represents the facade of the town hall of Salon-de-Provence, built in golden stones, in a pure classical style, from the 2nd half of the 17th century.
Lors de ce Salon philatélique de printemps à Salon-de-Provence, La Poste offrait aux visiteurs la jolie carte spéciale ci-dessus, incluant dans la partie gauche les trois monuments présents sur le timbre, appliqué à droite avec son TAD Premier Jour associé.
During this Spring Stamp Show in Salon-de-Provence, La Poste offered visitors the pretty special card above, including in the left part the three monuments present on the stamp, applied on the right with its associated First Day cancellation.
