Tribute to actor Chiril Ştirbu in Moldova

Merci beaucoup Nicolae :-)
In a post published in February 2015, I referred to the prepaid envelope issued on January 17, 2015 by the Post of Moldova, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of four actors of cinema and theater from Moldova : Chiril Ştirbu (1915-1997), Victor Gherlac (1915-2007), Arcadie Plăcintă (1915-1995) and Mefodie Apostolov (1915-2004).
I've again received this envelope (design by Oleg Cojocari) with this time a special postmark from Chisinau of March 15, 2015 specifically devoted to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Chiril Ştirbu. Thank you very much Nicolae :-)

Chiril Ştirbu was primarily a theater actor, in particular from 1940 at the state drama theater "A. S. Pushkin", today the National Theatre "Mihai Eminescu" in Chisinau.
Among his hundred theatrical roles in more than 50-year career, Chiril Ştirbu marked the audience through his roles of Schweik in "Schweik in the Second World War" by Brecht in 1962 or in "King Lear" by Shakespeare in 1961.
On the illustration to the left on this envelope, Ştirbu is featured (at the top right) in the role of the writer Ion Creangă in the play "Amintiri" ("Memories") by Valeriu Cupcea in 1976.

Nicolae used two other stamps on the other side of this envelope above.
The stamp on the left (L 2.50) is part of the sixth definitive series (5 stamps) issued on August 13, 1994, depicting the coat of arms of the country.
I've already mentioned on this blog the other stamp on the right (L 1.20), being part of a set of 6 stamps, issued on March 7, 2015, dedicated to coats of arms of Moldovan cities, the city of Orhei here.

Nicolae also sent me this postcard (front above, verso below), released on March 29, 2013, devoted to the 25th anniversary of the creation of the house-museum Alexei Mateevici (1888-1917), located in the birthplace of this significant Moldovan poet, writer, activist, professor and theologian.
This card shows a sculpture (by Mihai Ecobici) of Alexei Mateevici in front of this house located in the village of Zaim (Căuşeni district) in the south-east of the country.
The preprinted stamp (L 1.30) on the other side of this card (print run : 1500, design : Alexandr Kornienko), also shows the top part of this statue.

To note that the Post of Moldova had issued, on August 28, 2013, a souvenir sheet dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the birth of Alexei Mateevici.
The illustration on the First Day Cover showed the Mateevici's family on a photograph dating from 1902, in front of that same house in Zaim.
