"First interpretation of the national anthem" stamp on cover from Andorra (French Post)

Timbre "Première interprétation de l'hymne national" sur lettre d'Andorre 

L'histoire de la première interprétation de l'hymne national de la Principauté d'Andorre, "El Gran Carlemany" ("Le grand Charlemagne"), est longue et marquée par les événements du début du 20ème siècle.
Cet hymne a été écrit par l'évêque d'Urgell et co-prince d'Andorre entre 1907 et 1919, Juan Benlloch y Vivó (1864-1926), et composé par le prêtre, organiste et compositeur Enric Marfany i Gosset (1877-1957) en 1914.
Cet hymne a en effet été officieusement interprété pour la première fois en 1914, lors de la première célébration de Notre-Dame de Meritxell, le jour de la fête nationale en Andorre.
La partition " El Gran Carlemany " a été imprimée pour la première fois à Barcelone en 1914. L'hymne est devenu officiel par accord du Conseil général le 2 avril 1917 et n'a été officiellement interprété que le 8 septembre 1921 à l'issue des célébrations de la canonisation de la Vierge de Meritxell, patronne d'Andorre. 
The history of the first interpretation of the national anthem of the Principality of Andorra, "El Gran Carlemany" ("The Great Charlemagne"), is long and marked by the events of the beginning of the 20th century.
This anthem was written by the Bishop of Urgell and Co-Prince of Andorra between 1907 and 1919, Juan Benlloch y Vivó (1864-1926), and composed by the priest, organist and composer Enric Marfany i Gosset (1877-1957) in 1914.
This anthem has indeed been informally interpreted for the first time in 1914, at the first celebration of Our Lady of Meritxell, the National Day in Andorra.
The partition "El Gran Carlemany" was printed for the first time in Barcelona in 1914. The anthem became official by agreement of the General Council on April 2, 1917 and was officially interpreted only on September 8, 1921 at the celebrations of the canonization of the Virgin of Meritxell, patroness of Andorra.

 

Les paroles de cet hymne rappellent la légende selon laquelle la Principauté d'Andorre aurait été fondée par Charlemagne en 788.
Le 6 septembre 2021, la poste française en Andorre a mis en circulation un joli timbre (1,28€) à l'occasion du 100ème anniversaire (jour pour jour) de la 1ère interprétation officielle de cet hymne national.
Ce timbre (tirage : 70500), conçu par Francesc Ribó et représentant 3 oiseaux arborant les couleurs du drapeau national (bleu, jaune, rouge), chantant sur une clé de sol, figure sur cette lettre envoyée depuis le dernier Salon Philatélique d'Automne organisé à Paris du 4 au 7 novembre 2021. The words of this anthem recall the legend that the Principality of Andorra would have been founded by Charlemagne in 788.
On September 6, 2021, the French Post in Andorra put into circulation a pretty stamp (€ 1.28) on the occasion of the 100th anniversary (to the day) of the first official interpretation of this national anthem.
This stamp (print run: 70,500), designed by Francesc Ribó and depicting 3 birds with the colors of the national flag (blue, yellow, red), singing on a treble key, was used on this letter sent from the last "Salon Philatélique d'Automne" organized in Paris from 4 to 7 November 2021.
