Un court message pour partager avec vous cette intéressante lettre postée le 9 juin 2012 de Shanghai, le premier jour d'émission d'une nouvelle série de la poste chinoise consacrée à des meubles anciens datant des dynasties Ming et Qing.

Cette série de 4 timbres (1,20 yuan chacun), conçue par Ma Gang et Yu Shan, a la particularité d'avoir été émise dans 2 feuillets composés chacun de 6 paires de timbres.

A short post to share with today you this interesting cover mailed on June 9, 2012 from Shanghai, China on the first day of issue of a new series of the China Post devoted to antique furniture dating from the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

To note the special postmarks, different however from the First Day cancellations.

This set of four stamps (1.20 yuan each), designed by Ma Gang and Yu Shan, has the particularity of having been issued in two sheets, each consisting of six pairs of stamps.

Les 2 paires de timbres figurant sur cette lettre ci-dessus ont ainsi été extraites de ces 2 feuillets différents incluant des marges avec des mentions en chinois (quelle signification ?).
Les 2 timbres à gauche représentent deux tables en bois de poirier : un table à dessin datant de la dynastie Ming (1368-1644) et une table carrée ouvragée avec des motifs de dragons datant de la dynastie Qing (1644-1912).
Les 2 autre timbres se-tenant à droite montrent une petite table à encens avec un plateau en pierre ainsi qu'une table avec des pieds ouvragés comportant des motifs d'éléphants (datant toutes les 2 de la dynastie Ming).

The two pairs of stamps appearing on the letter above have been extracted from these two different sheets including margins with mentions in Chinese (what do they mean ?).

The two stamps on the left depict two pear wood tables : a drawing table dating from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and a square table carved with dragon designs dating from the Qing Dynasty (1644-1912).

The other two se-tenant stamps to the right feature a small incense table with a stone surface as well as a table with carved legs with elephant designs (dating all from the Ming Dynasty).
