EUROPA 2016 stamp on FDC from San Marino : Think Green !

After Sweden, Azerbaijan and Liechtenstein, the postal administration of the Republic of San Marino (AASFN) is the 4th European Post having put into circulation its EUROPA stamp in 2016, precisely on March 10th.
As you probably know, as part of the the 60th anniversary of the issue of the first EUROPA stamps, the postal organization PostEurop organized a competition to designate the joint design reproduced on the EUROPA stamps in 2016 on the theme of ecology ("Think Green").
Among the 24 projects submitted, the one presented by the Post of Cyprus was chosen (29 votes ahead the projects of the Posts of Slovenia and Hungary), 36 member countries having participated in this vote.

So it's the drawing designed by Doxia Sergidou which is reproduced on the EUROPA stamp of San Marino used on this nice illustrated FDC above. Thank you very much Salvatore !
That stamp (€ 1.00, print run : 50,400) was printed by Cartor Security Printing in sheet of 12 stamps.
Doxia Sergidou explains the genesis of her stamp : "the main purpose was to show that it is in our hand to create a greener planet. Thus, I've placed a hand on the top side of the stamp which basically represents anyone of us, actively replacing the grey colour (the environmental pollution) with the green colour which symbolizes environmental living and hope, and in turn inspire us for a better world".
To note that San Marino issued only that stamp, many postal administrations having planned to issue a 2nd EUROPA stamp in addition to this joint design...
