Basketball (KK Partizan) and Rowing (Red Star) clubs stamps on cover from Serbia

Clubs de basket-ball (KK Partizan) et d'aviron (Étoile Rouge) sur lettre de Serbie

En plein contexte de guerre en Yougoslavie, la victoire du club du KK Partizan de Belgrade lors du Final Four de l'Euroligue de basket-ball à Istanbul le 16 avril 1992 est resté dans les mémoires.
Lors de cette compétition, le club a dû même jouer la presque totalité de ses rencontres préliminaires à domicile en dehors du pays, à Fuenlabrada en Espagne.
En demi-finale, les joueurs du jeune entraîneur Željko Obradović battent les italiens de Milan puis le club espagnol de Joventut Badalone en finale (71-70) grâce à ses deux arrières Predrag Danilović et Aleksandar Djordjević, qui marque le panier de la victoire à 3 points à 4 secondes de la fin du match !
Le 14 avril 2022, la poste serbe a mis en circulation une intéressante série (2 timbres) consacrée au 30ème anniversaire de ce trophée de vainqueur de l'Euroligue de basket-ball du KK Partizan.
In the midst of the war in Yugoslavia, the victory of the KK Partizan club from Belgrade in the Final Four of the Euroleague basketball in Istanbul on April 16, 1992 is remembered.
During this competition, the club had even to play almost all of its preliminary matches at home outside the country, in Fuenlabrada in Spain.
In the semi-finals, the players of young coach Željko Obradović beat the Italians of Milan then the Spanish club of Joventut Badalone in the final (71-70) thanks to his two backs Predrag Danilović and Aleksandar Djordjević, who scored the winning basket at 3 points with only 4 seconds remaining!
On April 14, 2022, the Serbian Post released an interesting set (2 stamps) dedicated to the 30th anniversary of this KK Partizan's Euroleague basketball winner trophy.

 
Ces 2 timbres (30 dinars, tirage : 25000), conçus par Dino Stevanović et imprimés dans un même feuillet composé de 8 timbres (4 de chaque) + 1 vignette centrale, ont été utilisé à droite (avec la vignette !) sur cette lettre envoyée le 6 juillet 2022 depuis la ville de Novi Sad. Merci beaucoup Antea !
Ces 2 timbres représentent Aleksandar Djordjević à gauche et l'entraineur Željko Obradović à droite, de nouveau entraîneur du KK Partizan (club fondé en 1945) depuis 2021. Željko Obradović est considéré comme l'un des meilleurs entraîneurs de l'histoire, ayant remporté l'Euroligue à 9 reprises, avec 5 clubs différents.
L'autre timbre à gauche (30 dinars, tirage : 25000), émis le 6 juin 2022 et également imprimé en feuillet de 8 timbres + 1 vignette centrale, est consacré au 100ème anniversaire du club d'aviron de l'Étoile Rouge de Belgrade.
Le club d'aviron de Belgrade a été fondé le 6 juin 1922 et le 4 mars 1945, il est devenu l'un des fondateurs de la Red Star Sports Association et s'appelle depuis le club d'aviron de l'Étoile Rouge (Red Star).
Plus de 20000 athlètes ont ramé pour ce club, dont 3500 ont représenté le club dans les équipes nationales de Yougoslavie puis de Serbie, aux championnats d'Europe et du monde et aux jeux olympiques.

These 2 stamps represent player Aleksandar Djordjević on the left and coach Željko Obradović on the right, again coach of KK Partizan (club founded in 1945) since 2021. Željko Obradović is considered one of the best coaches in history, having won this Euroleague 9 times, with 5 different clubs.
The other stamp on the left (30 dinars, print run: 25,000), issued on June 6, 2022 and also printed in a sheetlet of 8 stamps + 1 central label, is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Red Star rowing club of Belgrade.
Belgrade Rowing Club was founded on June 6, 1922, and on March 4, 1945, it became one of the founders of the Red Star Sports Association and has since been called the Red Star Rowing Club.
More than 20,000 athletes have rowed for this club, of which 3,500 have represented the club in the national teams of Yugoslavia and then Serbia, at the European and World Championships and at the Olympic Games.
