Collector's stamp "La Poste du Louvre" on cover from France

Inaugurated on January 10, 2022, the new "Poste du Louvre", completely renovated, finally reopened its doors to the public on January 18, 2022, after almost 6 years of work.
This Haussmannian building housing, among other things, this post office, was completed in 1887 and designed by the architect Julien Guadet. Located in the heart of Paris, this historic building as a whole indeed underwent major renovation work between the beginning of 2016 and the end of 2021, a vast and ambitious architectural and urban project designed by Dominique Perrau, associated with Jean- François Lagneau, chief architect of historical monuments.
On January 18, 2022, the French Post put into circulation a "collector" consisting of 4 different self-adhesive stamps at the permanent "International" rate (sale price: €8.50, print run: 8,000 collectors), dedicated to the reopening of this historic building of the "La Poste du Louvre".

One of the 4 stamps of this collector was used on this letter sent on June 22, 2022 from this post office, with postmark "La Poste du Louvre" representing part of the main facade of the building, including a clock surmounted by a bell tower with three bells. Many thanks Maxim!
This stamp illustrates in particular the work of transformation of the building which revealed, hidden under false ceilings, murals dating from 1887.
The completely transformed new "Poste du Louvre" offers, around a central open-air courtyard, shops, restaurants and accommodation, office space, services to the population as well as the historic post office. More than ever, the building asserts itself as a place rich in its past and adapted to contemporary issues.
As a reminder, this post office is unique in France because it provides a unique service to individuals, companies and administrations by being open every day until midnight.
