Stamp Day 2009 in Portugal

Le 1er décembre 2009 était célébré au Portugal la Journée du Timbre ("Dia do selo"). Une exposition philatélique était organisée à Braga à cette occasion par le club de philatélie et des collectionneurs de la ville.
Un cachet spécial a été émis ce jour-là, représentant la façade de la basilique des Congregados dont la construction a débuté en 1703 par l'architecte André Soares. Cette église n'a été achevée qu'au 20ème siècle avec par exemple l'installation de 2 statues sur la façade en 1964...
On December 1, 2009 was celebrated in Portugal the Stamp Day ("Dia do selo"). A Stamp Exhibition was held in Braga on that occasion by the philatelic and collectors association of the city.
A special postmark was issued that day, depicting the facade of the Basilica of Congregados whose construction started in 1703 by architect André Soares. This Church was not completed until the 20th century with for example the installation of two statues on the facade only in 1964...

La poste portugaise a aussi commercialisé, pendant cette exposition philatélique à Braga, un timbre personnalisé reproduisant une photographie de cette même église des Congregados.
A noter qu'un autre timbre à date spécial consacré à cette Journée du Timbre 2009 était aussi proposé dans la ville de Portimão (région de l'Algarve), représentant le théâtre municipal de cette ville. Le congrès national de la FPF (Fédération portugaise de philatélie), l'équivalent de la FFAP en France, avait d'ailleurs lieu à Portimão.
Le timbre à 0,68€ ci-dessus fait partie de la série de timbres, émis le 21 octobre 2009, consacrée à Noël ("Natal" en portugais).

The Portuguese Post has also sold during this philatelic exhibition in Braga, a personalized stamp featuring a photograph of the same Church of Congregados.
Note that another special postmark dedicated to this same Stamp Day 2009 was also proposed in the town of Portimão (Algarve), depicting the Municipal Theater of this city. The national congress of the FPF (Portuguese Federation of Philately), the equivalent of the FFAP in France, was also held in Portimão.
The € 0.68 stamp above is part of the series, issued on October 21, 2009, devoted to Christmas ("Natal" in Portuguese).

La poste portugaise n'avait plus émis de timbres consacrés à Noël depuis 2004 (le 19 novembre) et une jolie série de 5 timbres reproduisant différentes oeuvres d'art religieux.
Un thème plus "grand public" a été choisi cette année avec différents dessins très colorés de João Machado mettant en scène un sympathique père noël...
En plus de cette série de 4 timbres, la poste portugaise a aussi émis un bloc-feuillet, composé de 2 timbres, incluant le logo de l'exposition philatélique "Italia 2009" organisée à Rome du 21 au 25 octobre 2009.

The CTT Correios hadn't issued any stamps devoted to Christmas since 2004 (on November, 19) with a nice set of five stamps reproducing different works of religious art.
A more "general public" topic has been chosen this year with various very colorful drawings by João Machado featuring a pleasant Santa Claus...
In addition to this set of four stamps, the Portuguese Post has also issued a souvenir sheet consisting of two stamps, including the logo of the "Italia 2009" Stamp Show held in Rome from 21 to 25 October 2009.
