Le timbre EUROPA 2012 le plus amusant !

The funniest EUROPA stamp issued in 2012 !

It is the comics writer and artist from Bern, Max Spring, who has designed this year the EUROPA stamp issued by the Swiss Post.
Each European postal administration was free to interpret in its own way the theme "Visit ..." chosen this year by the organization PostEurop and the Swiss Post has shown some uniqueness !
This stamp (CHF 1.00), issued on May 9, 2012 (the Europe Day), appears to the right on the cover below mailed on the first day of issue from Geuensee.
Thank you very much Vural :-)
To note that the Swiss Post has also published a set of three "invitation" cards, also designed by Max Spring, in connection with this stamp issue.

Max Spring has not chosen to feature on this stamp the beautiful Swiss countryside or its rich heritage but has called upon our family intimacy with particularly the complex relationships with mothers-in-law !
We thus can see on that stamp an unannounced visit of the mother-in-law received on an house's landing with a wry smile of the daughter-in-law and a forced smile of the grandson :))
The humor and the experience of living have thus prevailed on this EUROPA stamp, probably the funniest and disconcerting of the year !
Vural has also used a charity stamp (0.40 + 0.20 CHF) being part of the series "Pro Juventute" (four stamps) issued on November 26, 1981. For four years (from 1978 to 1981), the Swiss Post has dedicated this series "Pro Juventute" to coats of arms of municipalities in Switzerland, to the town of Torre (Canton of Ticino) here.
To note that Torre has merged since 2006 with four other municipalities to form the new town of Blenio...
