Le 7 mai 2015, la poste croate a émis une jolie série de 2 timbres dans le cadre des émissions EUROPA dont le thème cette année est consacré aux "jouets anciens" ("stare igračke" en croate).
Conçus par Tomislav Vlainić, designer et graphiste de Split, ces 2 timbres (tirage : 300000 chacun) figurent sur la jolie lettre ci-dessous, postée le 12 mai 2015 de la ville de Rijeka. Merci beaucoup Dragan :-)
Dragan a inclus sur cette enveloppe le TAD Premier Jour ("Prvi dan") montrant un jouet de type To-Tak également présent sur un des 2 timbres (4,60 kn), et incluant le célèbre logo EUROPA.
L'autre timbre (7,60 kn) de cette série représente une poupée en porcelaine.
On May 7, 2015, the Croatian Post has issued a nice set of two EUROPA stamps whose theme this year is devoted to "old toys" ("stare igračke" in Croatian).
Designed by Tomislav Vlainić, designer from Split, these two stamps (print run : 300,000 each) were used on the nice letter below, mailed on May 12, 2015 from the city of Rijeka. Thank you very much Dragan :-)
Dragan included on this envelope the First Day ("Prvi dan") cancellation showing a To-Tak toy also present on one of the two stamps (4.60 kn), and including the famous EUROPA logo.
The other stamp (7.60 kn) of this series is depicting a porcelain doll.
Ce jeu To-Tak (et son slogan "L'art comme un jeu et le jeu comme un art"), conçu en 1965 par le sculpteur Ante Jakić (1930-1996), est un jeu ludique composé de 14 éléments en bois tourné, de diverses tailles et formes, pouvant être assemblés dans un nombre illimité de combinaisons afin de représenter des formes d'animaux.
Ce jeu avait déjà remporté un 1er prix lors de la biennale de design industriel de Ljubljana en 1966...
Une poupée avec une tête en porcelaine figure sur le timbre ci-dessus à droite. L'âge d'or de ce type de poupée date de la fin du 19ème siècle et du début du 20ème siècle, avec des productions principalement en Autriche, France et en Allemagne.
La poupée à l'honneur ici, portant le costume folklorique de la région de Posavina, a été fabriquée par la célèbre marque allemande "Armand Marseille" qui produisait à cette époque plus de 3 millions de tête en porcelaine par an.
This To-Tak game (and its slogan "Art as play and play as art"), designed in 1965 by sculptor Ante Jakić (1930-1996), is a ludic game consisting of 14 elements of turned wood of various size and shape, which can be put together in an unlimited number of combinations, to create animal shapes.
This game had already won a 1st prize at the Biennial of Industrial Design in Ljubljana in 1966...
A doll with a bisque (porcelain) head is featured on the stamp above to the right. The golden age of this type of doll dates from the late 19th century and early 20th century, with production mainly in Austria, France and Germany.
The doll in the spotlight here, wearing the folk costume of the region of Posavina, was manufactured by the famous German company "Armand Marseille" which produced at that time over 3 million porcelain head each year.
