Le timbre utilisé sur la 1ère lettre ci-dessus, envoyée le 4 juin 2015, est un timbre personnalisé (type IDTimbre), au tarif "Lettre Prioritaire 20g", reproduisant l'affiche officielle de ce tournoi de Roland-Garros 2015.
Cette affiche, montrant un joueur au service, a été conçue pour la 1ère fois par un artiste chinois (peintre à Shanghai), Du Zhenjun, mêlant l'art asiatique traditionnel et l'art contemporain.
Depuis 1980, les Internationaux de France de tennis invitent chaque année un artiste choisi par la galerie d'art Lelong (établie à Paris et New-York) à créer une affiche pour le tournoi...
The stamp used on the first letter above, sent on June 4, 2015, is a personalized stamp ("IDTimbre" type), "Priority Letter 20g" postal rate, reproducing the official poster of this Roland-Garros tournament in 2015.
This poster, showing a player serving, was designed for the first time by a Chinese artist (painter in Shanghai), Du Zhenjun, blending traditional Asian art and contemporary art.
Since 1980, French Open's team invites each year an artist chosen by the Art Gallery Lelong (based in Paris and New York) to design a poster for this tournament...
Un thème plus végétal a été choisi concernant les timbres utilisés sur les 2 autres plis ci-dessus et ci-dessous, envoyés respectivement le 24 mai (1er jour de mise en circulation) et le 5 juin 2015.
Je reparlerai prochainement sur ce blog du timbre ci-dessous, émis le 1er juin 2015 à l'occasion du congrès mondial des sociétés de roses (WFRS) organisé à Lyon.
Le timbre ci-dessus fait partie d'un carnet "La France comme j'aime" composé de 12 timbres, émis le 27 avril 2009, consacré à la flore des régions françaises, un épicéa ici, un arbre emblématique des forêts de ma région natale de Franche-Comté :-)

The stamp above is part of a booklet "La France comme j'aime" consisting of 12 stamps issued on April 27, 2009, dedicated to the flora of the French regions, a spruce here, an emblematic tree of the forests of my native region of Franche-Comté :-)
