Dans un message publié sur ce blog le 20 avril 2015, j'évoquais la série intitulée "Grands musiciens du monde" (2 timbres + 2 blocs-feuillets) émise le 26 mars 2015 par la poste du Portugal (CTT), consacrée respectivement au 150ème anniversaire de la naissance du compositeur finlandais Jean Sibelius (1865-1957) et au 100ème anniversaire de la naissance de la soprano allemande, naturalisée anglaise, Elisabeth Schwartzkopf (1915-2006).
In a message published on this blog on April 20, 2015, I spoke about the series entitled "Great musicians of the world" (2 stamps + 2 souvenir sheets) issued on March 26, 2015 by the Post of Portugal (CTT), dedicated respectively to the 150th anniversary of the birth of Finnish composer Jean Sibelius (1865-1957) and the 100th anniversary of the birth of the German-born Austrian/British soprano opera singer Elisabeth Schwarzkopf (1915-2006).
Après des lettres affranchies avec les 2 blocs-feuillets de cette série, Luis (merci beaucoup !) a eu la gentillesse de m'envoyer le pli ci-dessus, posté le 7 mai 2015 de Braga (formule "Azul Internacional/Exprès"), affranchi cette fois avec les 2 timbres isolés, montrant des portraits différents de Jean Sibelius et Elisabeth Schwartzkopf.
A noter le très grand format (vertical) de ces 2 timbres, incluant, comme de coutume, une encoche en forme de Croix de l'Ordre du Christ au milieu de chaque dentelure horizontale.
After covers franked with the two souvenir sheets in this series, Luis (thank you very much !) was kind enough to send me the letter above, posted on May 7, 2015 from Braga ("Azul Internacional / Exprès" mail), franked this time with the two single stamps showing different portraits of Jean Sibelius and Elisabeth Schwarzkopf.
To note the very large (vertical) size of these two stamps, including, as usual, an Order of Christ's Cross-shaped notch in the midst of each horizontal perforation.
