Mondiaux de biathlon 2013 - Entier postal tchèque

From 7 to 17 February 2013, the Biathlon World Championships will take place for the first time (since 1958) in Czech Republic, in Nové Město na Moravě more precisely (center-east of the country).
As a reminder, Biathlon is an Olympic sport combining cross-country skiing and rifle shooting. 11 events are played during these World Championships : sprint, individual, pursuit, mass start, relay (men and women) as well as a mixed relay since 2005.
On January 21, 2013, the Czech Post has issued a postal stationery devoted to these world championships.

I was lucky enough to receive it, sent the first day of issue from Prague. Thank you very much Bret :-)
Designed by the graphic artist Jan Ungrád and sold at a price of 26 CZK, this postal stationery includes a permanent 'Z' rate stamp (priority mail up to 20g to non-European countries, i.e. 21 CZK currently) depicting a biathlete in a shooting phase (cross-country skiing on the illustration to the left).
As it was the case on previous postal stationeries, this one includes protection elements (hologramm, microtexts).
The logo of IBU (International Biathlon Union) as well as the Czech flag are finally featured on the left part.
To note that France, despite its many champions (Raphaël Poirée, Martin Fourcade...), has curiously never hosted these Biathlon World Championships ?
