Du 24 au 26 octobre 2013 a eu lieu la 31ème édition de l'exposition philatélique internationale de Sindelfingen, une ville du sud-ouest de l'Allemagne (Land du Bade-Wurtemberg), proche de Stuttgart.
J'ai eu la chance de recevoir les 2 souvenirs philatéliques ci-dessous postés le 24 octobre 2013 pendant ce Salon. Merci beaucoup Franz et Bret :-)
Le TAD spécial ci-dessous, un des 4 différents proposés au public pendant ce salon philatélique, fait référence à une exposition qui était en compétition, intitulée "Postgeschichte Live" ("L'histoire postale en direct").
From 24 to 26 October 2013 was held the 31st edition of the International Philatelic Exhibition of Sindelfingen, a town in south-western Germany (Land of Baden-Wurttemberg), near Stuttgart.
I was lucky enough to receive the two philatelic items below mailed on October 24, 2013 during this show. Thank you very much Franz and Bret :-)
The special postmark below, one of the four different cancellations offered to the public during this stamp event, refers to an exhibition that was in competition, entitled "Postgeschichte Live" ("The Postal History Live").
Franz a utilisé ci-dessus le timbre (0,75€), émis le 10 octobre 2013 par la Deutsche Post, consacré au 200ème anniversaire de la naissance de l'explorateur et naturaliste prussien Friedrich Wilhelm Ludwig Leichhardt (1813-vers 1848).
Ce timbre, qui constitue une émission commune avec l'Australie (date d'émission différente : le 15 octobre 2013), représente un portrait de Leichhardt d'après une lithographie (datant du milieu du 19ème siècle) conservée à la bibliothèque nationale d'Australie.
Leichhardt arrive en Australie en 1842 afin d'explorer l'intérieur de l'île. Il effectuera 3 expéditions entre 1844 et 1848, la dernière constituant une traversée de l'Australie d'est (Condamine river) en ouest (Swan river). Leichhardt et son équipe disparurent lors de cette traversée du côté de McPherson's Station (aucune trace n'a jamais été retrouvée) et rentrèrent alors dans l'imaginaire australien...
Franz used above the stamp (€ 0.75), issued on October 10, 2013 by the Deutsche Post, devoted to the 200th anniversary of the birth of the Prussian explorer and naturalist Friedrich Wilhelm Ludwig Leichhardt (1813-circa 1848).
That stamp, that is a joint issue with Australia (different date of issue : October 15, 2013), features a portrait of Leichhardt from a lithograph (dating from the mid-19th century) kept in the National Library of Australia.
Leichhardt arrived in Australia in 1842 to explore the interior of the island. He undertook three major expeditions from 1844 to 1848, the latter being a crossing of Australia from east (Condamine river) to west (Swan river). Leichhardt and his team disappeared during this quest at McPherson's Station (no remains have ever been found) and then became part of Australia's mythology...
Bret a eu la gentillesse de m'envoyer de Prague la carte prépayée (tarif jusqu'à 50g vers l'Europe, 25 CZK actuellement) ci-dessus émise spécialement pour cette exposition philatélique internationale de Sindelfingen.
Cette carte rappelle ainsi que la poste tchèque était présente à cette manifestation (je suppose que l'illustration à gauche fait référence à cette exposition consacrée à l'histoire postale ?).
Cette carte comporte le logo de PostFila, un département spécialisé de la poste tchèque créé en 1992, impliqué dans toutes les activités liées à la conception et la production de timbres et de produits philatéliques dans le pays.
Le timbre pré-imprimé reprend le visuel du timbre émis le 20 janvier 2011, consacré à la tradition de la conception des timbres en république tchèque, à sa gravure en particulier à travers la reproduction d'un timbre gravé par Josef Herčík (1922-1999).
Ce timbre, émis en 1966, représente une diligence postale sur le pont Charles à Prague.
Bret was kind enough to send me from Prague the prepaid card above (rate up to 50g to Europe, currently 25 CZK) issued specifically for this international philatelic exhibition in Sindelfingen.
This card is reminding us that the Czech Post was present at this event (I guess that the picture to the left refers to the exhibition devoted to postal history ?).
This card features the logo of PostFila, a specialized department of the Czech Post created in 1992, involved in all activities related to the design and production of stamps and philatelic products in the country.
The pre-printed stamp shows the design of the stamp issued on January 20, 2011, dedicated to the tradition of the stamp production in Czech Republic, to engraving in particular through the reproduction of a stamp engraved by Josef Herčík (1922-1999).
This stamp, issued in 1966, depictes a postal stagecoach on the Charles Bridge in Prague.
