Le 13 mai 2017, les 5 administrations postales d'Autriche, de Croatie, de Hongrie, de Slovénie et d'Ukraine ont commémoré le 300ème anniversaire de la naissance de Marie-Thérèse d'Autriche (1717-1780), archiduchesse, reine de Hongrie, de Bohême, de Croatie..., impératrice consort du Saint Empire romain germanique, en mettant en circulation un intéressant bloc-feuillet commun.
La version ukrainienne de ce bloc-feuillet (tarif "E" - 0,70$ - envoi standard jusqu'à 20g vers l'étranger, tirage : 45000) figure sur le joli FDC officiel ci-dessous, avec TAD de Lviv. Merci beaucoup Roman !
La prévente de ce bloc-feuillet avait également lieu à Kiev, avec le même TAD.
L'illustration de l'enveloppe a été conçu à partir d'un portrait de Marie-Thérèse (vers 1750) conservé au château d'Eggenberg à Graz en Autriche.
On May 13, 2017, the five postal administrations of Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Slovenia and Ukraine commemorated the 300th anniversary of the birth of Maria Theresa of Austria (1717-1780), Archduchess, Queen of Hungary, Bohemia Croatia..., consort Empress of the Holy Roman Empire, by putting into circulation an interesting joint miniature sheet.
The Ukrainian version of this miniature sheet (rate "E" - $ 0.70 - standard shipment up to 20g abroad, print run : 45,000) is present on the pretty official FDC below, with cancellations from Lviv. Thank you very much Roman!
The preview sale of this sheet took also place in Kyiv with the same postmark.
The illustration of the envelope is based on a portrait of Maria Theresa (circa 1750) preserved in the Eggenberg Palace in Graz, Austria.
Ce bloc-feuillet commun, conçu par la graphiste slovène Svetlana Milijaševič, comporte les noms des 5 pays concernés dans la marge en bas à gauche ainsi que la mention du 300ème anniversaire de la naissance de Marie-Thérèse en bas à droite.
Ce bloc-feuillet reproduit un autre portrait de Marie-Thérèse peint probablement au milieu du 18ème siècle par un artiste inconnu (dans le style de Martin van Meytens le Jeune), conservé au Musée d'Histoire Militaire à Vienne.
Pour rappel, Marie-Thérèse, qui exerça de facto son pouvoir en tant qu'impératrice consort après son mariage en 1736 avec François Ier, est considérée comme une des femmes les plus influentes de l'histoire de l'Autriche et de l'ancien empire austro-hongrois dont la province de Galicie (partie occidentale de l'Ukraine actuelle, rattachée à l'Autriche en 1772) faisait partie.
Roman a également utilisé un 2ème timbre (tarif "F" - 5,40 UAH), émis le 31 décembre 2016, faisant partie de la 8ème série commune (débutée en 2012) consacrée à des feuilles et fruits d'arbres ou arbustes, le fusain d'Europe (Euonymus europaeus) ici.
This joint miniature sheet, designed by the Slovenian graphic artist Svetlana Milijaševič, contains the names of the five countries involved in the lower left margin as well as the mention of this 300th anniversary of the birth of Maria Theresa at the bottom right.
This miniature sheet reproduces another portrait of Maria Theresa painted probably in the middle of the 18th century by an unknown artist (in the style of Martin van Meytens the Younger), kept in the Museum of Military History in Vienna.
As a reminder, Maria Theresa, who practiced de facto her power as a consort Empress after her marriage in 1736 with Francis I, is considered as one of the most influential women in the history of Austria and the former Austrian-Hungarian Empire, of which the province of Galicia (the western part of the present Ukraine, attached to Austria in 1772) was a part.
Roman also used a second stamp (tariff "F" - UAH 5.40), issued on December 31, 2016, being part of the eigth definitive series (started in 2012) devoted to leaves and fruits of trees or shrubs, the European spindle (Euonymus europaeus) here.
