Philippe (Filip en néerlandais), né en 1960 au château du Belvédère à Bruxelles, est, depuis le 21 juillet 2013, le 7ème roi des Belges.
Fils aîné du roi Albert II et de la reine Paola, il devient en effet roi en 2013 en prêtant serment devant les chambres réunies, en néerlandais, français et allemand, après l'abdication de son père.
Philippe a épousé en 1999, Mathilde d'Udekem d'Acoz, et le couple vit au château de Laeken avec ses 4 enfants : la princesse héritière Élisabeth (née en 2001) qui deviendra probablement la 1ère reine des Belges, le prince Gabriel, le prince Emmanuel et la princesse Éléonore.
Le 16 mars 2020, la poste belge bpost a mis en circulation un timbre consacré au 60ème anniversaire du roi Philippe.

Eldest son of King Albert II and Queen Paola, he indeed became King in 2013 by taking an oath before the united chambers, in Dutch, French and German, after his father's abdication.

On March 16, 2020, the Belgian Post bpost put into circulation a stamp dedicated to King Philippe's 60th birthday.
Ce timbre (tarif domestique "1" normalisé NON PRIOR entre 0 et 50g - 0,98€ actuellement à partir de 10 timbres achetés, 1,01€ à l'unité), imprimé dans un feuillet composé de 10 timbres (tirage : 33703 feuillets), figure sur le pli Premier Jour ci-dessus, avec TAD de Bruxelles. Conçu par Myriam Voz à partir d'une photographie du Palais Royal, ce timbre de forme carrée (plutôt inhabituel en Belgique pour un timbre "royal") figure en 2 bandes verticales (5 timbres chacune) sur le feuillet, avec une marge centrale incluant 6 autres photographies du souverain, entre 3 et 50 ans.
A noter la présence du monogramme du roi Philippe (lettres F et P) sur le TAD, également présent sur les pièces en euros belges.

Designed by Myriam Voz from a photograph of the Royal Palace, this square-shaped stamp (rather unusual in Belgium for a "royal" stamp) appears in 2 vertical bands (5 stamps each) on the sheetlet, with a central margin including 6 other photographs of the sovereign, between 3 and 50 years old.
To note the presence of the King Philippe's monogram (letters F and P) on the cancellation, also present on the Belgian euro coins.
