Timbre "2022 - Année internationale du développement durable de la montagne" sur FDC Kirghizstan (KEP)
À l'initiative de Sadyr Japarov, président de la République kirghize, les Nations Unies ont proclamé 2022 Année internationale du développement durable de la montagne.
La résolution des Nations Unies invitait les états membres, les organisations du système des Nations Unies, les autres organisations internationales et les parties prenantes, y compris la société civile, le secteur privé et les universités, à observer cette Année internationale pour accroître la prise de conscience de l'importance du développement durable des montagnes et de la conservation et de l'utilisation durable des écosystèmes de montagne.
L'année 2022 marquait également le 20ème anniversaire de la première Année internationale jamais consacrée à la montagne (Année internationale de la montagne en 2002) ainsi que le 20ème anniversaire du Partenariat de la montagne, une alliance volontaire internationale dédiée à l'amélioration de la vie des peuples des montagnes et à la protection des environnements de montagne dans le monde entier.
At the initiative of Sadyr Japarov, President of the Kyrgyz Republic, the United Nations proclaimed 2022 the International Year of Sustainable Mountain Development.
The United Nations resolution called on member states, organizations of the United Nations system, other international organizations and stakeholders, including civil society, the private sector and academia, to observe the International Year to increase awareness of the importance of sustainable mountain development and the conservation and sustainable use of mountain ecosystems.
The year 2022 also marked the 20th anniversary from the first International Year ever devoted to mountains (International Year of Mountains in 2002) as well as the 20th anniversary of the Mountain Partnership, an international voluntary alliance dedicated to improving the lives of mountain peoples and protecting mountain environments around the world.
Le 30 janvier 2023, la Kyrgyz Express Post (KEP),
le 2ème opérateur postal désigné (l'autre étant la poste kirghize) du
Kirghizstan, a mis en circulation un timbre (avec millésime
2022) consacré à cette Année internationale du développement durable de la montagne.
Ce timbre (250 KGS, tirage : 9000), conçu par Daria Maier à partir d'une photographie de Vladislav Ushakov et imprimée en
Moldavie par "Nova Imprim", figure sur le FDC officiel ci-dessus
(tirage : 400), avec TAD de Bichkek.
Ce timbre, montre une impressionnante vue de la chaîne de montagne de Chaar-Tash (district de Toguz-Toro, centre du pays), avec le village de Kazarman au premier plan, situé sur la rivière Naryn.
Ce timbre (184 mm de long) est considéré comme le plus long timbre du monde, détrônant le timbre thaïlandais (170 mm) émis en 2016 pour le 70ème anniversaire de l'accession au trône du roi Rama IX. Un timbre de Singapour (163 mm) représentant une vue panoramique du quartier des affaires de Marina Bay, avait été aussi émis en 2020.
On January 30, 2023, the Kyrgyz Express Post (KEP), the 2nd designated postal operator (the other being the Kyrgyz Post) of Kyrgyzstan, put into circulation a stamp (with year 2022) dedicated to this International Year of Sustainable Mountain Development.
This stamp (250 KGS, print run: 9,000), designed by Daria Maier from a photograph by Vladislav Ushakov and printed in Moldova by "Nova Imprim", is present on the official FDC above (print run: 400), with postmark from Bishkek.
This stamp shows an impressive view of the Chaar-Tash mountain range (Toguz-Toro district, center of the country), with the village of Kazarman in the foreground, located on the Naryn river.
This stamp (184 mm long) is considered the longest stamp in the world, dethroning the Thai stamp (170 mm) issued in 2016 for the 70th anniversary of the accession to the throne of King Rama IX.
A Singapore stamp (163 mm) depicting a panoramic view of the Marina Bay business district, was also issued in 2020.

Le Kirghizistan est principalement un pays montagneux. Près de 90% du territoire du pays est situé à plus de 1500 mètres d'altitude. Certains sommets dépassent une hauteur de 7000 mètres.
Par conséquent, la République kirghize s'intéresse naturellement au développement des systèmes montagneux et à l'amélioration de leur état écologique. En 2002, le premier sommet mondial de la montagne de Bichkek a eu lieu. Lors de ce sommet a été adoptée la plate-forme de montagne de Bichkek, qui indiquait clairement comment les régions montagneuses devaient se développer à l'échelle mondiale.
