Timbre et LISA "Chalon-sur-Saône - 96ème congrès de la FFAP" sur FDC de France
À l'occasion du championnat de France de philatélie "Philafrance 2023" (180 participants) et du 96ème congrès de la FFAP (Fédération française des associations philatéliques), la poste française a mis en circulation le 30 mai 2023 (vente générale), un timbre consacré à la ville de Chalon-sur-Saône (71 - Saône-et-Loire), où avait lieu cette manifestation du 26 au 29 mai 2023.
Ce timbre (1,16€, tirage : 705000), créé et gravé par Pierre Albuisson, imprimé en feuillet de 10 timbres (avec vignettes attenantes), figure à droite sur cette lettre avec TAD Premier Jour (blason de la ville) du 26 mai 2023 de Chalon-sur-Saône.
Ce timbre montre au premier plan le monument (statue inaugurée en 1885) consacré à l'enfant du pays, Nicéphore Niépce (1765-1833), connu comme étant l'inventeur de la photographie, appelée alors "procédé héliographique".
Cette statue a été inaugurée sur une place dominant Port Villiers, un port installé en 1840 pour permettre aux voyageurs d'emprunter les bateaux à vapeur pour naviguer sur la Saône.
On the occasion of the French philately championship "Philafrance 2023" (180 participants) and the 96th congress of the FFAP (French Federation of Philatelic Associations), the French Post put into circulation on May 30, 2023 (general sale), a stamp dedicated to the city of Chalon-sur-Saône (71 - Saône-et-Loire), where this event took place from May 26 to 29, 2023.
This stamp (€1.16, print run: 705,000), created and engraved by Pierre Albuisson, printed in a sheetlet of 10 stamps (with adjoining labels), was used on the right on this envelope with First Day cancellation (coat of arms of the city) of May 26, 2023 from Chalon-sur-Saône.
This stamp shows in the foreground the monument (statue inaugurated in 1885) dedicated to the local celebrity, Nicéphore Niépce (1765-1833), known as the inventor of photography, then called "heliographic process".
This statue was inaugurated on a square overlooking Port Villiers, a harbor installed in 1840 to allow travelers to take steamboats to navigate the Saône river.
Sur cette place existent encore certains édifices anciens comme l'ancien bâtiment des coches et diligences (construit entre 1675 et 1710), représenté à droite sur le timbre, abritant aujourd'hui l'office de tourisme de la ville.
La vignette attenante représente le portrait Marguerite Boucicaut (1816-1887), originaire de Verjux, village situé au nord-est de Chalon-sur-Saône, créatrice avec son époux du premier grand magasin, "Au Bon Marché", à Paris, qui fit plusieurs legs à la ville pour créer une maison pour mères célibataires, ainsi qu'une maternité en particulier. Un hôpital portant son nom a été inauguré à Paris en 1897, financé en partie par l'un des ses nombreux legs.
Une vignette LISA (tirage : 10000), également conçue par Pierre Albuisson, a aussi été mise en circulation à cette occasion, utilisée à gauche sur cette enveloppe (tarif "Lettre Verte - 1,16€"), consacrée au 35ème festival de montgolfières de Chalon-sur-Saône et de la côte Chalonnaise (Montgolfiades), organisé du 23 au 25 juin 2023.
A noter qu'un timbre consacré à Chalon-sur-Saône avait déjà été émis en 2015.
On this square there are still some old houses such as the old building of coaches and diligences (built between 1675 and 1710), represented on the right on the stamp, today housing the tourist office of the city.
The adjoining label represents the portrait of Marguerite Boucicaut (1816-1887), a native of Verjux, a village located north-east of Chalon-sur-Saône, philanthropist and creator with her husband of the first department store, "Au Bon Marché", in Paris, who made several legacies to the city to create a home for single mothers, as well as a maternity hospital in particular. A hospital bearing her name was inaugurated in Paris in 1897, financed in part by one of her many legacies.
A "LISA" ATM stamp (print run: 10,000), also designed by Pierre Albuisson, was also put into circulation on this occasion, used on the left on this cover ("Green Letter - €1.16" rate), devoted to the 35th Chalon-sur-Saône hot air balloon festival ("Montgolfiades"), organized from June 23 to 25, 2023.
To note that a stamp dedicated to Chalon-sur-Saône had already been issued in 2015.
