Du 13 au 15 octobre 2014, la poste tchèque a mis en circulation un TAD spécial, conçu par Pavel Sivko, consacré à la 50ème exposition sur la conception de timbres ("50. výstavka Známkové tvorby") à Prague.
Ce TAD, proposé uniquement au bureau de poste n°1 de Prague, a été appliqué sur cette magnifique lettre ci-dessous, envoyée en recommandé de Prague le 15 octobre 2014. Merci beaucoup Bret :-)
Cette date correspond au 1er jour d'émission du bloc-feuillet (670ème anniversaire du début de la construction de la cathédrale Saint-Guy à Prague) et du timbre "A" (bouteille de vin et bouquet) utilisés pour affranchir cette lettre, dont je reparlerai dans un prochain article.
From 13 to 15 October 2014, the Czech Post has put into circulation a special postmark, designed by Pavel Sivko, devoted to the 50th exhibition on stamp's design ("50. výstavka Známkové tvorby") in Prague.
This cancellation, only available at the post office N°1 in Prague, was applied to this beautiful cover below, sent by registered mail from Prague on October 15, 2014. Thank you very much Bret :-)
This date corresponds to the first day of issue of the souvenir sheet (670th anniversary of the start of the construction of the St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague) and the "A" stamp (bottle of wine and bouquet) used to frank this letter, about which I'll speak soon in a next post.
Ce TAD figure également sur le feuillet commémoratif numéroté ci-dessous (tirage : 100000 ?) incluant ce même timbre "Bouteille de vin avec un bouquet de fleur dans un entonnoir", conçu par Jiří Slíva.
Comme cela est le cas ici, ce timbre a été émis en feuille de 9 timbres + 12 coupons, dont 11 représentent un curieux flamand rose buvant dans un verre de vin...
This postmark was also applied on the numbered commemorative sheet below (print run : 100,000 ?) including the same "Bottle of wine with a bouquet of flowers in a funnel" stamp, designed by Jiří Slíva.
As it is the case here, that stamp was issued in a sheet of 9 stamps + 12 coupons, 11 of them featuring a curious flamingo drinking in a glass of wine...
Bret a eu également la gentillesse de joindre à ce courrier la splendide gravure incluse sur le feuillet numéroté ci-dessous.
Il semble que cette gravure ait été conçue par la poste tchèque au profit de l'union des philatélistes tchèques (SČF - Svaz českých filatelistů) dont le logo figure en bas à droite sur ce document.

It seems that this etching was designed by the Czech Post in favor of the Union of Czech Philatelists (SČF - Svaz českých filatelistů) whose logo appears in the bottom right on this document.

J'avais déjà évoqué sur ce blog le timbre (25 Kč, gravure : Martin Srb) émis le 27 novembre 2013, reproduisant cette même gravure (cf FDC ci-dessus).
Cette gravure montre la célèbre colonne trajane à droite, située sur le forum de Trajan à Rome, ainsi que les 2 églises Santa Maria di Loreto et Santissimo Nome di Maria al Foro Traiano.
Le Piranèse est célèbre pour ses nombreuses planches gravées représentant des paysages antiques romains et en particulier les 3 éditions des "Carceri d'Invenzione" ("Prisons imaginaires"), débutées en 1745.

This engraving depicts the famous Trajan's column on the right, located on the Forum of Trajan in Rome, as well as the two Santa Maria di Loreto and Santíssimo Nome di Maria al Foro Traiano Churches.
Piranesi is famous for his many engravings depicting ancient Roman landscapes and in particular the three editions of the "Carceri d'Invenzione" ("Imaginary Prisons"), started in 1745.
