Sepac 2021 (historical maps) stamp on FDC from Monaco

Timbre Sepac 2021 (cartes historiques) sur FDC de Monaco

Après "Art de la collection nationale" en 2020, le thème choisi pour les émissions Sepac en 2021 est intitulé "Cartes historiques" et, sauf erreur, 10 des 13 administrations postales européennes (toutes sauf l'île de Man, l'Islande et la Cité du Vatican) membres de l'association Sepac (Small European Postal Administration Cooperation) ont émis un timbre Sepac cette année.
C'est le cas de Monaco avec un timbre (1,50€, conception : Joël Tchobanian) mis en circulation le 19 juillet 2021, illustrant une carte de la Principauté de Monaco datant de 1914 avec en particulier une vue du Rocher et du quartier du port.
Pour rappel, la principauté de Monaco participe à ces émissions Sepac depuis le début en 2007 (paysages) et a émis cette année son 12ème timbre Sepac. 
After "Art from the state collection" in 2020, the theme chosen for the Sepac stamps in 2021 is entitled "Historical maps" and, if I am not mistaken, 10 of the 13 European postal administrations (all except Isle of Man, Iceland and Vatican City) members of the Sepac association (Small European Postal Administration Cooperation) issued a Sepac stamp this year. 
This is the case of Monaco with a stamp (€ 1.50, design: Joël Tchobanian) put into circulation on July 19, 2021, illustrating a map of the Principality of Monaco dating from 1914 with in particular a view of the Rock and the harbour area.
As a reminder, the Principality of Monaco has participated in these Sepac issues since the beginning in 2007 (landscapes) and this year issued its 12th Sepac stamp. 

 

Ce timbre (tirage : 40000), incluant le logo sepac en haut à droite (logo également présent sur le TAD Premier Jour) et imprimé par Philaposte en feuillet de 10 timbres, figure sur le FDC officiel ci-dessus.
Cette carte est intéressante car elle permet de constater l'évolution spectaculaire du territoire monégasque. En un siècle, l'urbanisation s'est en effet intensifiée et de nouveaux quartiers ont émergé grâce notamment aux extensions en mer.
Cette carte a été éditée par l'Institut géographique Wagner & Debes de Leipzig (fondé en 1835), un important imprimeur cartographique allemand et éditeur de travaux cartographiques au 19ème et début du 20ème siècle.

This stamp (print run: 40,000), including the sepac logo at the top right (logo also present on the First Day postmark) and printed by Philaposte in sheetlet of 10 stamps, is present on the official FDC above.

This map is interesting because it shows the spectacular evolution of the Monegasque territory. In a century, urbanization has indeed intensified and new districts have emerged thanks in particular to extensions at sea.

This map was edited by the Wagner & Debes Geographical Institute in Leipzig (founded 1835), a leading German cartographic printer and publisher of cartographic works in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
