"Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games" stamps on cover from Poland

Timbres "Jeux olympiques et paralympiques Tokyo 2020" sur lettre de Pologne

Le 15 juillet 2021, la poste polonaise a mis en circulation 2 timbres consacrés respectivement aux jeux olympiques et aux jeux paralympiques d'été de Tokyo 2020, organisés du 23 juillet au 8 août 2021 et du 24 août au 15 septembre 2021, à cause de la pandémie mondiale de Covid-19.
A noter que la poste polonaise avait émis des séries de 4 timbres ces dernières années pour évoquer les jeux olympiques d'été et que des timbres illustrant les jeux paralympiques ont été déjà émis pour les jeux de Rio en 2016 et PyeongChang en 2018.

On July 15, 2021, the Polish Post put into circulation 2 stamps dedicated respectively to the Summer Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020, organized from July 23 to August 8, 2021 and from August 24 to September 15, 2021, due to the global Covid-19 pandemic.
To note that the Polish Post had issued sets of 4 stamps in recent years to evoke the Summer Olympics and that stamps illustrating the Paralympic Games have already been issued for the Rio Games in 2016 and PyeongChang Games in 2018.

A noter l'absence du logo officiel de ces jeux olympiques et paralympiques de Tokyo 2020 sur ces 2 timbres, idem concernant les emblèmes du comité olympique et paralympique polonais (présents dans les marges des feuillets respectifs dans lesquels ces timbres ont été imprimés).
Le timbre ci-dessus à gauche, consacré aux jeux olympiques de Tokyo, est plutôt étrange avec ce disque rouge au centre (rappel du drapeau japonais) et cet sorte d'écran de TV bordé par des athlètes dans 3 sports (athlétisme, volley-ball et aviron).
A Tokyo, l'équipe olympique polonaise (210 athlètes dans 28 sports) a remporté un total de 14 médailles (dont 4 en or, toutes remportées en athlétisme !), un de ses meilleurs résultats depuis les jeux de Sydney en 2000.
Le timbre évoquant les jeux paralympiques de Tokyo, avec également un disque rouge dans le fond, a été conçu à partir d'une photographie de l'athlète polonaise Natalia Partyka (née sans avant-bras droit), 6 fois championne paralympique en tennis de table, y compris lors de ces jeux de Tokyo en double femmes.
A Tokyo, l'équipe paralympique polonaise (89 athlètes dans 12 sports) a remporté un total de 25 médailles (dont 7 en or, toutes remportées en athlétisme et tennis de table). 
To note the absence of the official logo of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games on these 2 stamps, ditto concerning the emblems of the Polish Olympic and Paralympic Committee (present in the margins of the respective sheetlets in which these stamps were printed).
The stamp above on the left, dedicated to the Tokyo Olympics, is rather strange with this red disc in the center (reminder of the Japanese flag) and this sort of TV screen bordered by athletes in 3 sports (athletics, volleyball and rowing).
In Tokyo, the Polish Olympic team (210 athletes in 28 sports) won a total of 14 medals (including 4 gold, all won in athletics!), one of its best results since the Sydney Games in 2000.
The Tokyo Paralympic Games stamp, also with a red disc in the background, was designed from a photograph of Polish athlete Natalia Partyka (born without a right forearm), 6 times Paralympic table tennis champion, including during these Tokyo Olympics in women's doubles event.
In Tokyo, the Polish Paralympic team (89 athletes in 12 sports) won a total of 25 medals (including 7 gold, all won in athletics and table tennis).
