"60th Anniversary of the Independence Day" stamp set on FDC from Algeria

Série "60ème anniversaire de la Fête de l'indépendance" sur FDC d'Algérie

Signés le 18 mars 1962 après des négociations entre les représentants du Gouvernement de la République française et du Gouvernement provisoire de la République algérienne (GPRA) pour mettre fin à la guerre d'Algérie, les accords d'Évian se traduisent par un cessez-le-feu applicable sur tout le territoire algérien dès le lendemain.
Ces accords mettent fin officiellement à 132 années de colonisation française et à plus de sept années de guerre, ayant opposé environ 130000 combattants algériens à 400 000 combattants français.
Le 1er juillet 1962, les algériens votent massivement pour l'indépendance (99,72 % en faveur du "oui") et l'indépendance de l'Algérie est proclamée le 3 juillet 1962, les autorités algériennes préférant la date symbolique du 5 juillet 1962.
Le 5 juillet 2022, la poste algérienne a mis en circulation une série (4 timbres) consacrée au 60ème anniversaire de la fête de l'indépendance.
Conçus par Ahmed Khelili, ces 4 timbres (25 dinars chacun) émis sous forme de bloc-feuillet, figurent sur le pli Premier Jour ci-dessous envoyé depuis la ville de Jijel. Merci beaucoup Zine ! 
Signed on March 18, 1962 after negotiations between representatives of the Government of the French Republic and the Provisional Government of the Algerian Republic (GPRA) to end the war in Algeria, the "Évian Accords" resulted in a ceasefire applicable throughout the Algerian territory the next day.
These agreements officially put an end to 132 years of French colonization and more than seven years of war, having pitted approximately 130,000 Algerian fighters against 400,000 French fighters.
On July 1, 1962, Algerians voted overwhelmingly for independence (99.72% in favor of "yes") and the independence of Algeria was proclaimed on July 3, 1962, the Algerian authorities preferring the symbolic date of July 5 1962.
On July 5, 2022, the Algerian Post put into circulation a series (4 stamps) dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Independence Day.
Designed by Ahmed Khelili, these 4 stamps (25 dinars each) issued in the form of a souvenir sheet, are present on the First Day cover below sent from the city of Jijel. Thank you very much Zine!

Le timbre en haut à gauche comporte le logo officiel de ces célébrations du 60ème anniversaire de l'indépendance (conçu par Abdelmalek Zelagui), de forme circulaire arboré de 60 étoiles, symbolisant l'union, l'unité nationale et les années d'indépendance. En son centre figurent les pages d'un livre en allusion au registre de la Mémoire nationale, sa première page, dorée, exprimant le lien solide entre l'Armée de libération nationale (ALN) et l'Armée nationale populaire (ANP) et sa contribution au renforcement de la cohésion nationale.
La science et le développement technologique que connait l'Algérie aujourd'hui apparaissent aussi dans le logo.
Les autres timbres de cette série, avec une allégorie au centre en référence au drapeau national, représentent le Mémorial du Martyr, érigé à Alger en 1982 en mémoire des combattants de la guerre d'indépendance algérienne morts pour la libération du pays, des infrastructures routières et ferroviaires marquant le développement économique, la coupole et le minaret de la Grande mosquée d'Alger (achevée en 2019), un satellite de télécommunications ainsi qu'un avion de chasse, un navire militaire et un sous-marin, marquant l'importance de l'armée nationale populaire encore aujourd'hui.

The stamp at the top left features the official logo of these celebrations of the 60th anniversary of independence (designed by Abdelmalek Zelagui), in a circular shape with 60 stars, symbolizing union, national unity and the years of independence. In its center are featured the pages of a book alluding to the register of National Memory, its first page, gilded, expressing the strong link between the National Liberation Army (ALN) and the National People's Army (ANP) and its contribution to strengthening national cohesion.

The science and technological development experienced by Algeria today also appears in the logo.

The other stamps of this series, with an allegory in the center in reference to the national flag, represent the Martyr's Memorial, erected in Algiers in 1982 in memory of the fighters of the Algerian war of independence who died for the liberation of the country, road and railways infrastructures marking economic development, the dome and minaret of the Great Mosque of Algiers (completed in 2019), a telecommunications satellite as well as a fighter plane, a military ship and a submarine, marking the importance of the national people's army even today.
