"…až za obzor… exhibition at the Postal Museum in Prague" postmark on cover from Czech Rep.

On the occasion of the exhibition "...až za obzor..." ("...Beyond the horizon..." - international mail in the changing times) organized at the Postal Museum of Prague from April 29 to October 30, 2022, the Czech Post put into circulation, on April 30, 2022, a special postmark designed by Beáta Šafková.
This postmark, applied to the letter below (thank you very much Slavek!) was proposed to the public by a temporary post office set up in the Prague Postal Museum.
This postmark, simply including the mention "...až za obzor...", the date of issue and "Praha 1", was designed as if it were a registered sticker.
This exhibition introduced visitors to the problems and obstacles that postal shipments had to overcome in the most difficult periods of the last century before finding themselves across borders.
It is almost natural that the silent, often barely perceptible mechanisms of postal transport only attract attention when they begin to falter, whether due to armed conflict or, as we have recently experienced, due to the coronavirus crisis.

In five thematic spaces, the visitor could discover both the history of the development of international postal relations and the historical periods which were unfavorable to it. They learned how the exchange of parcels with foreign countries was limited during the world wars, what rules were given to it by the Czechoslovak communist regime or when international organizations began to talk to it.
This exhibition featured a number of historical maps, posters, uniforms and other postal equipment and one of the attractions was the model of the Polish ocean-going ship Batory, on loan together with the aircraft Aero DH-50 A by the National Technical Museum.
On April 5, 2017, the Czech Post has issued a stamp (32 CZK) dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the commissioning of the Prague International Airport (renamed after Václav Havel in 2012). It is this stamp which was used on the cover above, stamps of the definitive "Flowers" series being also present in order to reach the current tariff (39 CZK) for a priority shipment up to 50g to European countries.
