Bloc-feuillet "2025 - Année de la Constitution et de la Souveraineté" sur lettre d'Azerbaïdjan
L'année 2025 était célébrée comme "Année de la Constitution et de la Souveraineté" en République d'Azerbaïdjan, marquant deux étapes cruciales pour le pays : le 30ème anniversaire de l'adoption de la Constitution de la République d'Azerbaïdjan en 1995 et le 5ème anniversaire de la victoire du pays lors de la Guerre patriotique de 2020 (ou deuxième guerre du Haut-Karabagh contre l'Arménie).
Le 17 octobre 2025, la poste azerbaïdjanaise a mis en circulation un intéressant bloc-feuillet composé de 2 timbres (1 AZN chacun, tirage : 4000) consacré à cette "Année de la Constitution et de la Souveraineté" ("Konstitusiya və suverenlik ili").
Conçu par Aydin Asgarov, ce bloc-feuillet a été utilisé sur la lettre ci-dessous envoyée le 16 novembre 2025 depuis Bakou, la capitale. Merci beaucoup Mahir !
The year 2025 was celebrated as the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty" in the Republic of Azerbaijan, marking two crucial milestones for the country: the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 1995 and the 5th anniversary of the country's victory in the 2020 Patriotic War (or Second Nagorno-Karabakh War against Armenia).
On October 17, 2025, the Azerbaijani Post put into circulation an interesting souvenir sheet consisting of two stamps (1 AZN each, print run: 4,000) dedicated to this "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty" ("Konstitusiya və suverenlik ili").
Designed by Aydin Asgarov, this souvenir sheet was used on the cover below, sent on November 16, 2025, from Baku, the capital. Thank you very much, Mahir!
Adoptée en 1995 et amendée en 2002 et 2009, cette constitution pose les fondations de l'ordre constitutionnel de la République d'Azerbaïdjan, fixe les symboles nationaux (en particulier le drapeau et l'emblème national sur les 2 timbres ci-dessus), la langue officielle et le siège de la capitale.
La constitution énumère également les droits et libertés fondamentaux de l'homme et du citoyen, fixe les compétences du président, du Premier ministre et du gouvernement, de l'Assemblée nationale, du pouvoir judiciaire et les relations entre ces pouvoirs, et les grandes lignes de l'autonomie locale et le statut de la république autonome du Nakhitchevan (présente à gauche sur la carte du pays dans la marge en bas à droite).
L'hymne national ("La Marche azerbaïdjanaise" - paroles : Ahmed Javad et musique : Uzeyir Hadjibeyov), adopté par le gouvernement azerbaïdjanais en 1919, puis à nouveau en 1992 après la dissolution de l'URSS, figure également dans la marge inférieure à gauche.
Adopted in 1995 and amended in 2002 and 2009, this constitution lays the foundations of the constitutional order of the Republic of Azerbaijan, establishes national symbols (in particular the flag and the national emblem on the two stamps above), the official language, and the location of the capital.
The constitution also enumerates the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals and citizens, defines the powers of the president, the prime minister, the government, the National Assembly, the judiciary, and the relationships between these branches, and outlines the principles of local autonomy and the status of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (shown on the left side of the map of the country in the lower right margin).
The national anthem ("Azerbaijan March" - lyrics: Ahmed Javad and music: Uzeyir Hajibeyov), adopted by the Azerbaijani government in 1919 and again in 1992 after the dissolution of the USSR, also appears in the lower left margin.
