Après Hello Kitty en 2004, Mickey Mouse en 2005 et Winnie l'ourson en 2006, la Poste taïwanaise a émis cette année une série consacrée aux personnages du film d'animation "Le Monde de Nemo" (titre original : "Finding Nemo").
2 bloc-feuillets de 5 timbres à 5 NT$ chacun ont ainsi été émis le 3 avril 2008 (97 localement !).
Ces émissions doivent permettre, selon la poste locale, aux plus jeunes de se familiariser et s'intéresser à la philatélie...espérons que ça marche !

After Hello Kitty in 2004, Mickey Mouse in 2005 and Winnie the Pooh in 2006, the Taiwanese Post has issued this year a series devoted to the characters of the animated movie "Finding Nemo".
Two souvenir sheets, with five NT$ 5 stamps each, were issued on April 3, 2008 (97 locally).
These stamps should allow, according to the Taiwan post office, young people to familiarize themselves and take an interest in philately...hope it works !

Ce film, le 5ème en images de synthèse des fameux studios Pixar, est sorti en 2003 dans près de 120 pays !Il raconte l'histoire de Nemo, un poisson-clown né avec une nageoire atrophiée, recherché par son père Marin après avoir été enlevé par un plongeur...
Pendant cette "aventure", Nemo fera la connaissance de nombreux personnages, comme Dory (poisson-chirurgien bleue souffrant de troubles de la mémoire), qui apparaît sur le bloc ci-dessus en compagnie de Pearl (poulpe) Bubbles (poisson-chirurgien jaune), de tortues et de Jacques la crevette (en haut à gauche, il n'a pas eu l'honneur de figurer sur un timbre...).
Merci Cheng pour les jolis cachets utilisés sur cette lettre, le violet en haut à gauche représentant 3 hippocampes et celui affranchissant les timbres du bloc, montrant 2 poissons-clowns ;-)
This movie, the 5th with computer graphics from the famous Pixar Studios, was released in 2003 in nearly 120 countries !
It tells the story of Nemo, a clown fish born with an atrophied fin, sought by his father Marlin after being kidnapped by a diver...
During these "adventure", Nemo will meet many characters, as Dory (a blue tang suffering from memory troubles), which appears on the souvenir sheet above with Pearl (an octopus) Bubbles (a yellow tang), turtles and the shrimp (in the upper left which did not have the honour to appear on a stamp...).
Thank you Cheng for the pretty postmarks used on this letter, a purple one in the upper left representing 3 seahorses and the one cancelling the stamps, showing two clown fishes ;-)
Ci-dessus le 2ème bloc-feuillet de cette même série. Je vous laisse juger mais je préfère de loin celui figurant sur ma lettre !! D'autres créatures sont représentées : Tad (Chelmon jaune à long bec), Peach (étoile de mer), Sheldon (petit hippocampe) et Squirt (petite tortue verte). Ce film, Oscar du meilleur film d'animation en 2003, est truffé de références à d'autres films d'animation (Monstres et Cie, Wallace et Gromit, Les indestructibles, Toy Story) mais aussi à des films plus anciens comme Pinocchio ou 20000 lieues sous les mers (et son capitaine Nemo !).
Sans doute la rançon de la gloire, beaucoup d'enfants ayant vu ce film voulaient avoir leur propre poisson-clown à la maison....
Above the 2nd souvenir sheet from the same set. I leave you to judge but I much prefer the one on my letter ! Other creatures are represented : Tad (a yellow long-nosed butterflyfish), Peach (a starfish), Sheldon (a little seahorse) and Squirt (a little green sea turtle).
This movie, Academy Award for Best Animated Feature in 2003, is full of references to other animated movies (Monsters & Co., Wallace and Gromit, The Incredibles, Toy Story) but also to older movies like Pinocchio or 20.000 Leagues Under the Sea (and its captain Nemo !).
Without doubt the price of fame, many children who watched the movie wanted to have their own clown fish at home...
