Deux lettres très originales aujourd'hui, en provenance d'Autriche !
La 1ère ci-dessous commémore un transport de lettres un peu particulier, le 17 octobre 2010, entre les villes tyroliennes de Thiersee et Kufstein.
C'est en effet le chameau Hachi, une célébrité dans le Tyrol, qui a transporté ces lettres, comme mentionné sur le timbre à date spécial rectangulaire émis à Thiersee pour l'occasion !
Ce transport postal spécial a eut lieu dans le cadre de la 80ème rencontre internationale de collectionneurs, organisée par l'association locale "BSV Kufstein".
A noter également ci-dessous le cachet manuel de la ville de Kufstein apposé lors de l'arrivée de ce "convoi postal".
Two very original covers today coming from Austria !
The first one below commemorates a very special transport of letters, on October 17, 2010, between the Tyrolean towns of Thiersee and Kufstein.
This is indeed the camel Hachi, a celebrity in Tyrol, which carried these letters as indicated on the special rectangular postmark issued in Thiersee for this occasion !
This special postal transport took place as part of the 80th international meeting of collectors, organized by the local stamp association "BSV Kufstein".
To note also below the hand cancellation from the city of Kufstein affixed at the arrival of this "postal convoy".
Le timbre personnalisé (type "Meine Marke"), représentant le chameau Hachi a été émis (1000 exemplaires) le 13 mai 2010 spécialement pour l'association "BSV Kufstein".Ce timbre fait également référence, sauf erreur de ma part, au taux d'alcool (3,25) de son propriétaire, Georg Thaler, lorsque celui-ci tomba lourdement de son chameau le 25 juillet 2009... C'est cet épisode qui rendit célèbre ce chameau en Autriche et dans le reste du monde !
A noter enfin que cette lettre numérotée, n° 228 (combien ont été émises ?), était vendue au profit de l'association d'aide aux enfants victimes du cancer dans le Tyrol ("KinderKrebsHilfe Tirol").
Un timbre courant de complément (0,10€), émis le 25 août 2007 (cytise des Alpes), a été également ajouté ci-dessus.
The personalized stamp ("Meine Marke" type), depicting the camel Hachi was issued (1,000 copies) on May 13, 2010 specifically for the association "BSV Kufstein".
This stamp is also refering, if I'm not wrong, to the rate of alcohol (3.25) of its owner, Georg Thaler, when he heavily fell from his camel on July 25, 2009... It was this episode that made this camel famous in Austria and in the world !
To note finally that this numbered letter, No. 228 (how many were issued ?), was sold to the benefit of the association for children having cancer in the Tyrol ("KinderKrebsHilfe Tirol").
A definitive stamp (€ 0.10), issued on August 25, 2007 (Alpine Laburnum) was also added above.
J'avais déjà publié sur ce blog l'année dernière une lettre spéciale transportée à bord d'une montgolfière entre les villes de Kirchberg in Tirol et Brixen im Thale.Florian a eu la gentillesse de m'envoyer ce nouveau souvenir numéroté (n°1779) ci-dessus commémorant cette fois le 21ème transport spécial de lettres par ballon, à Pinkafeld (Burgenland, est du pays) qui célèbre cette année le 1150ème anniversaire de sa fondation (comme mentionné sur le timbre à date spécial du 16 octobre 2010).
A noter aussi le tampon bleu apposé à gauche, en forme de montgolfière, lors de ce voyage spécial ("bordstempel" signifie "tampon à bord").
J'ai déjà évoqué sur ce blog le timbre EUROPA (renard Fridolin) ci-dessus, émis le 11 juin 2010. J'en reparlerai prochainement mais il semble que le logo EUROPA ait légèrement changé à partir des émissions de 2011...
Comme les années précédents, les résultats des ventes de ces courriers spéciaux ont été reversés à l'institut Ste-Anne de recherche sur le cancer des enfants ("St. Anna Kinderkrebsforschung").
I've already posted on this blog last year a special letter carried on board a balloon between the cities of Kirchberg in Tirol and Brixen im Thale.
Florian was kind enough to send me this new numbered (No. 1779) stamp souvenir above this time commemorating the 21st special postal transport by balloon, at Pinkafeld (Burgenland, Eastern country), a city celebrating this year the 1150th anniversary of its foundation (as indicated on the special postmark of October 16, 2010).
To note also the blue balloon-shaped inkpad affixed to the left during this special trip ("bordstempel" meaning "stamped on board").
I've also already mentioned on this blog the EUROPA stamp (fox Fridolin) above, issued on June 11, 2010. It seems that the EUROPA logo will slightly change in 2011... I'll speak about very soon.
As previous years, the sales revenue of these balloon mails were used to aid the St. Anna Children's Cancer Research Institute ("St. Anna Kinderkrebsforschung").
