First cover from Chagos Islands !

C'est avec un grand plaisir que je partage avec vous cette lettre spéciale, la première reçue de Diego Garcia, un atoll faisant partie de l'archipel des Chagos, formant le territoire britannique de l'océan indien ("British Indian Ocean Territory" ou Biot en anglais) !
Ce territoire d'outremer britannique émet ses propres timbres depuis 1968 (avec une interruption entre 1976 et 1990).
Cette lettre a été postée le 24 février 2011 depuis Diego Garcia, le seul atoll du territoire a être habité (4000 habitants) grâce à la présence d'une base militaire américaine...
It is with great pleasure that I'm sharing with you today this very special letter, the first one received from Diego Garcia, an atoll being part of the Chagos Archipelago, forming the British Indian Ocean Territory (Biot) !
This British overseas territory issues its own stamps since 1968 (with an interruption between 1976 and 1990).
This cover was mailed on February 24, 2011 from Diego Garcia, the only atoll in the territory to be inhabited (population 4,000) with the presence of a U.S. military base...

A noter l'impressionnant cachet du bureau de poste local, en bas à gauche sur l'enveloppe, représentant les armoiries du Biot (approuvées en 1990) avec 2 tortues marines...
Les 2 timbres (27p chacun) font partie d'une série de 5 timbres émis le 1er avril 2008 pour commémorer le 90ème anniversaire de la création de la RAF (Royal Air Force) britannique.
Cette série représente des avions emblématiques de la RAF utilisés pendant ces 90 ans, en particulier un Avro 504 (à gauche), un biplan qui a servi pendant la 1ère guerre mondiale et un de Havilland Mosquito (à droite), un bombardier utilisé en particulier pendant la 2ème guerre mondiale.
To note the impressive bottom left's postmark of the local post office on this envelope, depicting the coat of arms of the Biot (approved in 1990) with two sea turtles...
The two stamps (27p each) are part of a series of five stamps issued on April 1, 2008 to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the founding of the British RAF (Royal Air Force).
This series is featuring some important aircrafts of the RAF used during these last 90 years, in particular a "Avro 504" (to the left), a biplane that was used during World War I and a "de Havilland Mosquito" (to the right), a fast bomber used mainly during World War II.
