Dans un article publié sur ce blog le 15 avril 2012, je partageais avec vous le FDC officiel de la poste tchèque consacré au moine et biologiste Johann Gregor Mendel (1822-1884).
Pour rappel, l'émission de ce timbre coïncidait avec le 190ème anniversaire de la naissance de Mendel, considéré comme le fondateur de la génétique moderne grâce aux célèbres Lois de Mendel, définissant la façon dont les gènes se transmettent de génération en génération.
In a post published on this blog on April 15, 2012, I shared with you the official FDC issued by the Czech Post dedicated to the monk and biologist Johann gregor Mendel (1822-1884).
As a reminder, the issue of this stamp coincided with the 190th anniversary of the birth of Mendel, considered as the founder of modern genetics through the famous laws of Mendelian inheritance defining how genes are transmitted from generation to generation. 
Le 20 juillet 2012, soit 190 ans jour pour jour après la naissance de Johann Gregor Mendel, une oblitération spéciale a également été émise dans son village natal de Hynčice (municipalité de Vražné) situé en Silésie tchèque dans l'est du pays. En 1822, ce village, appelé Heinzendorf bei Odrau, faisait alors partie de l'Empire d'Autriche-Hongrie.
C'est ce TAD, reprenant le même portrait de Mendel que celui reproduit sur le timbre, qui figure sur le pli souvenir ci-dessus. Merci beaucoup Pavel :-)
A noter également la présence de la signature de Mendel sur cette oblitération.
On July 20, 2012, 190 years to the day after the birth of Johann Gregor Mendel, a special postmark was also issued in his native village of Hynčice (Vražné municipality) located in Czech Silesia in eastern country. In 1822, this village, called Heinzendorf bei Odrau, was then part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
It is that cancellation, depicting the same portrait of Mendel as the one reproduced on the stamp, that was applied on the special cover above. Thank you very much Pavel :-)
To note also the presence of the Mendel's signature on this postmark.
Pavel a joint à sa lettre l'intéressante carte postale ci-dessus montrant une vue aérienne de la maison natale de Mendel à Vražné, ouverte au public depuis 1965. Restaurée en 2007, cette ferme abrite aujourd'hui un musée consacré à la vie et aux travaux scientifiques de Mendel ainsi qu'à cette région tchèque.
Pavel attached to his letter the interesting postcard above showing an aerial view of the birth house of Mendel in Vražné, open to the public since 1965. Restored in 2007, this farm is now a museum dedicated to the life and scientific works of Mendel as well as this Czech region.
J'ai également eu la chance de recevoir le feuillet commémoratif numéroté (n° 44123) émis par la poste tchèque ci-dessus concernant cette même oblitération spéciale du 20 juillet 2012. Merci beaucoup Bret :-)

Je ne résiste pas à vous montrer également la jolie lettre recommandée ci-dessus du 19 juillet 2012 (postée de Prague) dans laquelle Bret m'a envoyé ce feuillet commémoratif :-)
