La Coopérative EMS (Express Mail Service), un organe de l'Union postale universelle (UPU) créé en 1999 à Beijing, regroupe aujourd'hui plus de 180 opérateurs postaux dans le monde, qui ont accepté de travailler ensemble pour fournir le produit postal transfrontalier EMS le plus rapide.
La Coopérative EMS a pour objectif de promouvoir la coopération entre les pays membres afin qu'ils puissent fournir à leurs clients un service EMS de haute qualité et compétitif dans le monde entier à un prix abordable...
Le 10 septembre 2019, plusieurs administrations postales ont mis en circulation un timbre commun (conçu par l'UPU) consacré au 20ème anniversaire (jour pour jour) de la création de cette Coopérative EMS.

On September 10, 2019, several postal administrations issued a joint stamp (designed by the UPU) devoted to the 20th anniversary (to the day) of the creation of this EMS Cooperative.
Sauf erreur de ma part, les 21 pays concernés par cette émission commune : Chili, Côte d’Ivoire, Chypre, Égypte, Jordanie, Liban, Maldives, Malte, Mexique, Mongolie, Paraguay, Philippines, Arabie Saoudite, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka, Syrie, Trinité et Tobago, Tunisie, Turquie, Émirats Arabes Unis, Wallis et Futuna.
Ce timbre commun représente une carte du monde avec le logo EMS dans la partie supérieure et la mention "Priorité à l'excellence 1999-2019 - Coopérative EMS de l'UPU" dans la langue du pays, précédée par le drapeau de l'UPU et celui du pays émetteur.
La version saoudienne de ce timbre (3 SAR) figure sous forme de bloc-feuillet (2 timbres) sur la lettre ci-dessus envoyée le 1er septembre 2019 depuis la ville de Djeddah, un des principaux ports du pays (sur la Mer Rouge) situé dans la province de la Mecque. Merci beaucoup Tarique !
A noter que la poste saoudienne a mis en circulation ce timbre en avance, le 21 avril 2019, et que plus de 180 pays sont actuellement membres de cette Coopérative EMS.
Unless I am mistaken, the 21 countries involved in this joint issue: Chile, Côte d'Ivoire, Cyprus, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Maldives, Malta, Mexico, Mongolia, Paraguay, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka, Syria, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Wallis and Futuna.
This joint stamp features a world map with the EMS logo at the top and the mention "Delivering Excellence 1999-2019 - UPU EMS Cooperative" in the language of the country, preceded by the UPU flag and the flag of the issuing country.
The Saudi version of this stamp (SAR 3) is present in the form of a souvenir sheet (2 stamps) on the cover above sent on September 1, 2019 from the city of Jeddah, one of the main ports of the country (on the Red Sea) located in the province of Mecca. Thank you very much Tarique!
It should be noted that the Saudi Post has put into circulation this stamp in advance, on April 21, 2019, and that more than 180 countries are currently members of this EMS Cooperative.
