This stamp features the headquarters of the United Nations in New York as well as the official logo of this 75th anniversary of the United Nations (United Nations emblem, mention "UN75", without the associated slogan "Shaping our future together" here).
The illustration on the envelope shows the emblem of the United Nations as well as an arrow in gradient of blue (this arrow is indirectly included in the logo "UN75" at the number 75).
To note that the Post of Moldova had the good idea to issue this stamp 75 years to the day after the ratification of the United Nations Charter (111 articles), on October 24, 1945 by 51 signatory countries.
This Charter of the United Nations or "Charter of San Francisco" is the treaty that defines the goals and principles of the United Nations as well as the composition, mission and powers of its executive, legislative, judicial and administrative organs.
The Republic of Moldova became a member of the UN on March 2, 1992, a few months after its declaration of independence, and has never been a non-permanent member of the Security Council to date.
