100 ans du volley-ball tchèque - Nouvelle EMA tchèque
A l'occasion du 100ème anniversaire du volley-ball tchèque, une nouvelle empreinte de machine à
affranchir (EMA, appelée OVS en tchèque) bleue (machine NEOPOST) a été mise en circulation
par le bureau postal d'Ostrava 1 (les 10 et 11 septembre 2021 et du 13 au 15 septembre 2021), en collaboration avec l'association
tchèque de
philatélie thématique "Olympsport" (sport et
olympisme).
Cette EMA (valeur 39 CZK ici pour
un envoi en Europe jusqu'à 50g) constituée d'un code matriciel et d'une
illustration représentant le logo de la fédération tchèque de volley-ball ("Český volejbalový svaz"), a été
appliquée le 13 septembre 2021 sur la lettre ci-dessous. Merci beaucoup

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Czech volleyball, a new blue meter cancellation (called
OVS in Czech), printed by a NEOPOST machine, was put into circulation by
the Ostrava 1 post office (on September 10 and 11, 2021 and from September 13 to 15, 2021), in
collaboration with the Czech association of thematic philately
"Olympsport" (sport and Olympism).
This meter cancellation (value 39 CZK
here for a shipment in Europe up to 50g) consisting of a matrix code and
an illustration featuring the logo of the Czech Volleyball Federation ("Český volejbalový svaz"), was applied on September 13, 2021 to the cover below. Thank you very much Slavek!
Le volley-ball est l'un des sports les plus pratiqués dans le pays. Il s'est développé en Tchécoslovaquie après la Première Guerre mondiale et en 1921, une section officielle de volley-ball a été créée.
En République tchèque, il y a actuellement 20000 hommes licenciés et 35000 femmes.
L'équipe nationale masculine tchécoslovaque a obtenu de bons résultats internationaux, en particulier dans les années 1950 et 1960 : médaille d'argent olympique en 1964 et de bronze en 1968, médaille d'or aux championnats du monde en 1956 et 1966, médaille d'or aux championnats d'Europe en 1948, 1955 et 1958.
L'équipe féminine a été championne d'Europe en 1955 et finaliste à 3 reprises (1949, 1958 et 1971).
Volleyball is one of the most popular sports in the country. It developed in Czechoslovakia after World War I and in 1921 an official volleyball section was established.
In Czech Republic, there are currently 20,000 licensed men and 35,000 women.
The Czechoslovak men's national team achieved good international results, especially in the 1950s and 1960s: Olympic silver medal in 1964 and bronze in 1968, gold medal at the world championships in 1956 and 1966, gold at the European Championships in 1948, 1955 and 1958.
The women's team was European champion in 1955 and finalist 3 times (1949, 1958 and 1971).
