"Dinosaur - Prehistory in Sběratel" postmark on cover from Czech Republic

TAD "Dinosaure - Préhistoire à Sběratel" sur lettre de République tchèque

A l'occasion de la foire aux collectionneurs "Sběratel" de Printemps, organisée à Prague les 25 et 26 mars 2022 (hôtel Olympik Tristar) et d'une exposition en particulier consacrée à la préhistoire, la poste tchèque a mis en circulation un intéressant TAD intitulé "Pravěk na Sběratel" ("Préhistoire à Sběratel").
Ce TAD, conçu par Jiří Svoboda, a été appliqué le 25 mars 2022 par le bureau de Prague 8 sur la lettre ci-dessous. Merci beaucoup Slavek !
Ce TAD représente un dinosaure Burianosaurus augustai ("lézard de Burian"), une espèce éteinte de dinosaure ornithopode qui vivait dans ce qui est aujourd'hui la République tchèque (il a été trouvé en 2003 près de la ville de Kutná Hora).
Le nom du genre rend hommage au paléoartiste tchèque Zdeněk Burian (1905-1981) et le nom de l'espèce rend hommage au paléontologue tchèque Josef Augusta (1903-1968). 
On the occasion of the Spring "Sběratel" collectors' fair, organized in Prague on March 25 and 26, 2022 (Olympik Tristar hotel) and an exhibition in particular devoted to prehistory, the Czech Post has put into circulation an interesting postmark entitled "Pravěk na Sběratel" ("Prehistory at Sběratel").
This postmark, designed by Jiří Svoboda, was applied on March 25, 2022 by the Prague 8 post office on the cover below. Thank you very much Slavek!
This cancellation depicts a Burianosaurus augustai ("Burian's lizard") dinosaur, an extinct species of ornithopod dinosaur that lived in what is now the Czech Republic (it was found in 2003 near the town of Kutná Hora).
The genus name honors Czech paleoartist Zdeněk Burian (1905-1981) and the species name honors Czech paleontologist Josef Augusta (1903-1968).

 

Slavek a utilisé 2 timbres identiques (19 CZK) sur le même thème, émis le 4 mars 2018, consacrés à Eduard Štorch (1878-1956), pédagogue, écrivain et archéologue tchèque, à l'occasion du 140ème anniversaire de sa naissance.
Ce timbre, conçu par Zdeněk Daněk, montre un portrait d'Eduard Štorch ainsi qu'une entrée de grotte préhistorique et des mammouths dans le fond. Ces mammouths font sans doute référence à son récit le plus connu "Chasseurs de Mammouth" (1918) dont l'histoire a lieu entre 30000 et 20000 ans avant notre ère, pendant la période du Paléolithique supérieur (Gravettien).
Eduard Štorch est en effet l'auteur de nombreux récits pour la jeunesse mettant en perspective la vie des hommes préhistoriques.
Slavek used two identical stamps (19 CZK) on the same theme, issued on March 4, 2018, dedicated to Eduard Štorch (1878-1956), Czech pedagogue, writer and archaeologist, on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of his birth.
This stamp, designed by Zdeněk Daněk, shows a portrait of Eduard Štorch as well as a prehistoric cave entrance and mammoths in the background. These mammoths probably refer to his best known novel "Mammoth Hunters" (1918) whose history takes place between 30,000 and 20,000 years ago, during the period of the Upper Paleolithic (Gravettian).
Eduard Štorch was indeed the author of many stories for the youth putting in perspective the life of the prehistoric men.
