Série "Paysages de Taïwan - Comté de Changhua" sur FDC de Taïwan
La Chunghwa Post de Taïwan a débuté en 2016 une splendide série consacrée à des sites et paysages de différentes parties du pays.
Après la série précédente émise le 12 mai 2022 consacrée au comté de Yunlin, le comté de Changhua était à l'honneur sur une nouvelle série (4 timbres) émise le 11 novembre 2022 (année 111 localement).
Ces séries ont été émises pour inciter les taïwanais (et les touristes étrangers aussi je suppose) à découvrir les splendides paysages ou sites de leur île.
Le comté de Changhua (1,25 millions d'habitants), situé sur la côte ouest, est le plus petit comté de l'île principale de Taïwan.
Un grand merci George pour l'envoi de ce pli Premier Jour concernant cette série complète (conception : Delta Design Corporation,
tirage : 620000 pour chaque timbre), avec TAD mentionnant cette date spéciale sur l'île : "111.11.11" !
Le TAD noir évoque la rotonde ferroviaire représentée sur le premier timbre de la série, le cachet rouge faisant référence à une exposition philatélique (?), reprenant un détail de chacun des 4 timbres.
Taiwan's Chunghwa Post began a splendid series in 2016 devoted to sites and landscapes from different parts of the country.
After the previous series issued on May 12, 2022 devoted to Yunlin County, Changhua County was in the spotlight on a new series (4 stamps) issued on November 11, 2022 (year 111 locally).
These series have been issued to
encourage Taiwanese (and foreign tourists also I guess) to discover the
beautiful landscapes or sites of their island.
Changhua County (1.25 million inhabitants), located on the west coast, is the smallest county on the main island of Taiwan.
Many thanks George for sending this First Day Cover with this complete set (design: Delta Design Corporation, print run: 620,000 for each stamp), with postmark mentioning this special date on the island: "111.11.11"!
The black postmark evokes the railway roundhouse represented on the first stamp of the series, the red cachet referring to a philatelic exhibition (?), taking up a detail of each of the 4 stamps.
Le premier timbre (8 NT$) représente la rotonde ferroviaire de Changhua, un hangar à locomotives de l'administration des chemins de fer de Taiwan, un bâtiment en forme d'éventail datant de 1922. Les voies s'étendent en éventail depuis la plaque tournante centrale jusqu'au hangar à locomotives.
Le timbre suivant (8 NT$) est consacré au temple Mazu de Lukang, fondé au début de la dynastie Qing (17ème siècle), abritant l'une des premières statues de la divinité Mazu. Cet édifice est considéré comme un temple de l'art grâce à la beauté solennelle de son architecture, ses avant-toits sculptés et ses montants de porte peints, ses peintures colorées et ses sculptures en pierre et en bois.
Le port de pêche de Wanggong est illustré sur le timbre suivant (12 NT$). Les huîtres Wanggong sont réputées dans toute l'île. Le village de pêcheurs possède de riches paysages côtiers naturels - forêts de mangroves - et des atouts culturels caractéristiques - le port, le phare de Fangyuan, la plate-forme d'observation de la mer. Le "Festival de musique de Wanggong" combine musique, feux d'artifice et tradition locale, ce qui fait de Wanggong une destination touristique populaire.
Le dernier timbre (28 NT$) est consacré au Centre d'éducation écologique naturelle, installé dans un bâtiment en forme de dauphin, à l'embouchure de la rivière Dadu à côté de zones humides nationales très importantes avec une flore et une faune abondantes.
The first stamp (NT$ 8) depicts the Changhua Railway Roundhouse, a locomotive shed of the Taiwan Railways Administration, a fan-shaped building dating from 1922. The tracks spread in a fan shape from the central turntable into the locomotive shed.
The following stamp (NT$ 8) is devoted to the Mazu temple of Lukang, founded at the beginning of the Qing dynasty (17th century), sheltering one of the first statues of the deity Mazu. This building is considered a temple of art thanks to the solemn beauty of its architecture, its carved eaves and painted doorposts, its colorful paintings and its carvings in stone and wood.
The Wanggong fishing port is illustrated on the following stamp (NT$ 12). Wanggong oysters are famous throughout the island. The fishing village has rich natural coastal scenery - mangrove forests - and characteristic cultural assets - the harbor, Fangyuan lighthouse, sea viewing platform. "Wanggong Music Festival" combines music, fireworks and local tradition, which makes Wanggong a popular tourist destination.
The last stamp (NT$ 28) is dedicated to the Natural Ecological Education Center, housed in a dolphin-shaped building, at the mouth of the Dadu River next to very important national wetlands with abundant flora and fauna.
