Timbre "15 ans d'indépendance" sur lettre du Kosovo

L'indépendance du Kosovo a été proclamée unilatéralement le 17 février 2008 lors d'une session extraordinaire du parlement, qui déclarait ce nouveau pays indépendant de la Serbie, cette dernière s'y opposant fermement.
Cette indépendance est toujours contestée aujourd'hui par la Serbie qui la considère comme une de ses provinces, et divise la communauté internationale, environ 120 pays ayant reconnu officiellement cette indépendance dont 23 des 27 pays de l'Union Européenne (tous sauf l'Espagne, la Roumanie, la Grèce et la Slovaquie).
Depuis 15 ans, le pays est devenu membre de la plupart des grandes organisations sportives mondiales mais reste à ce jour non membre des principales institutions internationales (ONU, UNESCO...), la Chine et la Russie en particulier, membres permanents du Conseil de sécurité de l'ONU, ne reconnaissant pas cette indépendance. 
A noter également qu'une vingtaine de pays (principalement en Afrique et en Océanie) qui avaient reconnu cette indépendance dans un premier temps, sont depuis revenu sur cette décision... 
Kosovo's independence was proclaimed unilaterally on February 17, 2008 during a special session of parliament, which declared the new country independent of Serbia, the latter strongly opposing it.
This independence is still disputed today by Serbia which considers it as one of its provinces, and divides the international community, about 120 countries having officially recognized this independence including 23 of the 27 countries of the European Union (all except Spain, Romania, Greece and Slovakia).
For 15 years, the country has become a member of most of the major world sports organizations but remains to this day not a member of the main international institutions (UN, UNESCO...), China and Russia in particular, permanent members of the UN Security Council, not recognizing this independence.
It should also be noted that about twenty countries (mainly in Africa and Oceania) which had recognized this independence at first, have since reconsidered this decision...

 

Le 17 février 2023, la poste du Kosovo (Posta e Kosovës) a mis en circulation un timbre (2,10€, tirage : 7000) consacré au 15ème anniversaire de cette indépendance.
Conçu par A. Gagica, ce timbre, imprimé en feuillet de 4 timbres, figure sur la lettre ci-dessus envoyée le 7 avril 2023 depuis la ville de Prizren, située dans le sud du pays. Merci beaucoup Sabri !
Ce timbre comporte la mention "15 vjet shtet, për jete" ("15 ans d'état, pour la vie") en albanais ainsi qu'un logo constitué du nombre 15 stylisé, incluant les couleurs bleu et or du drapeau du Kosovo et les couleurs rouge et noir du drapeau de l'Albanie, le pays "frère". Je suppose que la couleur verte fait référence à l'espoir ou la liberté.
A noter que la poste albanaise a mis en circulation, le 27 avril 2023, une série (2 timbres) consacrée également au 15ème anniversaire de l'indépendance du Kosovo, dont un reproduisant le même logo.
On February 17, 2023, the Post of Kosovo (Posta e Kosovës) put into circulation a stamp (€2.10, print run: 7,000) dedicated to the 15th anniversary of this independence.
Designed by A. Gagica, this stamp, printed in a sheetlet of 4 stamps, was used on the above cover sent on April 7, 2023 from the city of Prizren, located in the south of the country. Thank you very much Sabri!
This stamp features the words "15 vjet shtet, për jete" ("15 years of state, for life") in Albanian as well as a logo consisting of the stylized number 15, including the blue and gold colors of the flag of Kosovo and the red and black colors of the flag of Albania, the "brother" country. I guess the color green refers to hope or freedom.
It should be noted that the Albanian Post put into circulation, on April 27, 2023, a series (2 stamps) also dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the independence of Kosovo, including one reproducing the same logo.
