Timbre "Eurovision - Kalush Orchestra" sur FDC d'Ukraine
Le 14 mai 2022, le groupe ukrainien Kalush Orchestra a remporté le concours Eurovision de la chanson 2022 à Turin, en Italie, avec la chanson "Stefania".
A peine 3 mois après le début de l'invasion de l'Ukraine par les troupes russes, Kalush Orchestra permettait à l'Ukraine de remporter cette compétition pour la 3ème fois (après 2004 et 2016), une victoire très symbolique pour montrer au monde que la culture ukrainienne était toujours vivante et en solidarité avec le peuple ukrainien qui souffre injustement.
Comme elle l'a fait pour les 2 victoires précédentes, la poste ukrainienne Ukrposhta a mis en circulation, le 10 avril 2023, un timbre consacré au groupe Kalush Orchestra.
Ce timbre (tarif permanent "L" - 18 UAH environ, tirage : 130000), conçuspar Sviatoslav Romanchak et imprimé en feuillet de 6 timbres, a été utilisé sur cette enveloppe illustrée envoyée en recommandé le Premier Jour d'émission depuis Lviv. Merci beaucoup Roman !
On May 14, 2022, Ukrainian band Kalush Orchestra won the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, Italy with the song "Stefania".
Barely 3 months after the start of the invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops, Kalush Orchestra allowed Ukraine to win this competition for the 3rd time (after 2004 and 2016), a very symbolic victory to show the world that Ukrainian culture was still alive and in solidarity with the Ukrainian people who are suffering unjustly.
As it did for the two previous victories, the Ukrainian Post Ukrposhta put into circulation, on April 10, 2023, a stamp dedicated to the Kalush Orchestra band.
This stamp (permanent rate "L" - approximately 18 UAH, print run: 130,000), designed by Sviatoslav Romanchak and printed in sheetlet of 6 stamps, was used on this illustrated envelope sent by registered mail on the First Day of issue from Lviv. Thank you very much Roman!
Cette enveloppe (tirage : 100000, conception : Olesya Vakulenko) a été spécialement mise en circulation pour l'émission de ce timbre dont le titre "Stefania" fait référence à la mère d'Oleh Psiouk, le fondateur du groupe, célèbre pour son couvre-chef rose.
Les paroles nostalgiques de la chanson, mêlant musique populaire traditionnelle (utilisation de la Sopilka et la Tilinca, 2 instruments à vent ressemblant à des flûtes) et rap moderne, célèbrent en même temps l'identité culturelle ukrainienne et la mère-patrie.
Une partie du refrain de la chanson est inscrite sur cette enveloppe : "Mère Stefania, mère Stefania - Le champ est en fleurs, mais il devient gris - Mère, chante-moi la berceuse - Je veux entendre ta douce parole".
A cause de la guerre, l'Ukraine n'a pas pu organiser ce concours Eurovision de la chanson cette année, qui a lieu cette semaine (finale le 13 mai 2023) à Liverpool.
This envelope (print run: 100,000, design: Olesya Vakulenko) was specially put into circulation for the issue of this stamp whose title "Stefania" refers to the mother of Oleh Psiouk, the group's founder, famous for his pink headgear.
The nostalgic lyrics of the song, mixing traditional popular music (use of the Sopilka and the Tilinca, 2 wind instruments resembling flutes) and modern rap, simultaneously celebrate Ukrainian cultural identity and the motherland.
Part of the song's chorus is inscribed on this envelope: "Stefania mum mum Stefania - The field blooms, but she is turning grey - Sing me a lullaby mum - I want to hear your native word".
Due to the war, Ukraine could not organize this year's Eurovision Song Contest, which takes place this week (final on May 13, 2023) in Liverpool, UK.
