Best Wishes from the French President !

La présidence de la république française a une nouvelle fois fait usage cette année d'un prêt-à-poster pour envoyer ses voeux.
J'avais déjà publié sur ce blog, début 2010, le précédent PAP identique à celui ci-dessous envoyé le 8 février 2011 avec la même oblitération mécanique de Paris Villette CPC.
Cette enveloppe pré-timbrée (Marianne de Beaujard choisie en juillet 2008 par Nicolas Sarkozy) est prévue pour les envois prioritaires (jusqu'à 20g) au départ de la France à destination de la France, de Monaco et d'Andorre.
The Presidency of the French Republic has once again used this year a Postal Stationery to send its New Year's greetings.
I'd already published on this blog in early 2010, the last postal stationery, identical to the one below sent on February 8, 2011 with the same mechanical cancellation from Paris Villette CPC.
This prepaid envelope (with the Marianne designed by Yves Beaujard, chosen in July 2008 by Nicolas Sarkozy himself) is used for priority letters (up to 20g) from France to France, Monaco and Andorra.

Cette enveloppe agréée par La Poste, avec une entête mentionnant "Le Président de la République", a une validité permanente et porte au verso le numéro d'agrément N° 909 - Lot G4K/09A517, le même que l'an passé.
Pour rappel, le courrier de la Présidence de la République ne circule plus en franchise postale depuis 1996 alors que les citoyens français peuvent toujours envoyer leurs courriers à l'Elysée en franchise postale...
This envelope approved by the French Post, with a header stating "The President of the Republic", has a permanent validity and the back bears the approval number No. 909 - Lot G4K/09A517, the same as last year.
As a reminder, mails from the Presidency of the French Republic are no longer circulating in free postage since 1996 whereas French citizens can still send their letters to the Elysée Palace post free...

Le premier volet de la carte de voeux jointe reproduit une jolie photographie de la cour d'entrée du Palais de l'Elysée, résidence officielle du président de la république française depuis 1873.
L'an passé, cette carte montrait une vue du grand bassin dans les jardins...
The first part of the attached greeting card reproduces a rather nice photograph of the entrance courtyard of the Elysee Palace, the official residence of the President of the French Republic since 1873.
Last year, the card showed a view from the fountain in the gardens...

Contrairement à l'année passée, l'épouse du chef de l'état, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, n'est cette fois pas mentionnée sur le volet manuscrit ci-dessus de cette même carte de voeux...

Contrary to last year, the wife of the head of state, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, is this time not mentioned on the written part of this same greeting card above...
