J'ai déjà largement évoqué sur ce blog les oeuvres de l'artiste tchèque Václav Zapadlík (né en 1943), devenu célèbre dans le monde entier à partir des années 90 pour ses magnifiques représentations de voitures anciennes.
La poste tchèque émet en effet chaque année depuis 2012 des carnets composés de timbres autocollants reproduisant certains de ses dessins, des voitures de marque Škoda pour la plupart.
Du 18 septembre 2015 au 14 février 2016, le musée postal de Prague lui consacre une exposition intitulée "Václav Zapadlík / Známky s vůní benzínu" ("Václav Zapadlík / des timbres au parfum d'essence").
I've already widely written on this blog about the works by Czech artist Václav Zapadlík (born 1943), who became famous worldwide from the 1990s for his beautiful representations of old cars.
The Czech Post is actually issuing every year since 2012 some booklets of self-adhesive stamps reproducing some of his drawings, Škoda cars for most of them.
From 18 September 2015 to 14 February 2016, the Postal Museum in Prague devotes an exhibition entitled "Václav Zapadlík / Známky s vůní benzínu" ("Václav Zapadlík / Stamps smelling gasoline") to Václav Zapadlík.
A cette occasion, la carte pré-timbrée ci-dessus (tarif permanent "E" pour un envoi jusqu'à 50g vers l'Europe, 25 CZK actuellement) a été émise ainsi que le TAD spécial appliqué ici, disponible au musée postal de Prague du 19 au 23 septembre 2015. Un grand merci Bret et Slavek pour les 2 plis ci-dessus et ci-dessous !
Ce TAD, conçu par Karel Mráz, représente un autoportrait de Václav Zapadlík alors que l'illustration à gauche sur la carte ci-dessus reproduit un de ses dessins, représentant une Škoda Superb (datant de 1949).
Cette exposition est organisée en collaboration avec le musée national technique ("Národní technické muzeum") et le musée régional de Vysoké Mýto ("Regionální muzeum ve Vysokém Mýtě"), dont les logos figurent en bas à gauche, à côté de l'emblème du musée postal de Prague.
On this occasion, the prepaid card above (permanent rate "E" for sending an item up to 50g to Europe, currently 25 CZK) was issued as well as the special postmark applied here, available at the Postal Museum in Prague from 19 to 23 September 2015. Ils font partie d'un carnet (2 x 4 timbres différents) émis le 20 janvier 2015, intitulé "ils ont apporté la liberté", consacré à différents véhicules et aéronefs militaires utilisés pendant la 2nde guerre mondiale et qui ont contribué à la victoire des alliés contre l'Allemagne Nazie.
Ces 2 timbres autocollants (tarif permanent "A", envoi domestique jusqu'à 50g, 13 CZK actuellement) représentent deux véhicules motorisés américains, une Jeep GPW (Ford) et une moto Harley-Davidson WLA "Liberator".
On the letter above, Slavek used two stamps about which I have already spoken several times on this blog, also designed by Václav Zapadlík.
They are part of a booklet (2 x 4 different stamps) issued on January 20, 2015, entitled "They brought Freedom", devoted to various military vehicles and aircrafts used during the 2nd World War and having contributed to the victory of allies against Nazi Germany.
These two self-adhesive stamps (permanent rate "A" - domestic shipment up to 50g, currently 13 CZK) are featuring two US motorized vehicles, a Jeep GPW (Ford) and a Harley-Davidson WLA "Liberator" motorcycle.
